Background

Paper for painting is mainly classified into two categories: one is Chinese painting paper, and the other is Western painting paper. The Chinese painting paper includes Xuan paper, mulberry paper, paper for clamping river, etc., and the Western painting paper includes watercolor paper, oil painting paper, plate painting paper, etc. The watercolour drawing paper is a high-grade drawing paper specially used for drawing watercolour in the art. With the vigorous development of watercolor paintings in China, watercolor painting paper is widely applied. The watercolor paper is used as a bearing object of watercolor paintings, the paper characteristics of the watercolor paper play an important role in realizing various skills of watercolor paintings, and in order to meet the painting requirements of watercolor paintings, the watercolor paper needs to have the performances of water resistance, scratch resistance, color reducibility, water washing resistance and the like. The scratch resistance means that the paper surface should not have fuzzing phenomenon after the pencil is wiped by a rubber to form a picture; color reduction refers to the difference in color between the pigment when dry and when wet; the water washing resistance means that the pigment can be washed off by clear water to be used for redrawing after the pigment is required to be dried on the surface of the paper by the watercolor drawing paper.

The key performance of the watercolor drawing paper is mainly realized by a surface sizing process. Surface sizing is one of the most commonly used methods for improving paper performance in the paper industry, and can effectively improve the water resistance, dimensional stability, surface strength and other properties of paper. The surface sizing agents used commonly include starch, AKD, ASA, paraffin, styrene, PVA, CMC, gelatin, chitosan, wax emulsion, etc., and the effect of each surface sizing agent is different. For example, chinese patent CN107268316A describes a method for producing watercolor painting and calligraphy paper, which adopts starch for surface sizing, and can effectively improve the scratch resistance of watercolor painting paper, but has little improvement on other properties; chinese patent CN105970716A describes a method for making manual water color drawing paper, which uses gelatin, polypropylene glue or polyethylene glue for surface sizing, the gelatin surface sizing can effectively improve the scratch resistance and color reducibility of paper, but can affect the water resistance and water washing resistance of paper, and the polypropylene glue and polyethylene glue are difficult to directly perform surface sizing of paper.

In the prior art, each surface sizing agent has different action performance, and the currently disclosed method is difficult to simultaneously meet the requirements of all the performances of the watercolor drawing paper.

Disclosure of Invention

The surface sizing agent provided by the invention comprises a sizing agent and water, wherein the mass content of the sizing agent in the surface sizing agent is 2-8%, and preferably 3-6%.

In the invention, the glue comprises 100 parts of gelatin by weight.

Based on the weight parts of the gelatin, the gelatin agent comprises 0-10 parts of a cross-linking agent, preferably 3-6 parts, and particularly preferably 3 parts, 4 parts, 5 parts or 6 parts. The paper making material is sequentially pulped, mixed and manufactured to obtain the base paper. In the present invention, the papermaking material preferably comprises one or more of bleached softwood pulp, bleached bamboo pulp, bleached cotton pulp and bleached hemp pulp. In the present invention, when the papermaking material is a mixture of a plurality of materials, the present invention does not require the proportions of the components in the mixture to be any specific, and may be those known to those skilled in the art. In the invention, the dosage of the sizing liquid during surface sizing is preferably 3-15%, and more preferably 7-12%. In the invention, the amount of the sizing agent is calculated by the weight of the base paper, and specifically, the amount of the sizing agent on the surface of each base paper is preferably 3-15%.

According to the invention, after surface sizing, the paper after sizing is dried to obtain the watercolor drawing paper. In the invention, the drying is preferably carried out in a drying cylinder, and the drying temperature is preferably 95-110 ℃, and more preferably 100-105 ℃.

