Technical Field

The present invention relates to a refrigerator and a water supply tank.

Background

In a refrigerator having an automatic ice making function, a water supply tank is provided in a refrigerating chamber, and ice is made by supplying water in the water supply tank to an ice making tray (for example, see patent document 1 below).

In such a refrigerator, the water supply tank is often placed on the bottom surface of the refrigerating chamber and is provided at a conspicuous position in the refrigerator, but the design of the water supply tank has not been considered so far.

Disclosure of Invention

The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object thereof is to provide a refrigerator which is convenient to use and has excellent design properties.

In one embodiment, a refrigerator includes a storage compartment, and a water supply tank for storing water and supplying water to an ice tray, the water supply tank including: a container body having an open upper surface, and a lid body for closing the upper surface of the container body, the container body comprising: the container includes a container wide portion provided on a front side, and a container narrow portion provided on a rear side of the container wide portion and narrower than the container wide portion in a width direction.

According to the above configuration, a refrigerator having excellent design can be provided.

Detailed Description

Next, a refrigerator 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. A machine chamber 24 is formed in a lower portion of a rear surface of the refrigerator main body 2, and the refrigerating cooler 20 and the freezing cooler 22 constitute a freezing cycle together with a compressor 25 and a condenser accommodated in the machine chamber 24, and the refrigerating cooler 20 and the freezing cooler 22 are cooled by a refrigerant discharged from the compressor 25.

(2) Storage container 14

As shown in fig. 2 and 3, the fresh food compartment is sandwiched between the vertical partition wall 13 and the right sidewall of the refrigerating compartment 6, and the storage container 14 stored in the fresh food compartment is: a substantially rectangular parallelepiped container having a front wall 14a, a rear wall, left and right side walls, and a bottom surface, and having an open upper surface.

The front wall 14a is provided at its upper end with: and a container protrusion 15 protruding forward and upward of the front wall 14 a. The front protrusion 40 is formed with: a sink grip 49 (see fig. 6) that opens downward between the sink front portion 46 and the front wall 36 a. The water tank grip portion 49 functions as a grip when the user inserts his or her finger from below and pulls out the water supply tank 30.

The water tank front surface portion 46 is inclined rearward as it goes upward, and as shown in fig. 3, the inclination angle thereof is substantially the same as the container front surface portion 16 constituting the front surface portion of the storage container 14. In the present embodiment, the water tank front surface portion 46 of the water supply tank 30 and the container front surface portion 16 of the storage container 14 are inclined rearward with a slight deviation from the vertical direction as they go upward.

Further, the sink front portion 46 is preferably provided with: the wall thickness becomes thicker as the upper side is more advanced. The lid flange portion 54 is: portions protruding outward from the lower end portions of the left and right side surfaces and the back surface of the lid narrow-width portion 53 are formed on the sides of the lid narrow-width portion 53: and a mounting recess 55 recessed inward in the width direction. The fixing member 51 is provided in the mounting recess 55.

Further, the lower surface of the lid flange portion 54 is provided with: and downwardly extending depending walls 56, 57. The vertically lower wall 57 is provided at a distance from the inside of the vertically lower wall 56, and extends longer to a position below the vertically lower wall 56.

When the lid main body 50 closes the upper surface opening of the container main body 36, the lid wide portion 52 and the lid narrow portion 53 protrude upward from the upper surface opening of the container main body 36, and the front surface 52a of the lid wide portion 52 and the back surface portion 41 of the front protruding portion 40 face each other in proximity. As the user rotates the fixing member 51 so as to bring the operation portion 60 close to the side wall 36c, the lid locking portion 59 is locked to the container locking portion 42 as shown in fig. 4 and 7, and the lid body 38 is fixed to the container body 36. In the state where the lid locking portion 59 is locked to the container locking portion 42 in this way, as shown in fig. 7 and 8, the fixing member 51 is preferably positioned: the rear of the container wide portion 37 is located at a position lateral to the container narrow portion 39, and the outer side surface of the fixing member 51 and the outer side surface of the container wide portion 37 overlap each other in the front-rear direction, or the outer side surface of the fixing member 51 is located at a position inward in the width direction of the container body 36 from the outer side surface of the container wide portion 37. That is, the fixing member 51 is preferably disposed behind the container wide portion 37, not projecting further outward in the width direction than the container wide portion 37.

When the engagement between the lid locking portion 59 of the fixing member 51 and the container locking portion 42 is released, the user rotates the operation portion 60 so as to separate from the side wall 36c, whereby the lid locking portion 59 is separated from the container locking portion 42, and the fixation of the lid body 38 to the container body 36 is released.

In the present embodiment, after the lid locking portion 59 is disengaged from the container locking portion 42, when the operating portion 60 is rotated upward so as to approach the side surface of the lid wide portion 53 as shown in fig. 9 and 10, the fixing member 51 is disposed behind the lid wide portion 52 and on the side of the lid narrow portion 53. In this case, the fixing member 51 is preferably disposed behind the cover width portion 52 so as not to protrude further outward in the width direction than the cover width portion 52.

