Background

Firstly, in all rigidly connected pipeline systems, as the used materials in the pipeline systems are all rigid materials, the rigidly connected pipeline systems can deform when the pipelines expand with heat and contract with cold; when pressure changes occur in the pipeline system, the rigidly connected pipeline system can generate vibration, and the pipelines are rigidly connected, so that the vibration and deformation of the pipeline system caused by the vibration can be restricted, and cracks can be generated at the weakest position in the pipeline system for releasing energy, for example, the welded position can generate cracks to generate leakage;

secondly, because there is no gap between the pipes which are rigidly connected, a certain space is left by disassembling and replacing the sealing parts between the pipes or replacing the parts of the pipes, which can not operate the large-scale pipe system and the pipe system with good rigidity by deforming and leaving the gap, thus leading to the incapability of replacing; or only the pipeline system can be cut into a plurality of sections, and the pipeline system is connected after the sealing elements or the pipeline parts are replaced, so that the time and labor are wasted, and the disassembly, assembly and replacement of parts are inconvenient.

The invention has the beneficial effects that: the rigidly connected pipeline system generates vibration, shaking and deformation to enable the concave ball seat and the telescopic pipe to do telescopic motion so as to release energy, and the problem of leakage caused by cracks and cracks at the weak part of the pipeline system is solved;

The invention provides a universal expansion joint, comprising: the ball head connecting pipe 4 is rotatably and spirally connected with the concave ball seat 3;

an extension tube 2 is telescopically sleeved at the end of the concave ball seat 3 far away from the ball head connecting tube 4, and the extension tube 2 and the concave ball seat 3 can telescopically move;

the ball head connecting pipe 4, the concave ball seat 3 and the telescopic pipe 2 are provided with through holes communicated with each other at the middle parts, and an external flowing medium can flow out of the outside from the through hole of the telescopic pipe 2, the through hole of the concave ball seat 3 and the through hole of the ball head connecting pipe 4 sequentially.

The adjusting device comprises a set screw 14 screwed through the side wall of the telescopic pipe 2 through threads and a set nut 12 screwed with the set screw 14, a closed hole is formed in the contact end of the set screw 14 and the telescopic pipe 2, a compression spring 13 and a cylindrical pin 11 are installed in the closed hole, the cylindrical pin 11 on the top of the compression spring 13 is in contact with the telescopic pipe 2, and the telescopic sleeving force of the concave ball seat 3 and the telescopic pipe 2 is adjusted; the concave ball seat 3 is provided with an annular groove corresponding to the cylindrical pin 11, when the extension tube 2 extends to a certain length, the cylindrical pin 11 is clamped in the annular groove of the concave ball seat 3, and the extension tube cannot extend and retract any more, so that the extension tube 2 is prevented from extending beyond a certain range to cause the concave ball seat 3 to be disconnected with the extension tube 2 to generate leakage.

An annular groove is arranged on the periphery of the concave ball seat 3, which is in contact with the extension tube 2, a nylon check ring B15 and an O-shaped sealing ring B16 are arranged in the annular groove, and the two can do linear motion along the axial direction. The sealing is performed by an O-shaped sealing ring 16, and a nylon check ring 15 is added on the O-shaped sealing ring 16 to increase the durability and the sealing pressure. The nylon retainer ring prevents the O-ring 16 from being broken by being forced into the gap.