Example 2

(1) Pulping: adding 50% of bleached cotton pulp and 50% of bleached bamboo pulp into a tile power pulping machine for pulping, wherein the pulping concentration is 1.57%, and the pulping degree is 30 DEG SR;

(2) slurry preparation: sequentially adding 1% of a wet strength agent PAE (the effective content of the PAE is 11% based on the effective components of the wet strength agent), 1% of CS (calcium phosphate), 0.4% of a sizing agent AKD (the effective content of the AKD is 18% based on the effective components of the sizing agent), 10% of filler diatomite, and the addition amounts are relative to the amount of oven dry pulp;

(3) manufacturing paper: dehydrating and molding the prepared pulp by a cylinder paper machine, squeezing wet paper, and then drying to obtain base paper;

(4) surface sizing: carrying out surface sizing on the base paper in a dipping mode; the glue applying liquid consists of glue and water, wherein the glue applying liquid contains 6% of glue by mass, and the glue consists of 100 parts of gelatin, 4 parts of glutaraldehyde and 7 parts of acrylic fluorocarbon resin by mass; the amount of the sizing solution is 4 percent;

(5) and (3) drying: and drying the paper after glue application through a drying cylinder at the drying temperature of 105 ℃ to obtain the watercolor drawing paper.

(4) surface sizing: carrying out surface sizing on the base paper in a dipping mode; the glue applying liquid consists of 5% of glue and water, wherein the glue consists of 100 parts of gelatin, 6 parts of formaldehyde and 8 parts of styrene-acrylic emulsion (the effective content of the styrene-acrylic emulsion is 50%) in parts by mass; the amount of the sizing solution is 4 percent;

(5) and (3) drying: and drying the paper after glue application through a drying cylinder at the drying temperature of 105 ℃ to obtain the watercolor drawing paper.

(5) and (3) drying: and drying the paper after glue application through a drying cylinder at the drying temperature of 105 ℃ to obtain the watercolor drawing paper.

By adopting the detection method of the embodiment 1, the watercolor paper produced by the embodiment has the following technical indexes: quantitative determination of 300 + -5 g/m2Cobb water absorption of 20-25 g/m2Scratch resistance 19 times, water scrub resistance a, color reducibility c (ultramarine) 43, c (deep cadmium red) 52, c (lemon yellow) 58.

Comparative example

(1) Pulping: adding 100% bleached cotton pulp into a tile power pulping machine for pulping, wherein the pulping concentration is 1.57%, and the pulping degree is 35 DEG SR;

(2) slurry preparation: sequentially adding 1% of a wet strength agent PAE (the effective content of the PAE is 11% based on the effective components of the wet strength agent), 1% of CS (calcium phosphate), 0.4% of a sizing agent AKD (the effective content of the AKD is 18% based on the effective components of the sizing agent), 15% of a filler PCC (Poly-carbonate), and the addition amounts are relative to the amount of oven-dry pulp;

(3) manufacturing paper: dehydrating and molding the prepared pulp by a cylinder paper machine, squeezing wet paper, and then drying to obtain base paper;

(4) surface sizing: carrying out surface sizing on the base paper in a dipping mode; the glue applying liquid is gelatin and water, and the mass content of the gelatin is 4%; the amount of the sizing solution is 4 percent;

(5) and (3) drying: and drying the paper after glue application through a drying cylinder at the drying temperature of 105 ℃ to obtain the watercolor drawing paper.

By adopting the detection method of example 1, the watercolor paper produced by the comparative example has the following technical indexes: quantitative determination of 300 + -5 g/m2Cobb water absorption of 30-40 g/m2Scratch resistance 18 times, water scrub resistance C, color reducibility C (ultramarine) 43, C (deep cadmium red) 51, C (lemon yellow) 52. The gelatin is directly used for surface sizing, water-resistant modification is not carried out, and the water resistance and the water washing resistance of paper are poor.

It can be seen from the above examples and comparative examples that the surface sizing solution provided by the invention can simultaneously improve the water resistance, the scratch resistance, the color reducibility and the water washing resistance of the watercolor drawing paper, and produce the watercolor drawing paper with excellent performances.
