Background

The vacuum tire is a pneumatic tire without an inner tube, also called a low-pressure tire or a pneumatic tire, and has high elasticity and wear resistance, good adhesive force and heat dissipation performance. Vacuum tires are increasingly used on bicycles, motorcycles, cars, passenger cars, and trucks.

The vacuum tire is divided into three parts: carcass, cord fabric, tread. The tyre body is softer, the rigidity of the outer tyre surface is larger, the middle cord thread plays a role in reinforcing the strength and shaping of the tyre body, and the metal wire is additionally added to improve the elastic performance of the tyre.

At present, two methods are generally adopted when the tire is repaired, wherein one method is to directly attach a tire repairing paste on an inner liner of the tire, and the other method is to repair the tire through mushroom nails. However, both of these two tire repair methods have certain limitations, that is, after the damaged portion of the tire is ground into a regular through hole, if the hole diameter exceeds 6mm, tire repair is generally not recommended, and in addition, repair is generally not recommended for the damaged portion of the sidewall, because the effect after tire repair is poor, tire replacement is recommended, which increases the use cost and reduces the service life of the tire. The main reason is that after the damaged part is large in size or located at the damaged part of the tire side, even after tire repair, because the through hole has no supporting force, when the tire runs under rated air pressure, the tire bulges at the tire repair part, and the tire puncture phenomenon may happen seriously. As can be seen from fig. 2, 4, 6, 8 and 11, the rivet-pulling type tire repairing nail comprises a nail body 1, wherein one end of the nail body 1 is provided with a slot a2 along the axial direction of the nail body 1, the slot bottom of the slot a2 is communicated with a slot B3, the inner wall of the slot B3 is provided with an internal thread, the inner diameter of the slot a2 is larger than or equal to the major diameter of the internal thread of the slot B3, one end of the nail body 1 provided with a slot a2 is provided with a flange a4 outwards, the part of the nail body 1 corresponding to the slot a2 is provided with a reinforcing part 5 and a deformation part 6 in sequence along the direction from a flange a4 to the slot B3, the strength of the reinforcing part 5 is larger than that of the deformation part 6, the part of the nail body 1 corresponding to the slot B3 is a tension part 7, and the flange a4 is an arc surface structure a attached to the outer side surface of the bottom rubber layer of the repaired tire; when the tension part 7 is forced to move towards the side of the turned-over edge A4, the middle part of the deformation part 6 bulges outwards to form a turned-over edge B12, and the turned-over edge A4 and the turned-over edge B12 clamp and fix the part of the carcass layer 16 between the tread bottom rubber layer and the air-tight layer of the repaired tire 15; the opposite end of the nail body 1, which is positioned at the flanging A4, is of an arc-shaped structure B8 which is smoothly connected with the side wall of the nail body 1; the flange A4 is of a polygonal structure; the cambered surface structure C formed at the boundary of the reinforcing part 5 and the deformation part 6 and the cambered surface structure D of the groove bottom of the groove hole A2 are coaxial with the cambered surface structure A of the flanging A4; the included angle between the turned edge A4 and the nail body 1 is less than or equal to 90 degrees; the axial distance between the cambered structure C formed at the boundary of the reinforcing part 5 and the deformation part 6 and the end face of the turned-over edge A4 facing to the cambered structure B8 is smaller than the thickness of the carcass layer 16 of the repaired tire 15; the outer surface of the nail body 1 is coated with a sealing sleeve 9 for sealing, the sealing sleeve 9 is made of elastic materials, and the outer surface of the sealing sleeve 9 and the position corresponding to the reinforcing part 5 are sleeved with a protective sleeve 10; when the protective sleeve 10 is sleeved outside the sealing sleeve 9, the outer side wall of the protective sleeve 10 is flush with the outer side wall of the sealing sleeve 9 sleeved on the nail body 1; the cambered surfaces of the two ends of the protective sleeve 10 are coaxial with the cambered surface structure A; the axial length of the protective sleeve 10 is smaller than the axial distance between an arc structure C formed at the boundary of the reinforcing part 5 and the deformation part 6 and the end face of one side of the turned edge A4 facing the arc structure B8; and the axial length of the protective sleeve 10 is smaller than the thickness of the carcass layer 16 sandwiched and fixed by the turned-up edge A4 and the turned-up edge B12; after the nail body 1 is fixed with the repaired tire 15, a support bolt 13 is fixed in the nail body 1 through the internal thread of the slot B3, a nut 14 of the support bolt 13 extends out of the slot A2, and the distance between the end surface of the nut 14 and the axis of the repaired tire 15 is smaller than or equal to the distance between the wear safety line of the repaired tire 15 and the axis of the repaired tire 15; fixing glue A is filled between the external thread of the supporting bolt 13 and the internal thread of the slotted hole B3; fixing glue B19 is filled between the joints of the tread bottom glue layer and the turnup A4 and between the joints of the air-tight layer and the turnup B12 of the carcass layer 16 of the repaired tire 15; the wall thickness of the reinforcement 5 is greater than the wall thickness of the deformation 6, and the wall thickness of the reinforcement 5 is less than the wall thickness of the tension 7.

