When the wound measuring instrument is implemented, a color image can be shot through a camera of the mobile terminal 1, and the color of the wound of a patient can be automatically identified through the mobile terminal 1; the mobile terminal 1 controls the projection lens 3-2 to project a laser dot matrix or a laser grating to the wound position of a patient, meanwhile, a plurality of images are collected through the scanning lens 3-3, the collected images are transmitted to the mobile terminal 1 and displayed on the touch display screen of the mobile terminal 1, an operator can select the clearest image and draw the center line of the wound of the patient on the touch display screen of the mobile terminal 1, and the processor of the mobile terminal 1 can calculate the length of the center line drawn by the operator according to the point adjustment or the grating in the image, so that the size of the wound of the patient can be obtained.
