The method according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the duration recommendation information for the first timer comprises at least one of: the suggested duration of the first timer, and the estimated duration required for the terminal device to reach the cell of the second network device.

The method according to any one of claims 1-3, further comprising: the first network device determines the duration suggestion information for the first timer according to at least one of the following: the moving speed of the terminal equipment, the moving direction of the terminal equipment and the quality of the serving cell signal currently reported by the terminal equipment.

The method according to any one of claims 1-4, further comprising: the first network device sends the updated duration suggestion information for the first timer to the second network device.

The method according to any of claims 1-5, wherein the handover command further comprises: a duration of a second timer configured for a portion of resources of a cell used to access the second network device.

The method of claim 6, wherein the portion of resources for accessing the cell of the second network device comprises: dedicated random access channel, RACH, resources.

The method of claim 7, wherein the dedicated RACH resource comprises a dedicated preamble.

The method of any of claims 1-8, wherein sending, by the first network device, the handover request to the second network device comprises:

the first network equipment sends the switching request to at least one second network equipment in the moving direction of the terminal equipment; or

The first network device sends the handover request to at least one second network device around the first network device.

A cell handover method, comprising:

the second network equipment receives a switching request sent by the first network equipment, wherein the switching request comprises at least one of the following items: condition switching indication information and duration suggestion information aiming at the first timer;

the second network equipment configures the duration of the first timer according to at least one of the condition switching indication information and the duration suggestion information aiming at the first timer;

the second network device sends a switching command to the first network device, the switching command includes configuration information for switching and a duration of the first timer, and the first timer is used for controlling an effective time of the configuration information in the switching command.

The method of claim 10, wherein the conditional handover indication information is used to indicate that the handover request is for conditional handover.

The method according to claim 10 or 11, wherein the duration recommendation information for the first timer comprises at least one of: the suggested duration of the first timer, and the estimated duration required for the terminal device to reach the cell of the second network device.

The method according to any one of claims 10-12, wherein the second network device configures the duration of the first timer according to at least one of the conditional switch indication information and the duration suggestion information for the first timer, and comprises:

when the switching request comprises the conditional switching indication information, the second network equipment determines that the switching request is used for conditional switching according to the conditional switching indication information, and configures the duration of the first timer used for conditional switching;

when the switching request comprises the duration suggestion information aiming at the first timer, the second network equipment configures the duration of the first timer according to the duration suggestion information aiming at the first timer;

when the switching request includes the conditional switching indication information and the duration suggestion information for the first timer, the second network device determines that the switching request is for conditional switching according to the conditional switching indication information, and configures the duration of the first timer according to the duration suggestion information for the first timer.

The method according to any one of claims 10-13, further comprising: the second network device receives the updated duration suggestion information for the first timer, which is sent by the first network device.

The method according to any one of claims 10-14, further comprising:

the second network device configuring a second timer for a partial resource of a cell for accessing the second network device;

the handover command sent by the second network device to the first network device further includes a duration of the second timer.

The method of claim 15, wherein configuring, by the second network device, a second timer for a portion of resources used to access a cell of the second network device comprises:

the second network device configures a second timer for dedicated random access channel, RACH, resources.

The method of claim 16, wherein configuring, by the second network device, a second timer for the dedicated RACH resource comprises:

the second network device configures a second timer for the dedicated preamble.

A cell handover method, comprising:

a terminal device receives a switching command sent by a first network device and a condition set by the first network device that the terminal device initiates switching to a second network device, wherein the switching command comprises configuration information used for switching and the duration of a first timer, and the first timer is used for controlling the effective time of the configuration information in the switching command;

the terminal equipment starts the first timer when receiving the switching command;

and when the first timer is not overtime and the condition for initiating the switching to the second network equipment is met, the terminal equipment initiates a process of accessing the cell of the second network equipment.

The method of claim 18, wherein the handover command further comprises: a duration of a second timer configured for a portion of resources of a cell used to access the second network device;

the method further comprises the following steps: and the terminal equipment starts the second timer when receiving the switching command.

The method of claim 19, wherein the portion of resources for accessing the cell of the second network device comprises: dedicated random access channel, RACH, resources.

The method of claim 20, wherein the dedicated RACH resource comprises a dedicated preamble.

The method according to claim 20 or 21, wherein the initiating, by the terminal device, a procedure for accessing the cell of the second network device when the first timer has not timed out and the condition for initiating the handover to the second network device is satisfied comprises:

when the first timer is not overtime, the condition for initiating the handover to the second network equipment is met, and the second timer is not overtime, the terminal equipment initiates random access to a cell of the second network equipment by using the special RACH resource;

and when the first timer is not overtime, the condition for initiating the handover to the second network equipment is met, and the second timer is overtime, the terminal equipment initiates random access to the cell of the second network equipment by using the public RACH resource.

The method of claim 22, further comprising: and when the first timer is not overtime, the terminal equipment retries to access the cell of the second network equipment, and when the second timer is overtime, the terminal equipment initiates random access to the cell by using the public RACH resource.

The method according to any one of claims 19-23, further comprising: and when the first timer is not overtime and the cells of a plurality of second network devices meet the condition of initiating the switching, the terminal device selects to initiate an access process to the cells of the second network devices of which the second timers are not overtime.

The method according to any one of claims 19-24, further comprising: when the first timer is not overtime and the cells of a plurality of second network devices meet the condition for initiating the switching, and when the terminal device retries to access one of the cells of the second network devices and the second timer of the cell of the second network device is overtime, the terminal device selects to initiate an access process to the cell of another second network device of which the second timer is not overtime.