As shown in fig. 2, when such a water supply tank 30 is stored in a water tank chamber sandwiched by the left side wall of the refrigerating chamber 6 and the longitudinal partition wall 13, the front surface portion of the water supply tank 30 and the front surface portion of the storage container 14 stored in the fresh food chamber overlap in the left-right direction (refrigerator width direction).

Specifically, as shown in fig. 3, when the water supply tank 30 and the storage container 14 are stored in the water tank compartment and the fresh food compartment, respectively, the front tank surface 46 of the water supply tank 30 and the front container surface 16 of the storage container 14 are kept at the same position in the front-rear direction, and the 1 st accentuation portion 46a provided on the front tank surface 46 of the water supply tank 30 and the 2 nd accentuation portion 16a provided on the front container surface 16 of the storage container 14 are kept at the same position in the front-rear direction.

Since the water tank front surface portion 46 of the water supply tank 30 has substantially the same inclination angle as the container front surface portion 16 of the storage container 14, the water tank front surface portion 46 of the water supply tank 30 and the container front surface portion 16 of the storage container 14 provided in the fresh food compartment overlap each other in the left-right direction.

In addition, since the lower end 46b and the upper end 46c of the 1 st accent portion 46a provided in the water supply tank 30 are provided: since the lower end 16b and the upper end 16c of the 2 nd emphasized portion 16a provided in the storage container 14 are aligned in the height direction, the 1 st emphasized portion 46a and the 2 nd emphasized portion 16a overlap each other in the left-right direction, and form a continuous pattern that is continuous in the left-right direction.

In the present embodiment as described above, the container body 36 of the water supply tank 30 includes: a container wide portion 37 provided on the front side, and a container narrow portion 39 provided on the rear side of the container wide portion 37. This makes it easy for the user to hold the container body 36 from the front, and even in a state where water is stored in the water supply tank 30, the water supply tank 30 can be easily kept horizontal, and the water supply tank 30 can be stored in the water tank chamber without overflowing the stored water. Further, when the water supply tank 30 is housed in the tank chamber, the container narrow-width portion 39 is hidden behind the container wide-width portion 37, so that it is not conspicuous when viewed from the front, and the design of the refrigerator can be improved.

Further, as in the present embodiment, when the lid locking portion 59 of the fixing member 51 is locked to the container locking portion 42 at the rear of the container wide portion 37, the fixing member 51 is hidden behind the container wide portion 37 when the water supply tank 30 is stored in the water tank chamber, and therefore, the appearance design of the refrigerator can be improved without being conspicuous when viewed from the front.

Further, as in the present embodiment, when the fixing member 51 is provided on the side of the cover narrow-width portion 53 provided on the rear side of the cover wide-width portion 52, the fixing member 51 does not protrude greatly from the side surface of the cover body 38, so that the appearance can be made simple and clear, and the design of the water supply tank 30 can be improved. In particular, when the rear end of the container wide portion 37 and the rear end of the cover wide portion 52 overlap in the vertical direction in a state where the cover 38 closes the upper surface opening of the container body 36, the feeling of unity between the container body 36 and the cover 38 can be increased, and the design of the water supply tank 30 can be further improved.

Further, the container body 36 includes, in front of the lid body 38: in the case of the front protrusion 40 protruding upward, when the water supply tank 30 is stored in the tank chamber, the cover 38 is hidden behind the front protrusion 40, so that it is not conspicuous when viewed from the front, and the design of the refrigerator can be improved.

Further, in a case where the upper surface front end 52b of the cover wide portion 52 is located at the same height position as the rear end 48a of the upper surface portion 48 of the front protrusion 40 in a state where the cover 38 closes the upper surface opening of the container body 36, the feeling of unity between the container body 36 and the cover 38 can be increased, and the design of the water supply tank 30 can be further improved.

In addition, when the width-directional length of the front end of the container wide portion 37 is equal to the width-directional length of the rear end of the front protruding portion 40 of the container body 36, the feeling of unity between the container body 36 and the lid body 38 can be increased, and the design of the water supply tank 30 can be further improved.

In the present embodiment, when the water tank front surface portion 46 constituting the front surface portion of the water supply tank 30 and the container front surface portion 16 constituting the front surface portion of the storage container 14 overlap each other in the left-right direction, the design of the water supply tank 30 and the storage container 14 is unified, and the design of the refrigerator can be improved.

In the present embodiment, when the 1 st emphasized portion 46a provided on the water supply tank 30 front surface portion 46 and the 2 nd emphasized portion 74a provided on the container front surface portion 74 of the storage container 14 overlap each other in the left-right direction, a continuous pattern continuous in the left-right direction is formed, and the feeling of unity in design between the water supply tank 30 and the storage container 14 can be emphasized, so that the design of the refrigerator can be further improved.
