The sharpener as claimed in claim 1, wherein said mounting portion has a limiting rib spaced from said at least one latch arm, said resilient arm having a recessed surface with a slot, said limiting rib extending into said slot to limit linear movement of said indicator button in said mounting portion.

The sharpener of any one of claims 1 to 8 wherein said sharpener includes two said sharpening seats, said two said sharpening seats being respectively connected to said base and spaced apart from each other, said trigger members of said two sharpening seats being respectively disposed opposite to said resilient arms, and said trigger member of each said sharpening seat being capable of urging said resilient arms to swing in the direction of the other said sharpening seat.

Background

Disclosure of Invention

In order to solve the problem that the sharpening prompting function fails due to the fact that a prompting button buckling part of the existing pencil sharpener is easy to wear, the pencil sharpener capable of prompting sharpening is provided, the problem is effectively improved through the fact that the buckling direction and the releasing direction are in a non-parallel direction, and the following is further explained.

Detailed Description

The technical means adopted by the invention to achieve the preset purpose are further described below by combining the accompanying drawings and the preferred embodiments of the invention.

The present invention is a pencil sharpener capable of prompting sharpening, and the preferred embodiment thereof is shown in fig. 1 to 3, and comprises a base 10, a prompting component 20 and at least one pencil sharpening seat 30 (or pencil sharpening seat 30A).

The base 10 is used to connect the indication component 20 and the at least one pen sharpening base 30 (or the pen sharpening base 30A), as shown in fig. 2, the base 10 includes two housings and a mounting hole 13, the two housings are a first housing 11 and a second housing 12 respectively, and the first housing 11 and the second housing 12 are respectively provided with at least one combining portion, in the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the at least one combining portion of the first housing 11 is a plurality of combining convex columns 111, the at least one combining portion of the second housing 12 is a plurality of combining grooves 121, the first housing 11 and the second housing 12 are connected by inserting the plurality of combining convex columns 111 into the plurality of combining grooves 121, and an accommodation space 14 is formed inside the first housing 11 and the second housing 12; the mounting hole 13 is formed through the sidewall of the base 10, in a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the mounting hole 13 is formed by connecting the first casing 11 and the second casing 12, in addition, the mounting hole 13 may also be formed through one of the casings (for example, the first casing 11 or the second casing 12), further, at least one fastener 131 is disposed on the inner sidewall of the mounting hole 13, in a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the mounting hole 13 is provided with two of the fasteners 131, and the two fasteners 131 are linearly opposite and disposed on the first casing 11 and the second casing 12, respectively.

Referring to fig. 2 to 5, the indication assembly 20 includes a mounting portion 21, an indication button 22 and an actuating unit 201, in the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the mounting portion 21 is disposed on the base 10, the mounting portion 21 is provided with an opening 211 and at least one latching arm 212, the opening 211 is formed on one side of the mounting portion 21, and the at least one latching arm 212 extends towards a side away from the opening 211. In the preferred embodiment, the mounting portion 21 is a separate component from the base 10 and is connected to the base 10; in addition, in other embodiments, the mounting portion 21 can be integrally formed with the base 10.

The indication button 22 is disposed in the mounting portion 21 through the opening 211 in a linearly movable manner, the indication button 22 is provided with a base portion 220 and an elastic arm 221, the base portion 220 is disposed in the mounting portion 21, and the elastic arm 221 extends from the base portion 220 in a direction away from the opening 211; the actuating unit 201 is disposed in the mounting portion 21 and pushes the base 220 of the reminder button 22 toward the opening 211, and the reminder button 22 is pushed by the actuating unit 201 during the movement toward the inside of the mounting portion 21, so as to provide a force for moving the reminder button 22 toward the opening for resetting through the actuating unit 201; as shown in fig. 4, the elastic arm 221 of the indication button 22 is engaged with the at least one latching arm 212 along an X direction, and the X direction is defined as an engaging direction of the elastic arm 221 and the at least one latching arm 212.

