1. An apparatus for managing vehicle items, comprising:

an input device configured to receive information about an item to which an ID tag is attached from a user;

a communicator configured to communicate with an ID tag attached to an article; and

a controller configured to manage the ID tag-attached article;

wherein the controller is configured to output a notification to a user indicating whether an item corresponding to the user context is disposed on the vehicle.

2. The apparatus for managing vehicle items of claim 1, wherein the controller is configured to: an item registration table is generated that stores at least one of an ID of the item, an item name, a measured reception intensity of the item at a reference position in the vehicle, and whether the item is seated on the vehicle.

3. The apparatus for managing vehicle items of claim 2, wherein the controller is configured to monitor whether each item is positioned on the vehicle via the communicator to update the item registry.

4. The apparatus for managing vehicle items of claim 1, wherein the controller is configured to: an article management table is generated in which articles to which ID tags are attached and which are registered by a user are classified by category.

5. The apparatus for managing vehicle items of claim 4, wherein the categories include time and destination of the vehicle.

6. The apparatus for managing vehicle items of claim 1, wherein the controller is configured to: when the destination of the vehicle is set, it is determined whether an article corresponding to the destination of the vehicle is placed on the vehicle, and a notification indicating an article not placed on the vehicle is output to the user.

The apparatus for managing vehicle items of claim 1, wherein the controller is configured to: when the vehicle is parked, in response to determining that the position of the item in the vehicle has changed, determining that the item has been stolen and providing a notification to the user's portable terminal that the item has been stolen.

14. A method for managing vehicle items, comprising:

receiving information about an ID tag attached item from a user through an input device;

communicating with an ID tag attached to an item through a communicator;

managing, by a controller, an article to which an ID tag is attached;

wherein managing the item includes providing a notification to the user as to whether the item corresponding to the user context is disposed on the vehicle.

15. The method of claim 14, wherein providing a notification as to whether an item is disposed on a vehicle comprises:

determining whether an item corresponding to a destination of the vehicle is disposed on the vehicle;

a notification is provided to a user indicating an item not disposed on the vehicle.

16. The method of claim 14, wherein managing the ID tag attached item further comprises:

determining a location of the item in the vehicle when a request for the location of the item in the vehicle is received from a portable terminal of a user;

a notification is provided to the portable terminal of the user about the determined position in the vehicle.

17. The method of claim 14, wherein managing the ID tag attached item further comprises:

determining a change in position of an item in the vehicle while the vehicle is parked;

determines that the item is stolen and provides a notification to the user's portable terminal that the item is stolen.

18. The method of claim 14, wherein managing the ID tag attached item further comprises:

individually managing fixed items whose positions in the vehicle are prohibited from being changed;

in response to determining that the position of the fixed item in the vehicle has changed, providing a notification to the user that the position of the fixed item has changed.

19. The method of claim 14, wherein providing a notification as to whether an item is disposed on a vehicle comprises:

receiving a setting of a destination of the vehicle from a portable terminal of a user;

determining whether an item corresponding to the destination is disposed on the vehicle;

the determined information is provided to a portable terminal of the user.

20. The method of claim 14, wherein the item comprises at least one of a personal item, an office product, a sporting product, and a leisure product.

Technical Field

The present invention relates to a technique for managing whether or not various items registered by a user are mounted on a vehicle.

Background

Typically, vehicles are used not only for commuting, but also for club activities (e.g., table tennis, soccer, swimming, etc.) and leisure activities (e.g., camping, fishing, etc.). In order for users to enjoy various club activities, suitable activity equipment (e.g., clothes, hats, shoes, rackets, etc.) and camping supplies (e.g., tents, tables, lounge chairs, hammocks, etc.) are required. Users often leave necessities at home while participating in a meeting, or often forget to carry some camping supplies while camping.

Therefore, there is a need for a technique to manage items (e.g., personal items, office supplies, sporting goods, leisure goods, etc.) registered by a user and notify the user whether an item corresponding to the user's situation is placed on a vehicle. As a conventional technique, there is a technique of issuing a warning to a user when the user drops a cellular phone in a vehicle, but the technique is limited to a cellular phone or the like, and there is a technical limitation in various items that are extended to the user, and a specific situation of the user is not considered.

The matters described in this background section are only intended to facilitate an understanding of the background of the invention and may include matters not yet known to those of ordinary skill in the art.

Disclosure of Invention

The present invention provides an apparatus and method for managing vehicle articles, which can register various articles (e.g., personal articles, office articles, sports articles, leisure articles, etc.) to which an ID tag is attached and which are provided by a user, and inform the user whether or not an article corresponding to the user's scene is mounted on a vehicle, thereby maximally improving the user's convenience in various activities related to the vehicle.

The technical problems solved by the inventive concept are not limited to the above-described problems, and any other technical problems not mentioned herein will be clearly understood by those skilled in the art to which the present invention pertains from the following description.

According to an aspect of the present invention, an apparatus for managing vehicle items may include: an input device configured to receive information about an ID tag attached item from a user; the communicator is configured to communicate with an ID tag attached to an item; the controller is configured to manage the ID tag-attached article. The controller may be configured to notify the user as to whether an item corresponding to the user's context is disposed on the vehicle.

The controller may be configured to: an item registration table is generated in which at least one of an ID of the item, an item name, a measured reception intensity of the item at a reference position in the vehicle, and whether the item is mounted on the vehicle is recorded. The controller may be configured to monitor, via the communicator, whether each item is positioned on the vehicle to update the item registry. Specifically, the category may include a time and a destination of the vehicle.

According to another aspect of the invention, a method for managing vehicle items may include: receiving information about an item to which an Identification (ID) tag is attached from a user through an input device; communicating, by a communicator, an ID tag attached to an item; the article to which the ID tag is attached is managed by a controller. Managing the item includes notifying the user whether the item corresponding to the user context is disposed on the vehicle.

