Background

At present, a locking device is arranged on a shell of an optical module (SFP) in the optical communication industry, the locking device comprises a pull ring and a buckle piece, when the optical module is placed in a clamping cage, the optical module is fixed with the clamping cage through the locking device, when the optical module needs to be taken out, the optical module is separated from the clamping cage through the locking device, and then the optical module is taken out from the clamping cage, and the original locking device has the following defects: when the locking device is unlocked and the pull ring of the locking device is pulled outwards, the pull ring rotates to drive the buckling piece to make a crank arm move, so that a buckling point (a fastener) at the end part of the buckling piece inclines downwards; in addition, the optical module and the locking device are originally sent to a customer independently, and the customer needs to assemble and use the optical module and the locking device after receiving the optical module, so that the assembly difficulty is increased for the customer, and the workload is increased.

Disclosure of Invention

In order to solve the problems in the prior art, the invention provides an unlocking and locking device for an optical module, which comprises the following technical schemes:

In an embodiment of the present invention, an unlocking and locking device for an optical module is provided, which is used for locking the optical module on a card cage and disengaging the optical module from the card cage, and with reference to fig. 1, the optical module includes a base 1, the unlocking and locking device for the optical module includes a pull ring 2, a fastener 3, and a baffle 4 disposed on the base 1, an upper portion of the pull ring 2 is rotatably connected with an upper portion of the base 1 through a rotating shaft 7 (the rotating shaft is disposed on the base), the pull ring 2 is pulled, and the pull ring 2 rotates relative to the base 1 (i.e., moves in a direction away from the base or moves in a direction close to the base).

The specific structure of the fastener 3 is as follows: referring to fig. 6, 7 and 9, the fastening member 3 is disposed between the base 1 and the baffle 4, a first end of the fastening member 3 is connected to the upper portion of the pull ring 2 through a connecting shaft 31 thereon, a fastening member 32 protruding from an upper surface of the second end of the fastening member 3 is disposed at a second end of the fastening member 3, fixed shafts 33 are disposed at two sides of a middle portion of the fastening member 3, and the fastening member is engaged with a slot on the card cage.

The pull ring 2 has the following specific structure: referring to fig. 6, 7 and 8, the upper portion of the pull ring 2 is provided with a guide hole 6 which is matched with a connecting shaft 31 of the fastener 3, and one end of the guide hole 6 along the length direction is higher than the other end, namely, an included angle is kept between the axial direction of the guide hole 6 and the horizontal plane.

The specific structure of the baffle 4 is as follows: referring to fig. 1 and 2, a groove for accommodating the fastener 3 is formed in the base 1, a slot and an opening corresponding to the groove are formed in the baffle 4, and the inner contour shape of the groove corresponds to the outer contour shape of the fastener 3. When locking optical module and card cage, the baffle can restrict the great angle of buckle 3 perk upwards, just the fastener stretches out the trompil of baffle 4.

When the locking device is switched from the locking state to the unlocking state, the pull ring 2 rotates in a direction away from the base 1 (namely, the bottom of the pull ring 2 is away from the bottom of the base 1), so that the buckling piece 3 moves along the guide hole 6, and further the buckling piece 3 rotates around the fixed shaft 33 (the fixed shaft is a rotation center), so as to drive the fastener 32 to move downwards until the fastener 32 is separated from a fastening groove on the cage, and at the moment, the optical module can be taken out of the cage.

The guide hole 6 is specifically explained as follows along its length direction with one end higher than the other end: the guide hole 6 has a first end 61 and a second end 62 along the length direction thereof, the first end 61 of the guide hole 6 is closer to the second end of the latch 3 than the second end 62 thereof, the second end 62 of the guide hole 6 is closer to the first end of the latch 3, and when the unlocking and locking device for an optical module is in a locked state, referring to fig. 4, the first end 61 of the guide hole 6 is higher than the second end 62; when the unlocking and locking device for the optical module is in an unlocked state, the first end portion 61 of the guide hole 6 is lower than the second end portion 62, which are based on the horizontal plane of the base.

When the optical module and the card cage are locked, referring to fig. 1 to 7, the pull ring 2 is pulled to rotate towards the direction close to the base 1, in this process, the connecting shaft 31 at the first end of the fastener 3 moves along the guide hole 6, so that the first end 61 of the guide hole 6 is higher than the second end 62, referring to fig. 6 to 8, that is, a downward force is applied to the first end of the fastener 3, so that the second end of the fastener 3 moves upwards to the fastener to enter the card slot on the card cage, and the locking function is realized.

When the optical module and the card cage are unlocked, referring to fig. 10, 11 and 12, the pull ring 2 is pulled to rotate (upwards) in a direction away from the base 1, in this process, the connecting shaft 31 of the first end portion of the fastener 3 moves along the guide hole 6, so that the first end portion 61 of the guide hole 6 is lower than the second end portion 62 (based on the horizontal plane where the base is located), referring to fig. 4, that is, an upward force is applied to the first end portion of the fastener 3, so that the second end portion of the fastener 3 moves downwards, and the fastener is further separated from the card slot on the card cage, and thus, the unlocking function is realized.

When unblock or locking, the draw-in groove on the relative card cage of fastener reciprocates, does not interfere other parts, and not only accurate locking and unblock are simple, and convenient operation is just smooth and easy.

The guide hole 6 has a certain length, preferably a circular waist shape.

The buckle piece 3 comprises a body, connecting shafts are arranged on two sides of a first end portion of the body, fasteners are arranged on a second end portion of the body, fixing shafts are arranged on two sides of the middle of the body, and the body, the connecting shafts, the fasteners and the fixing shafts are of an integrated structure. The body is a structure narrowing from the first end part to the second end part, so that the size is reduced, the space is saved, and the material is saved.

Positioning salient points 5 are arranged on the left inner side wall and the right inner side wall of the pull ring 2, positioning grooves which are in one-to-one correspondence with the positioning salient points 5 and are matched with the positioning salient points 5 are arranged on the left outer side wall and the right outer side wall of the base, when the pull ring is locked, the pulling force is stable, and the positioning salient points 5 are accommodated in the corresponding positioning grooves to play a role in positioning and fixing; and realize the positioning at the side of the pull ring.

The baffle 4 and the base 1 are respectively provided with a mounting hole 41 which corresponds to each other and is matched with each other, and the baffle 4 and the base 1 are fixedly connected by mounting a fastener in the mounting hole 41. The mounting hole 41 is arranged on the front surface, namely the plane where the mounting hole is located is parallel to the upper surface of the pull ring, so that front assembly is realized, and assembly is convenient.

Baffle 4 is provided with the strengthening rib on the inside wall towards base 1, the strengthening rib sets up along the length direction of baffle, the preferred setting of strengthening rib is at the middle part, prevents that the baffle warp.

Two sides of the bottom surface of the baffle 4 far away from the pull ring 2 are attached to the upper surface of the base 1, and the design is closed without dispensing.

The pull ring 2 and the buckle are made of metal materials, such as copper or aluminum, and are firm and durable.

According to the unlocking and locking device for the optical module, the pull ring is pulled to rotate towards the direction close to the base, so that the fastener enters the clamping groove in the clamping cage, and the locking function is realized; through the pulling the draw-ring rotates to the direction far away from the base, so that the fastener is separated from the clamping groove on the clamping cage, and the unlocking function is realized.