When the hole repairing device is used, a hole at the damaged part of a repaired tire 15 is firstly ground into a tire through hole with a circular section, when the diameter of the tire through hole is larger than or equal to 6mm, a nail body 1 with a proper size is selected according to the diameter of the tire through hole, a sealing sleeve 9 is fixedly sleeved on the outer surface of the nail body 1, a protective sleeve 10 is further sleeved on the outer surface of the sealing sleeve 9 and a reinforcing part 5 corresponding to the nail body 1, and the proper nail body 1 is selected, so that the outer diameter of the protective sleeve 10 is in interference fit with the diameter of the tire through hole; then according to the size of the turned edge A4 of the selected nail body 1, the tread surface 17 of the repaired tire 15 and the position corresponding to the through hole are ground to a primer layer, and ground to be a groove 18 matched with the shape and size of the turned edge A4; polishing the inner liner of the repaired tire 15 according to the axial length of the deformation part 6 of the selected nail body 1, wherein the polished area of the inner liner corresponds to the size of a turned edge B12 formed by the deformation part 6; then, coating fixing glue B19 on the position of the outer surface of the sealing sleeve 9, which corresponds to the end face of the flange A4 of the nail body 1, facing the nail body 1, and the part of the outer surface of the sealing sleeve 9, which is in contact with the air-tight layer after forming a flange B12 corresponding to the deformation part 6 of the nail body 1; then, the through hole of the tire is spread, one end of the cambered surface structure 8 of the nail body 1 is inserted into the through hole of the tire and then is positioned in the tire until the sealing sleeve 9 at the position corresponding to the flanging A4 of the nail body is contacted with the bottom rubber layer in the groove 18 area; at this time, the tire 15 is inflated until the air pressure in the tire is smaller than the rated tire pressure of the repaired tire 15; then, the external thread of the gun head of the hand riveter extends into the nail body 1 and then is connected with the internal thread of the groove hole B3 of the tension part 7, then the tension part 7 is pulled to one side of the flanging A4 through the hand riveter so that the middle part of the deformation part 6 expands outwards to form a flanging B12, and the sealing sleeve 9 at the position corresponding to the flanging B12 is attached to the airtight layer of the repaired tire 15; keeping for a period of time under the action of a rivet gun, so that the turnup B12 and the turnup A4 tightly clamp the sealing sleeve 9 at the corresponding position and the carcass layer 16 of the repaired tire, and further completely bonding the fixing glue B19 between the sealing sleeve 9 and the inner liner at the position corresponding to the turnup B12 and the fixing glue B19 between the sealing sleeve 9 and the primer layer at the position corresponding to the turnup A4; finally, separating the external thread of the gun head of the hand riveter from the internal thread of the groove hole B3 of the tension part 7 and then pulling out the nail body 1; and finally, coating fixing glue A on the surface of the external thread of the supporting bolt 13 matched with the internal thread of the slotted hole B3, and screwing and fixing the supporting bolt 13 and the internal thread of the slotted hole B3. After the fixing glue A is solidified, the repaired tire 15 is inflated to the rated tire pressure, and then the tire repairing operation can be completed.

