Technical Field

The invention relates to a thread cutting device of a sewing machine, in particular to a thread cutting device of a cylindrical sewing machine.

Background

There are many types of known sewing machines, which can be applied to sewing operations of different sewing materials, and one of them is a special sewing machine suitable for sewing shoes, bags or cylinders, which is called a cylinder type sewing machine.

In the new patent issued in taiwan (certificate number: M531960), an automatic thread cutting device for sewing machine is disclosed, comprising: a cutter mechanism, which is provided with a fixed cutter and a movable cutter, wherein the movable cutter is connected with a cutter shaft, and the cutter shaft is provided with a gear; a swing mechanism having a rotating shaft forming a swing center, wherein the rotating shaft is provided with a first swing arm and a second swing arm, the first swing arm is provided with a pressure arm and a propping arm, and the second swing arm is provided with a driving tooth engaged with the gear and can drive the cutter shaft to swing; a cam assembled on the lower shaft of the sewing machine and rotating synchronously with the lower shaft, wherein the cam is positioned on one side of the propping arm and is provided with a deflection curved surface; and the driver is provided with a mandrel which is movably telescopic towards the pressure arm, the mandrel can push the pressure arm to further drive the swinging mechanism to synchronously perform forward direction deflection, so that the pushing arm is contacted with the cam, and the deflection curved surface of the cam pushes the pushing arm again to further drive the swinging mechanism to synchronously perform return direction swinging to complete the thread cutting operation.

The thread cutting mechanism of the cylindrical sewing machine proposed in the issued taiwan new patent (certificate number: M522964) includes: a fixed blade and a movable blade, which are different from the prior art in that the fixed blade of the M522964 patent is fixedly installed on the inner bottom surface of the needle plate.

Disclosure of Invention

The invention mainly aims to provide a thread cutting device of a cylindrical sewing machine.

Based on solving the technical problem, the thread cutting device of the cylinder type sewing machine is arranged on a rotating shuttle cylinder and is positioned below a needle plate, and the rotating shuttle cylinder is provided with a rotating shuttle and a rotating shuttle transmission shaft for driving the rotating shuttle to rotate; the thread cutting device of the present invention comprises: a fixed knife, a spring plate, a tangent line transmission mechanism and a movable knife.

The fixed knife and the elastic sheet are fixedly arranged on a fixed knife holder, the fixed knife holder is fixedly arranged on a base on the top surface of the rotating shuttle column barrel, and the front end of the fixed knife is provided with a fixed knife edge part.

The front end of the elastic sheet extends to the lower part of the fixed knife and a gap is arranged between the front end of the elastic sheet and the fixed knife, and the side edge of the elastic sheet is provided with a wire supporting sheet.

The tangent line transmission mechanism comprises; the rotating shuttle driving mechanism comprises a shaft tube and a reciprocating driving mechanism, wherein the shaft tube is sleeved on the outer side of the rotating shuttle driving shaft in a coaxial relation, one end of the shaft tube is provided with a first gear, and the reciprocating driving mechanism can drive the shaft tube to do reciprocating rotation motion so as to conduct tangent motion.

The movable knife comprises a movable knife holder and a movable blade which are integrally formed, the movable knife holder is fixedly arranged at the tail end of a movable knife rotating arm, the head end of the movable knife rotating arm is provided with a rotating shaft, the rotating shaft is rotatably pivoted on the fixed knife holder and the base, and the rotating shaft is provided with a second gear which is meshed with the first gear.

The top surface of the movable blade is provided with a wire guide groove, the front end of the wire guide groove is provided with an opening for guiding a bottom line to enter the wire guide groove from the opening, the joint of the tail end of the wire guide groove and the top surface of the movable blade is provided with a movable blade part, a movable blade rotating arm drives a movable blade holder and a movable blade to reciprocate around a rotating shuttle between a preparation position and a tangent position outside the rotating shuttle, the movable blade at the tangent position is clamped between a fixed blade and an elastic sheet, the movable blade is driven to move towards the tangent position in the preparation position, the opening at the front end of the wire guide groove can guide the bottom line to enter the wire guide groove from the opening, and when the movable blade reaches the tangent position, the movable blade part can cut off the bottom line with the fixed blade part in a synergic mode.