A network device, comprising:

a sending unit, configured to send a handover request to a second network device, where the handover request includes at least one of the following: condition switching indication information and duration suggestion information aiming at the first timer;

a receiving unit, configured to receive a handover command sent by the second network device, where the handover command includes configuration information used for handover and a duration of the first timer, and the first timer is used to control an effective time of the configuration information in the handover command;

the sending unit is further configured to send the handover command to a terminal device, and a condition set by the network device for the terminal device to initiate handover to the second network device.

The network device of claim 26, wherein the conditional handover indication information is used to indicate that the handover request is for a conditional handover.

The network device according to claim 26 or 27, wherein the duration recommendation information for the first timer comprises at least one of: the suggested duration of the first timer, and the estimated duration required for the terminal device to reach the cell of the second network device.

The network device of any one of claims 26-28, wherein the network device further comprises: a processing unit configured to determine the duration suggestion information for the first timer according to at least one of: the moving speed of the terminal equipment, the moving direction of the terminal equipment and the quality of the serving cell signal currently reported by the terminal equipment.

The network device of any one of claims 26-29, wherein the transmitting unit is further configured to: sending the updated duration suggestion information for the first timer to the second network device.

The network device of any one of claims 26-30, wherein the handover command further comprises: a duration of a second timer configured for a portion of resources of a cell used to access the second network device.

The network device of claim 31, wherein the portion of resources for accessing the cell of the second network device comprises: dedicated random access channel, RACH, resources.

The network device of claim 32, wherein the dedicated RACH resource comprises a dedicated preamble.

The network device according to any of claims 26-33, wherein the sending unit is configured to:

sending the switching request to at least one second network device in the moving direction of the terminal device; or

Sending the handover request to at least one second network device around the network device.

A network device, comprising:

a receiving unit, configured to receive a handover request sent by a first network device, where the handover request includes at least one of the following: condition switching indication information and duration suggestion information aiming at the first timer;

a processing unit configured to configure a duration of the first timer according to at least one of the condition switching indication information and the duration suggestion information for the first timer;

a sending unit, configured to send a handover command to the first network device, where the handover command includes configuration information used for handover and a duration of the first timer, and the first timer is used to control an effective time of the configuration information in the handover command.

The network device of claim 35, wherein the conditional handover indication information is used to indicate that the handover request is for a conditional handover.

The network device according to claim 35 or 36, wherein the duration recommendation information for the first timer comprises at least one of: the duration of the proposed first timer, and the estimated duration required for the terminal device to reach the cell of the network device.

The network device of any one of claims 35-37, wherein the processing unit is configured to:

when the switching request comprises the condition switching indication information, determining that the switching request is used for condition switching according to the condition switching indication information, and configuring the duration of the first timer used for condition switching;

when the switching request comprises the duration suggestion information aiming at the first timer, configuring the duration of the first timer according to the duration suggestion information aiming at the first timer;

when the switching request comprises the condition switching indication information and the duration suggestion information aiming at the first timer, determining that the switching request is used for condition switching according to the condition switching indication information, and configuring the duration of the first timer according to the duration suggestion information aiming at the first timer.

The network device of any one of claims 35-38, wherein the receiving unit is further configured to: receiving the updated duration suggestion information for the first timer sent by the first network device.

The network device of any one of claims 35-39, wherein the processing unit is further configured to: configuring a second timer for a portion of resources of a cell for accessing the network device;

the handover command sent by the sending unit to the first network device further includes a duration of the second timer.

The network device of claim 40, wherein the portion of resources for accessing the cell of the network device comprises: dedicated random access channel, RACH, resources.

The network device of claim 41, wherein the dedicated RACH resource comprises a dedicated preamble.

A terminal device, comprising:

a receiving unit, configured to receive a handover command sent by a first network device and a condition that the terminal device initiates handover to a second network device, where the handover command includes configuration information used for handover and a duration of a first timer, and the first timer is used to control an effective time of the configuration information in the handover command;

and the processing unit is configured to start the first timer when receiving the handover command, and initiate a process of accessing the cell of the second network device when the first timer is not overtime and the condition for initiating handover to the second network device is met.

The terminal device according to claim 43, wherein the handover command further comprises: a duration of a second timer configured for a portion of resources of a cell used to access the second network device;

the processing unit is further configured to: starting the second timer when the receiving unit receives the handover command.

The terminal device of claim 44, wherein the portion of resources for accessing the cell of the second network device comprises: dedicated random access channel, RACH, resources.

The terminal device of claim 45, wherein the dedicated RACH resource comprises a dedicated preamble.

The terminal device according to claim 45 or 46, wherein the processing unit is configured to:

when the first timer is not overtime and the condition for initiating the handover to the second network equipment is met and the second timer is not overtime, initiating random access to a cell of the second network equipment by using the special RACH resource;

and when the first timer is not overtime, the condition for initiating the handover to the second network equipment is met, and the second timer is overtime, initiating random access to a cell of the second network equipment by using the public RACH resource.

The terminal device of claim 47, wherein the processing unit is further configured to: and when the first timer is not overtime, the terminal equipment retries to access the cell of the second network equipment, and the second timer is overtime, initiating random access to the cell by using the public RACH resource.

The terminal device of any one of claims 44-48, wherein the processing unit is further configured to: and when the first timer is not overtime and the cells of a plurality of second network devices meet the condition of initiating the switching, selecting to initiate an access process to the cells of the second network devices of which the second timers are not overtime.

The terminal device of any one of claims 44-49, wherein the processing unit is further configured to: and when the first timer is not overtime and the cells of a plurality of second network devices meet the condition of initiating the switching, and when the terminal device retries to access one of the cells of the second network devices and the second timer of the cell of the second network device is overtime, selecting to initiate an access process to the cell of another second network device of which the second timer is not overtime.