As can be seen from fig. 3, 4, 6, 9 and 12, the rivet-pulling type tire repairing nail comprises a nail body 1, wherein one end of the nail body 1 is provided with a slot a2 along the axial direction of the nail body 1, the slot bottom of the slot a2 is communicated with a slot B3, the inner wall of the slot B3 is provided with an internal thread, the inner diameter of the slot a2 is larger than or equal to the major diameter of the internal thread of the slot B3, one end of the nail body 1 provided with a slot a2 is provided with a flange a4 outwards, the part of the nail body 1 corresponding to the slot a2 is provided with a reinforcing part 5 and a deformation part 6 in sequence along the direction from a flange a4 to the slot B3, the strength of the reinforcing part 5 is larger than that of the deformation part 6, the part of the nail body 1 corresponding to the slot B3 is a tension part 7, and the flange a4 is an arc surface structure a attached to the outer side surface of the bottom rubber layer of the repaired tire; when the tension part 7 is forced to move towards the side of the turned-over edge A4, the middle part of the deformation part 6 bulges outwards to form a turned-over edge B12, and the turned-over edge A4 and the turned-over edge B12 clamp and fix the part of the carcass layer 16 between the tread bottom rubber layer and the air-tight layer of the repaired tire 15; the opposite end of the nail body 1, which is positioned at the flanging A4, is of an arc-shaped structure B8 which is smoothly connected with the side wall of the nail body 1; the flange A4 is of a polygonal structure; the cambered surface structure C formed at the boundary of the reinforcing part 5 and the deformation part 6 and the cambered surface structure D of the groove bottom of the groove hole A2 are coaxial with the cambered surface structure A of the flanging A4; the included angle between the turned edge A4 and the nail body 1 is less than or equal to 90 degrees; the axial distance between the cambered structure C formed at the boundary of the reinforcing part 5 and the deformation part 6 and the end face of the turned-over edge A4 facing to the cambered structure B8 is smaller than the thickness of the carcass layer 16 of the repaired tire 15; the outer surface of the nail body 1 is coated with a sealing sleeve 9 for sealing, and the outer surface of the sealing sleeve 9, corresponding to the reinforcing part 5, is sleeved with a protective sleeve 10; when the protective sleeve 10 is sleeved outside the sealing sleeve 9, the outer side wall of the protective sleeve 10 is flush with the outer side wall of the sealing sleeve 9 sleeved on the nail body 1; the cambered surfaces of the two ends of the protective sleeve 10 are coaxial with the cambered surface structure A; the axial length of the protective sleeve 10 is smaller than the axial distance between an arc structure C formed at the boundary of the reinforcing part 5 and the deformation part 6 and the end face of one side of the turned edge A4 facing the arc structure B8; and the axial length of the protective sleeve 10 is smaller than the thickness of the carcass layer 16 sandwiched and fixed by the turned-up edge A4 and the turned-up edge B12; a plurality of strip-shaped through holes 11 communicated with the slotted hole A2 are axially formed in the position, corresponding to the deformation part 6, of the side wall of the nail body 1, and the strip-shaped through holes 11 are uniformly distributed on the side wall of the nail body 1; when the deformation part 6 forms a turned edge B12, the strip-shaped through hole 11 is filled with sealant 20; after the nail body 1 is fixed with the repaired tire 15, a support bolt 13 is fixed in the nail body 1 through the internal thread of the slot B3, a nut 14 of the support bolt 13 extends out of the slot A2, and the distance between the end surface of the nut 14 and the axis of the repaired tire 15 is smaller than or equal to the distance between the wear safety line of the repaired tire 15 and the axis of the repaired tire 15; fixing glue A is filled between the external thread of the supporting bolt 13 and the internal thread of the slotted hole B3; fixing glue B19 is filled between the joints of the tread bottom glue layer and the turnup A4 and between the joints of the air-tight layer and the turnup B12 of the carcass layer 16 of the repaired tire 15; the wall thickness of the reinforcement 5 is greater than the wall thickness of the deformation 6, and the wall thickness of the reinforcement 5 is less than the wall thickness of the tension 7.

