Background

An existing independent condensing drum dryer includes a heat pump system, a condensate tank for containing water condensed during a laundry drying process, and a water pump for pumping the water in the condensate tank to an outside of the dryer or a water storage box of the dryer.

In the prior art, because the clothes dryer can continuously produce condensed water in the operation process, when the water level in the condensed water tank reaches a preset value or the clothes dryer operates to a rated time, the water pump is started to continuously pump water for a long time. In the process, the water pump is in a continuous operation state, continuous negative pressure generated by continuous water pumping for a long time easily sucks air to cause water and vapor mixing, so that high noise is generated, and the user experience is poor.

Disclosure of Invention

In view of the above, the present invention is directed to a clothes treating apparatus and a control method thereof, so as to solve the problem that a water pump of a clothes dryer in the prior art is likely to cause water-vapor mixing and generate noise during water pumping.

Furthermore, the clothes treatment device comprises a heat pump system, a condensate water tank, a water pump and a central processing unit, wherein the water pump is communicated with the condensate water tank and used for pumping water in the condensate water tank to the outside of the clothes treatment device or a water storage box of the clothes treatment device, and the central processing unit is connected with the water pump and used for controlling the working state of the water pump.

Furthermore, a water level sensor is arranged in the condensate water tank, and the central processing unit is connected with the water level sensor and used for acquiring water level information in the condensate water tank in real time.

Compared with the prior art, the clothes treatment device and the control method thereof have the following advantages:

according to the clothes treatment device and the control method thereof, the water pump is enabled to run intermittently by reasonably controlling the opening or closing of the water pump in the water pumping process, the time for pumping air can be shortened in the water pumping process, meanwhile, after the water pumping is stopped, water which is not pumped in the water pumping pipe flows back to the condensate water tank, and the water pump can directly suck the water in the next water pumping process, so that the space for sucking air is reduced, namely the amount of sucked air can be reduced; therefore, the invention can simultaneously reduce the time for pumping air and the amount of air pumped by controlling the intermittent operation of the water pump, and can effectively reduce the occurrence of the water-vapor mixing phenomenon, so that the noise generated by the water-vapor mixing phenomenon can be effectively controlled in the water pumping process of the water pump, and the water pump can timely remind people of abnormal water level.

The inventive concepts of the present disclosure will be described hereinafter using terms commonly employed by those skilled in the art to convey the substance of their work to others skilled in the art. These inventive concepts may, however, be embodied in many different forms and should not be construed as limited to the embodiments set forth herein.

It should be noted that the embodiments and features of the embodiments may be combined with each other without conflict.

The present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the embodiments with reference to the attached drawings.

In the prior art, the clothes dryer can continuously generate condensed water in the operation process, and when the water level in the condensed water tank reaches a preset value or the clothes dryer operates to a rated time, the water pump is started to continuously pump water for a long time. In embodiment 1, for the clothes treatment apparatus having the water storage box, the condensed water is not directly discharged, but pumped into the water storage box, and if the water storage box is filled, the water level in the condensed water tank will rise all the time, which affects the water pumping process; or the water level in the condensate water tank continuously rises due to special conditions such as related part faults and the like, and the water pumping is influenced. Therefore, in consideration of the possible problems in the practical application process, the present embodiment further improves on the basis of embodiment 1, specifically as follows:

the water level sensor is arranged in the condensate water tank, and the central processing unit is connected with the water level sensor and used for acquiring water level information in the condensate water tank in real time.

Example 3

For the clothes treating apparatus with a water storage box, in this embodiment, based on embodiment 2, when the water level value a in the condensed water tank exceeds the preset water level a0, a specific implementation is proposed for step S5:

s52, the central processing unit judges whether the starting time t of the water pump is greater than a third rated time t 3; if yes, go to step S53; otherwise, returning to step S52;