Further, as shown in fig. 4 and 5, a pivot point F is formed at a connection point of the elastic arm 221 and the base 220, the elastic arm 221 can swing along a Y direction relative to the pivot point F to disengage from the at least one latch arm 212, and the Y direction is defined as a trip direction in which the elastic arm 221 swings to disengage from the at least one latch arm 212; the Y direction and the X direction are non-parallel and form an included angle, so that the latching direction and the releasing direction of the elastic arm 221 and the at least one latching arm 212 are non-equidirectional, the releasing direction of the elastic arm 221 swing has a vertical component relatively perpendicular to the latching direction, and motion independence is generated, thereby avoiding the situation that the elastic arm 221 directly and transversely crosses the at least one latching arm 212 in the releasing process, and further preventing the latching part from being damaged. In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the included angle between the X direction and the Y direction is substantially 90 degrees, i.e. the X direction and the Y direction are perpendicular to each other.

As shown in fig. 3, the actuating unit 201 can be two compression springs, which are compressed to store elastic potential energy when the prompting button 22 is pressed to move toward the inside of the mounting portion 21, so as to provide an elastic restoring force, which can push the base portion 220 of the prompting button 22 toward the opening 211; the actuating unit 201 can also be at least one spring or other device capable of pushing the cue button 22 toward the opening 211.

Further, in the preferred embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 3 and 4, the mounting portion 21 is provided with two mounting fasteners 210 and two fastening arms 212, the two mounting fasteners 210 are protruded from two sides of the mounting portion 21, the mounting portion 21 is inserted into the mounting hole 13 of the base 10 and fastened with the two fasteners 131 of the mounting hole 13 through the two mounting fasteners 210, so as to fix the mounting portion 21; the two buckling arms 212 extend in parallel, and one end of each buckling arm 212 far away from the opening 211 is provided with a clamping convex block 213; the elastic arm 221 of the indication button 22 can move linearly between the two buckling arms 212 towards or away from the opening 211, and the elastic arm 221 is provided with two positioning shoulders 222, so that the two positioning shoulders 222 abut against the two buckling protrusions 213 to achieve the effect of buckling the elastic arm 221 and the two buckling arms 212.

Preferably, as shown in fig. 4 and 5, the mounting portion 21 may further include a limiting rib 214, and the limiting rib 214 is spaced apart from each of the latch arms 212; the surface of the elastic arm 221 of the prompt button 22 is correspondingly recessed with a sliding slot 223, and the limiting rib 214 extends into the sliding slot 223 to provide a limiting effect in the transverse direction (X direction) to limit the linear movement of the prompt button 22 in the mounting portion 21.

Referring to fig. 3 and 5, the at least one pencil sharpening base 30 is connected to the base 10, the first casing 11 and the second casing 12 of the base 10 are connected to each other, and the at least one pencil sharpening base 30 is clamped, the at least one pencil sharpening base 30 is provided with a tapered groove 31 and a trigger 32, the tapered groove 31 is formed inside the at least one pencil sharpening base 30, and a pencil 90 extends into the tapered groove 31, the trigger 32 is movably disposed between the tapered groove 31 and the elastic arm 221 of the indication component 20, the pencil 90 can abut against the trigger 32 after being sharpened in the tapered groove 31, so that the trigger 32 pushes the elastic arm 221 to swing away from the at least one latching arm 212, and after the elastic arm 221 disengages from the at least one latching arm 212, the indication button 22 is pushed by the actuating unit 201 toward the opening 211 and then pops out toward the outer side of the mounting portion 21, thereby alerting the user that the pencil 90 has been sharpened.

Further, the at least one pen sharpener 30 comprises a tool holder 33 and a blade 34, the tool holder 33 is connected to the base 10, and the trigger 32 is pivotally connected to the tool holder 33 and can be swingably disposed between the tapered slot 31 and the elastic arm 221; the blade 34 is locked on the tool holder 33, and the blade 34 and the tool holder 33 together form the tapered slot 31.

By the trigger 32 moving in a swinging manner, the friction force generated by the contact with other components and obstructing the propelling of the pencil 90 can be reduced, so that the trigger 32 can generate a better effect of triggering the prompt button 22 to pop up, so that the user does not need to strongly push the pencil 90, thereby avoiding the problem of broken sharpened tip during the pushing process and effectively avoiding excessive sharpening.

