Technical Field

The invention belongs to the technical field of development and utilization of papermaking green chemicals, and particularly relates to a surface sizing auxiliary agent.

Background

Surface sizing is the process of applying an aqueous dispersion of one or more auxiliaries to the surface of paper or board by means of a special apparatus. This process can bring numerous benefits to the paper mill: (1) the retention rate of the surface sizing agent is close to 100 percent, and the use efficiency is high; (2) the sizing cost is low, when the internal sizing is limited, the sizing effect can be further improved, and the problems of paper strength reduction, paper machine station pollution, white water load increase and the like caused by the internal sizing agent are solved; (3) the paper can bring a plurality of special properties for subsequent processing technology and final products, such as solving the problem of hair and powder falling in the printing process, reducing paper broken ends, improving the water resistance, surface strength, physical strength, wear resistance and durability of the paper, reducing the difference of two sides of the paper and the like.

The natural polymer products represented by starch have the advantages of wide sources, low price, easy biodegradation and the like, and always occupy an important proportion in the market of surface sizing agents. However, natural starch has high viscosity and poor fluidity, is easy to gel, is easy to precipitate after being diluted by water, and is not suitable for surface sizing of paper.

In order to overcome the defects that the affinity of a starch surface sizing agent and fibers is poor and a film layer is easy to shrink and crack in a drying process, synthetic polymers such as PVA, PAM and the like are introduced firstly. The PVA mainly has two types of 1799 and 1788, and the coating weight is 1g/m2The IGT surface strength of the offset printing paper can reach 100 cm/s. When the PAM is used as a surface sizing agent, a large amount of acylamino is contained in the structure of the PAM, so that hydrogen bonds can be formed with hydroxyl in fibers, the strength of paper is improved, and the PAM is frequently used in the process of recycling secondary fibers for papermaking at present, particularly in corrugated box board paper and low-basis-weight newsprint paper. However, PVA is very expensive because it is difficult to dissolve, is used in large amounts, does not impart good water resistance to paper, and has a large effect on the gloss of printing inks.

The market needs to develop a surface adhesive auxiliary agent with strong comprehensive performance, safety and no toxicity.

Disclosure of Invention

In view of the problems in the prior art, an object of the present invention is to provide a surface sizing aid. The invention also provides a preparation method of the surface sizing auxiliary agent. The surface sizing auxiliary agent provided by the invention can improve physical indexes such as paper surface strength, ring crush strength and bursting strength, improves moisture regain resistance, reduces the phenomena of paper linting and powder falling and printing pasting, and improves printing quality.