When the hole repairing device is used, a hole at the damaged part of a repaired tire 15 is firstly ground into a tire through hole with a circular section, when the diameter of the tire through hole is larger than or equal to 6mm, a nail body 1 with a proper size is selected according to the diameter of the tire through hole, a sealing sleeve 9 is fixedly sleeved on the outer surface of the nail body 1, a protective sleeve 10 is further sleeved on the outer surface of the sealing sleeve 9 and a reinforcing part 5 corresponding to the nail body 1, and the proper nail body 1 is selected, so that the outer diameter of the protective sleeve 10 is in interference fit with the diameter of the tire through hole; then according to the size of the turned edge A4 of the selected nail body 1, the tread surface 17 of the repaired tire 15 and the position corresponding to the through hole are ground to a primer layer, and ground to be a groove 18 matched with the shape and size of the turned edge A4; polishing the inner liner of the repaired tire 15 according to the axial length of the deformation part 6 of the selected nail body 1, wherein the polished area of the inner liner corresponds to the size of a turned edge B12 formed by the deformation part 6; then, coating fixing glue B19 on the position of the outer surface of the sealing sleeve 9, which corresponds to the end face of the flange A4 of the nail body 1, facing the nail body 1, and the part of the outer surface of the sealing sleeve 9, which is in contact with the air-tight layer after forming a flange B12 corresponding to the deformation part 6 of the nail body 1; then, the through hole of the tire is spread, one end of the cambered surface structure 8 of the nail body 1 is inserted into the through hole of the tire and then is positioned in the tire until the sealing sleeve 9 at the position corresponding to the flanging A4 of the nail body is contacted with the bottom rubber layer in the groove 18 area; at this time, the tire 15 is inflated until the air pressure in the tire is smaller than the rated tire pressure of the repaired tire 15; then, the external thread of the gun head of the hand riveter extends into the nail body 1 and then is connected with the internal thread of the groove hole B3 of the tension part 7, then the tension part 7 is pulled to one side of the flanging A4 through the hand riveter, so that the middle part of the deformation part 6 expands outwards to form a petaloid flanging B12, and the sealing sleeve 9 at the position corresponding to the flanging B12 is attached to the airtight layer of the repaired tire 15; keeping for a period of time under the action of a rivet gun, so that the turnup B12 and the turnup A4 tightly clamp the sealing sleeve 9 at the corresponding position and the carcass layer 16 of the repaired tire, and further completely bonding the fixing glue B19 between the sealing sleeve 9 and the inner liner at the position corresponding to the turnup B12 and the fixing glue B19 between the sealing sleeve 9 and the primer layer at the position corresponding to the turnup A4; then separating the external thread of the gun head of the hand riveter from the internal thread of the groove hole B3 of the tension part 7 and then pulling out the nail body 1; then, filling the sealant 20 into the nail body, so that the strip-shaped through hole 11 of the deformation part 6 is filled with the sealant 20, thereby protecting and supporting the sealing sleeve 9 corresponding to the strip-shaped through hole 11 between two adjacent flaps of the flanging B12; and finally, coating fixing glue A on the surface of the external thread of the supporting bolt 13 matched with the internal thread of the slotted hole B3, and screwing and fixing the supporting bolt 13 and the internal thread of the slotted hole B3. After the fixing glue A is solidified, the repaired tire 15 is inflated to the rated tire pressure, and then the tire repairing operation can be completed.

The embodiment is also particularly suitable for repairing the side wall of the tire, because the carcass of the side wall has no supporting force, the deformed part provided with the strip-shaped through hole 11 has larger outer diameter of the turned-over edge B12 after being deformed by force, and the contact range of the bottom rubber layer and the airtight layer corresponding to the repaired tire 15 is increased, so that the connection strength and the connection effect of the nail body 1 and the repaired tire 15 are ensured.