In other possible embodiments, the triggering member 32 can also be a slider sliding in the bottom of the tapered slot 31 and extending out of the tapered slot 31 to push the elastic arm 221, so that after the elastic arm 221 is separated from the at least one latching arm 212, the indication button 22 is ejected toward the outside of the mounting portion 21 to indicate to the user that the pencil 90 has been sharpened.

Still further, as shown in fig. 2, 3 and 6, the at least one pen sharpening base 30 is connected to the base 10 through a ratchet structure, the ratchet structure includes a plurality of ratchet teeth 101 and a plurality of pawls 351, wherein the plurality of ratchet teeth 101 are disposed on the inner periphery of the base 10 and respectively distributed on the inner periphery of the first casing 11 and the inner periphery of the second casing 12, the plurality of pawls 351 are protruded on the outer periphery of the tool holder 33 of the at least one pen sharpening base 30, and each pawl 351 is correspondingly engaged with one of the ratchet teeth 101.

As shown in fig. 3 and 5, the tool holder 33 includes a body 35 and a blade holder 36, wherein the body 35 is connected to the base 10 through the ratchet structure and clamped between the first housing 11 and the second housing 12, and the plurality of pawls 351 are protruded on an outer periphery of the body 35; the blade seat 36 is engaged with the body 35, the blade 34 is locked on the blade seat 36, and the blade 34 and the blade seat 36 together form the tapered groove 31.

Further, as shown in fig. 5, the body 35 of the tool holder 33 is provided with a pivot 352, and the trigger 32 is pivotally connected to the pivot 352 to swing between the tapered slot 31 and the elastic arm 221.

In addition, the main body 35 and the blade seat 36 can be formed as an integral component as shown in fig. 3A, and the blade seat 33 is provided with a pivot seat 37, the pivot seat 37 is connected with the integral component, the pivot seat 37 is provided with the pivot 371, so that the trigger 32 is pivoted with the pivot seat 37 and can swing relative to the pivot 371.

Preferably, as shown in fig. 2 and 7, in a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the pencil sharpener includes two pencil sharpening seats (i.e., a pencil sharpening seat 30 and a pencil sharpening seat 30A), the pencil sharpening seat 30 and the pencil sharpening seat 30A are respectively connected to the base 10 and spaced apart from each other, the trigger 32 of the pencil sharpening seat 30 and the trigger 32A of the pencil sharpening seat 30A are respectively disposed opposite to and abutted against the elastic arm 221 of the indication button 22, and the trigger 32 of the pencil sharpening seat 30 or the trigger 32A of the pencil sharpening seat 30A can push the elastic arm 221 to swing toward the pencil sharpening seat 30A or the pencil sharpening seat 30, so that the user can use the pencil sharpener bidirectionally, and can be informed when the pencil 90 is sharpened regardless of which pencil sharpening seat is used.

In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the trigger 32 of the pencil sharpening base 30 and the trigger 32A of the pencil sharpening base 30A are pivotally connected to the corresponding tool seats 33 respectively; in other possible embodiments, the trigger 32 of the pencil sharpening base 30 and the trigger 32A of the pencil sharpening base 30A may also be a swing-type trigger (pivotally connected to the corresponding tool seat 33) and a sliding-type trigger (sliding in the bottom of the corresponding tapered slot 31 and capable of pushing the elastic arm 221), respectively.

As shown in fig. 7, 8, 10 and 11, in the embodiment of the present invention with two pen sharpeners, in order to avoid that when any trigger (e.g. the trigger 32 or the trigger 32A) swings, the elastic arm 221 is abutted by the other trigger (e.g. the trigger 32A or the trigger 32A) and cannot swing to release, the length L of the clearance space 320 should be greater than or equal to the moving amount L1 (i.e. L ≧ L1) of the trigger along the swinging direction, which is enough to push the elastic arm 221 to release (disengage from the at least one latch arm 212), so that when a user uses only one of the pen sharpeners (e.g. the pen sharpeners 30 or the pen sharpeners 30A) at the same time, the elastic arm 221 can be surely pushed and can disengage from the latch position, so that the prompt button 22 pops up to prompt sharpening.
