Technical Field

The invention belongs to the field of water-based ink, and particularly relates to a quick-drying water-based ink composition and a preparation method and application thereof.

Background

Polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) are major packaging materials, and are widely used in the field of packaging due to a series of advantages such as light weight, good chemical stability, and wide mechanical strength distribution. Meanwhile, PP and PE plastics have disadvantages such as poor light resistance, weather resistance and corrosion resistance, and have various defects on the surface after thermoplastic processing and insufficient performance in the field of packaging. Many plastics must be used after secondary processing. The processing is finished by coating or printing ink, so as to achieve the effects of improving the durability of products and beautifying and promoting. However, the PP and PE materials are nonpolar high polymer materials, the surface tension of the PP and PE materials is too small to be lower than 35 dynes, common water-based ink is difficult to wet on the surfaces of PE and PP, the printing effect is poor, and the printing requirements are difficult to meet. Although the solvent-based paint or the solvent-based ink has excellent performances such as adhesive force, flexibility, weather resistance, solvent resistance, wear resistance and the like, and can be used on the surface of plastic to improve the product performance, the solvent-based paint/ink containing aromatic compounds does not meet the requirement of environmental protection standard along with the improvement of the environmental protection requirement in recent years. Typical materials are difficult to wet and bond, resulting in poor adhesion. Therefore, it is difficult to use general water-based ink for printing plastics, and although the drying of the ink can be accelerated by heating, the film is not resistant to high temperature, and the application of the water-based ink which needs to be dried and solidified at high temperature is limited to a certain extent. Therefore, the development and application of the water-based ink for PP and PE are very challenging for the reasons described above.

The water-based ink composition comprises a water-based binder, a pigment, an auxiliary agent and the like, wherein the water-based binder plays a role in binding a substrate and the pigment and plays one of key materials in printing. However, the aqueous binders used at present have difficulty in dissolving in water and insufficient adhesion to PP and PE.