One preferred embodiment of the reciprocating drive mechanism comprises: the cam is fixed on a main shaft of the cylindrical sewing machine, one end of the connecting rod is connected with a rocker arm of the shaft tube, the other end of the connecting rod is connected with the clutch, the clutch can be selectively moved to an acting position and a non-acting position, the clutch in the acting position is contacted with the cam, and the cam can drive the clutch and the connecting rod to generate reciprocating motion so as to drive the rocker arm through the connecting rod and further drive the shaft tube to rotate in a reciprocating mode.

As a preferred embodiment of the thread cutting apparatus of the cylinder type sewing machine of the present invention, wherein the driver may be any one of a push-pull type electromagnet and a pneumatic cylinder.

One preferred embodiment as a clutch comprises: the tail end of the cam rocker arm is rotatably connected with the machine body of the cylindrical sewing machine, the driver is connected with the cam rocker arm and used for selectively pushing one end of the cam rocker arm to an acting position and an inactive position, the head end of the cam rocker arm at the acting position can be contacted with the cam, the head end of the cam rocker arm at the inactive position does not act on the cam, and when the cam rocker arm does not act on a tangent line, the driver normally drives the cam rocker arm to stop at the inactive position.

As a preferred embodiment of the thread cutting apparatus for the cylinder type sewing machine according to the present invention, it comprises a positioning hook fixed to a positioning hook holder fixedly installed on the fixed cutter holder, the positioning hook being located outside the rotary hook.

The thread cutting device of the cylinder type sewing machine has the advantages of being easy to maintain and adjust, preventing the bottom thread from drooping, supporting and positioning the bottom thread and facilitating the bottom thread to be hooked by the rotating shuttle in the next sewing operation.

Other features and embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings.

Detailed Description

The positional relationship described in the following embodiments includes: the top, bottom, left and right, unless otherwise indicated, are based on the orientation of the elements in the drawings.

Referring first to fig. 1 to 3, there are shown an exploded view, a partially exploded view and a side view of a thread cutting device of a cylinder-type sewing machine according to an embodiment of the present invention.

The thread cutting device of the cylinder type sewing machine of the present invention is installed on a rotary shuttle cylinder 51 and located below a needle plate 55, the rotary shuttle cylinder 51 is provided with a rotary shuttle 52 (shown by dotted lines) and a rotary shuttle transmission shaft 53 (shown by dotted lines) for driving the rotary shuttle 52 to rotate, a bobbin thread L is built in the rotary shuttle 52 for supplying the bobbin thread L (see fig. 4 and 5) required for sewing operation; the thread cutting device of the present invention comprises: a fixed knife 10, a spring plate 20, a tangent line transmission mechanism and a movable knife 30.

The fixed knife 10 and the elastic sheet 20 are fixedly installed on a fixed knife seat 11, the fixed knife seat 11 is fixedly installed on a base 54 of the top surface of the rotating shuttle cylinder 51, the front end of the fixed knife 10 is provided with a fixed knife edge part 101, and the front end 21 of the elastic sheet 20 extends to the lower part of the fixed knife 10 and has a gap with the fixed knife 10.

The tangent line transmission mechanism comprises; a shaft tube 40 and a reciprocating driving mechanism 70, the shaft tube 40 is coaxially sleeved on the outer side of the rotating shuttle transmission shaft 53, one end of the shaft tube 40 is provided with a first gear 41, and the reciprocating driving mechanism 70 can drive the shaft tube 40 to do reciprocating motion for tangent motion.

The movable knife 30 comprises a movable knife holder 31 and a movable knife blade 32 which are integrally formed, the movable knife holder 31 is fixedly arranged at the tail end 331 of a movable knife rotating arm 33, the head end of the movable knife rotating arm 33 is provided with a rotating shaft 332, the rotating shaft 332 is rotatably pivoted on the fixed knife holder 11 and the base 54, and the rotating shaft 332 is provided with a second gear 35 and the first gear engagement 41.

