Technical Field

The invention relates to the technical field of orthodontic treatment appliances, in particular to an invisible orthodontic twin-peak accessory.

Background

Invisible correction is increasingly becoming the trend of the orthodontic development of the modern times. The invisible orthodontic appliance is a movable orthodontic device made of transparent elastic materials and designed and manufactured by computer assistance, is a sequence of a plurality of continuous tooth sockets, and achieves the aim of orthodontic by continuous small-range tooth movement. To enhance retention and control of the invisible appliance, attachments, such as rectangular attachments, oval attachments, etc., are often attached to the teeth.

The accessories commonly used in clinic have the following problems:

1. the traditional rectangular accessory has only 5 plane contacts with the appliance, and the control capability is weak. Each contact surface is a plane with sharp corners, so that the degree of the contact surface is small, and the appliance is difficult to take off and wear. Due to the material characteristics of the invisible appliance, the closer the accessory is placed to the square, the better the function is. However, the traditional rectangular attachments for mandibular teeth often cannot be placed close to the occlusal position due to cusp interference, which has a large impact on the performance of the attachments.

2. The oval attachment has poor retention, weak control force on teeth, and easy derailment of teeth. Each surface is a convex surface, which often forms occlusion interference and limits clinical use.

3. The accessory is optimized, the size is small, and the patient can take off and wear the clothes conveniently. But has weak control capability on teeth, poor retention performance, easy derailment in the correction process and influence on the moving direction and speed of the teeth.

Disclosure of Invention

In order to solve the problems, the invention provides an invisible orthodontic bimodal accessory. The gum side surface of the invisible orthodontic double-peak accessory is of a plane structure, two sides of the combined side surface facing to the mesial surface and the distal surface are respectively provided with two smooth bulges to form a concave smooth curved surface structure, namely a double-peak structure, so that the structural design not only increases the surface contact surface area and enhances the retention property, but also has contact surfaces in multiple directions with the orthodontic device, can effectively transfer orthodontic force in multiple directions, and controls tooth movement in multiple directions and multiple angles; the curved surface lines formed by the double-peak structure are soft, the appliance can be fully contacted with the accessories, effective pressure is formed at a specific angle, excessive concentration of pressure is avoided, and derailment is reduced; a valley is formed between the two peaks, so that the cusps of the jaw teeth are avoided, and the selectable positions for placing the accessories are greatly widened.

In order to achieve the purpose, the invention adopts the following technical scheme:

an invisible orthodontic bimodal accessory having oppositely disposed lingual and labial sides, oppositely disposed mesial and distal sides, and oppositely disposed occlusal and gingival sides; wherein the lingual side bonds at the tooth face, close the side and set up to concave type rounding off curved surface structure, the gum side is planar structure, the gum side sets up towards gum one side.

Detailed Description

In order to make the technical solutions of the present invention better understood, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, and not all of the embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.

Referring to fig. 1-3, the present embodiment provides an invisible orthodontic bimodal attachment 1 having opposite lingual 11 and labial 12 sides, opposite mesial 14 and distal 13 sides, and opposite occlusal 15 and gingival 16 sides. Further, the lingual side 11 is adhered to a tooth surface, preferably but not limited to the labial side 21 of the tooth 2. The combined side surface 15 is of a concave smooth curved surface structure, the gum side surface 16 is of a plane structure, and the gum side surface 16 faces one side of the gum.

Further, the wall surface of the occlusal surface 15 is perpendicular to the tooth surface or inclined to the tooth surface. Correspondingly, the wall surfaces of the gingival side, mesial surface 14 and/or distal surface 13 may be perpendicular to the tooth surface or oblique to the tooth surface. It will be appreciated that the walls of the occlusal surface 15, the gingival side, the mesial surface 14 and/or the distal surface 13 may be designed to be perpendicular to the tooth surface, depending on clinical needs; or not completely perpendicular, i.e., oblique to the tooth surface, such as with one or more walls converging in the direction of the other side wall, to facilitate removal and wearing of the invisible appliance (so formed the labial side 12 of the attachment 1 will be smaller than the lingual side 11).

Further, the lip side 12 is a planar or arc-shaped planar lip side 12. Correspondingly, the mesial surface 14 is a planar or arc-shaped planar mesial surface 14, and/or the distal surface 13 is a planar or arc-shaped planar distal surface 13. By the structural design, the phenomenon that all parts with obvious edges are not beneficial to matching with the appliance is avoided, and the appliance is easier to wear. Preferably, the lingual side 11 is shaped to conform to the contour of the bonded tooth surface.

Further, the thickness of the double-peak accessory 1 is 1-2 mm. In particular, the length, height and position of the double-peak accessory 1 can be flexibly changed according to the size and the moving requirement of the teeth 2.

Furthermore, the double-peak accessory 1 is made of resin, namely, is formed by bonding resin, and is fixed on the tooth surface by the bonding force of the resin and the tooth 2.

The invention also provides an invisible appliance comprising an attachment 1 as described above.

The invention has the following beneficial effects:

the gum side surface of the invisible orthodontic bimodal accessory 1 is of a plane structure, two sides of the close side surface 15, which face to the mesial surface and the distal surface, are respectively provided with two smooth bulges to form a concave smooth curved surface structure, namely a bimodal structure, so that the structural design not only increases the surface contact surface area and enhances the retention property, but also has contact surfaces in multiple directions with an orthodontic appliance, can effectively transfer orthodontic force in multiple directions, and controls the teeth 2 to move in multiple directions and multiple angles; the curved line formed by the double-peak structure is soft, the appliance can be fully contacted with the accessory 1, effective pressure is formed at a specific angle, excessive concentration of pressure is avoided, and derailment is reduced; a valley with a downward concave part is formed between the two peaks, so that the cusps of the jaw teeth 2 are avoided, and the selectable positions for placing the accessories 1 are greatly widened.