The top surface of the movable blade 32 is provided with a wire guiding groove 321, the front end of the wire guiding groove 321 is provided with an opening 322 for guiding the bottom wire L (see fig. 4) to enter the wire guiding groove 321 through the opening 322, the joint of the end of the wire guiding groove 321 and the top surface of the movable blade 32 is provided with a movable blade portion 34, the movable knife rotating arm 33 drives the movable knife holder 31 and the movable blade 32 to reciprocate around the rotating shuttle 52 at the outer side of the rotating shuttle 52 between a ready position (see fig. 4) and a tangent position (see fig. 5), the movable blade 32 at the tangent position is clamped between the fixed knife 10 and the elastic sheet 20 (see fig. 5), the opening 322 at the front end of the wire guiding groove 321 can guide the bottom wire L to enter the wire guiding groove 321 through the opening 322 in the process that the movable blade 32 moves from the ready position to the tangent position, the movable blade portion 34 can cut the bottom wire in cooperation with the fixed knife portion 101, wherein the cross-sectional shapes of the fixed blade edge portion 101 and the movable blade edge portion 34 are both cutting surfaces having sharp edges.

The side edge of the elastic sheet 20 is provided with a thread supporting sheet 22 protruding upwards, when the movable blade 32 of the movable knife 30 moves to a tangent position, the side edge of the movable blade 32 passes by the thread supporting sheet 22 (see fig. 5), and the thread supporting sheet 22 is used for supporting and positioning the bottom thread L together with the elastic sheet 20 and the movable blade 32, preventing the bottom thread L from sagging, being hooked by the rotating shuttle 52 in the next sewing operation and having a function of adjusting the tension of the bottom thread L.

One preferred embodiment of the reciprocating drive mechanism 70 includes: a cam 72 fixed to a main shaft 71 of the cylinder type sewing machine, a clutch 80 and a connecting rod 73, wherein the main shaft 71 is further used for driving the rotating shuttle transmission shaft 53 to rotate, one end of the connecting rod 73 is connected with a rocker 42 (see fig. 3) of the shaft tube 40, the other end of the connecting rod 73 is connected with the clutch 80, the clutch 80 can be selectively moved to an acting position and a non-acting position, the clutch 80 in the acting position is contacted with the cam 72, and the cam 72 can drive the clutch 80 and the connecting rod 73 to reciprocate so as to drive the rocker 42 through the connecting rod 73, thereby driving the shaft tube 40 to rotate in a reciprocating manner.

Wherein the clutch 80 of the reciprocating drive mechanism 70 comprises: an actuator 81 and a cam rocker 82, the tail end 821 of the cam rocker 82 is rotatably connected with the machine body B of the cylindrical sewing machine, the actuator 81 is connected with the cam rocker 82 to selectively push the head end 822 of the cam rocker 82 to the active position and the inactive position, wherein the actuator 81 can be any one of a push-pull electromagnet and a pneumatic cylinder, the head end 822 of the cam rocker 82 in the active position can be contacted with the cam 72, in other words, the clutch 80 in the active position can keep the head end 822 of the cam rocker 82 and the cam 72 in a contact relationship, and the head end 822 of the cam rocker 82 in the inactive position is not contacted with the cam 72; therefore, when performing a thread cutting operation, the user can control the driver 81 to push the head end 822 of the cam rocker 82 to the acting position, so that the head end 822 of the cam rocker 82 and the cam 72 act, and the cam rocker 82 and the connecting rod 73 are driven by the cam 72, so as to drive the shaft tube 40, the movable swing arm 33 and the movable blade 32 to reciprocate between a standby position (see fig. 4) and a thread cutting position (see fig. 5), thereby achieving the thread cutting operation; on the contrary, when the tangent action is not performed, the driver 81 normally drives the cam rocker 82 to stay at the inactive position.

As a preferred embodiment of the thread cutting apparatus for the cylinder type sewing machine according to the present invention, there is provided a positioning hook 60, the positioning hook 60 is fixed to a positioning hook holder 61, the positioning hook holder 61 is fixedly installed on the fixed tool rest 11, the positioning hook 60 is located outside the rotary hook 52, and the positioning hook 60 is adapted to abut against the bobbin case of the rotary hook 52 to fix the thread take-out position of the lower thread L.