The method may include: determining whether an item corresponding to a destination of the vehicle is disposed on the vehicle; the user is notified of information about an item not disposed on the vehicle. The above method may further comprise: identifying a location of an item in a vehicle when a request for the location of the item in the vehicle is received from a portable terminal of a user; the user's portable terminal is notified of the identified location in the vehicle.

The above method may further comprise: determining that a location of an item in the vehicle has changed while the vehicle is parked; determines that the item is stolen and provides a notification indicating that the item is stolen to the user's portable terminal. The above method may further comprise: individually managing fixed items whose positions in the vehicle are prohibited from being changed; when the position of the fixed item in the vehicle changes, the user is notified that the position of the fixed item has changed. In addition, the method may include: receiving a setting of a destination of the vehicle from a portable terminal of a user; grasping whether an article corresponding to a destination is set on a vehicle; the grasped information is provided to the portable terminal of the user.

Detailed Description

It should be understood that the term "vehicle" or "vehicular" or other similar terms as used herein include motor vehicles in general, such as passenger automobiles including Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs), buses, vans, various commercial vehicles, watercraft including various boats, ships, aircraft, and the like, and hybrid vehicles, electric vehicles, internal combustion engine vehicles, plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, hydrogen-powered vehicles, and other alternative fuel vehicles (e.g., fuels derived from non-fossil energy sources).

While the exemplary embodiments are described as using multiple units to perform the exemplary processes, it should be understood that the exemplary processes may also be performed by one or more modules. Further, it should be understood that the term controller/control unit refers to a hardware device that includes a memory and a processor, and is specifically programmed to perform the processes described herein. The memory is configured to store modules, and the processor is specifically configured to execute the modules to perform one or more processes described further below.

Furthermore, the control logic of the present invention may be embodied as a non-transitory computer readable medium on a computer readable medium, including executable program instructions executed by a processor, controller/controller unit, or the like. In describing components according to exemplary embodiments of the present invention, terms such as first, second, "A", "B", "a", "B", and the like may be used. Fig. 1 is a block configuration diagram illustrating an apparatus for managing vehicle items according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 1, an apparatus 100 for managing vehicle articles according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention may include a storage device 10, an input device 20, a display 30, a communicator 40, and a controller 50. Specifically, according to a scheme of implementing the apparatus 100 for managing vehicle articles according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, each component may be combined with each other to be implemented as one, and some components may be omitted.

With respect to each component, first, the storage device 10 may be configured to store various logic, algorithms, and programs required in the following processes: the user registers various items (e.g., personal items, office supplies, sporting goods, leisure goods, etc.) to which the ID tags are attached and notifies the user whether or not the items corresponding to the user's situation are mounted on the vehicle.

The storage device 10 may be configured to store an item registration table including an Identification (ID) of an item registered by a user, an item name, a reception intensity, a reference location in a vehicle, and the like. The item registry is shown in table 1 below.

In table 1, the reception strength represents the signal strength measured by the communicator 40 in a state where the ID tag 300 is located at a reference position in the vehicle. For example, when ID 0001 is located in the front seat, the reception intensity of ID 0001 measured by communicator 40 is-54 dBm. In addition, a column of "whether or not to settle" is a column indicating whether or not the registered item has settled, where "O" indicates that the item has settled, and "X" indicates that the item has not settled. Table 1 shows only some examples to aid understanding, and the number of items as a designer's choice does not affect the implementation.

In addition, the storage 10 may be configured to store an item management table in which items registered by the user are classified by category. Table 2 below is an example of an item management table.

In table 2, the destination indicates a destination set in a navigation system of the vehicle, and the time may include a time of business trip, meeting, and the like set by the user. The storage device 10 may include at least one of the following types of storage media: flash memory type, hard disk type, micro type, card type (e.g., Secure Digital (SD) card or extreme digital (XD) card) memory, etc., as well as Random Access Memory (RAM), static RAM (sram), Read Only Memory (ROM), programmable ROM (prom), electrically erasable prom (eeprom), magnetic memory (MRAM), magnetic disk and optical disk type memory.

As an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, a scheme in which the storage 10 stores both the item registration table and the item management table has been described, but another exemplary embodiment may be realized in a scheme in which: an item registration database for storing item registration tables and an item management database for storing item management tables are provided therein, respectively.

The input device 20 may be configured to register various items (e.g., personal items, office supplies, sporting goods, leisure goods, etc.) of the user to which the ID tag 300 is attached. In other words, the input device 20 may be configured to receive various information required to generate an item registration table and an item management table from a user. The input device 20 may be configured to receive an item name corresponding to the ID tag 300 from a user at the time of an operation of registering an item to which the ID tag 300 is attached. Specifically, the user should place the article to which the ID tag 300 is attached at a reference position in the vehicle. This is to record the reception intensity in the item registry.

The input device 20 may be configured to receive an item ID for each category from a user. In other words, the user may select an item ID for each category. In particular, the same item may be repeatedly included in different categories. The input device 20 may have a voice recognition function, and may be configured to receive the name of the article to which the ID tag 300 is attached by voice. For example, a message "where is swimming pack? ".

The display 30 may include a cluster panel of a vehicle, a host unit, a head-up display (HUD), etc., and may be configured to provide various information to a user. The display 30 may be configured to notify the user (e.g., provide notification to the user) that an item corresponding to the category is not positioned on the vehicle. For example, when the destination of the vehicle is set as a swimming pool and there is no swimming pack, the user may be notified of the situation. The display 30 may be configured to display the location of the item queried by the user as an icon.

As shown in fig. 2, the communicator 40 may include a mobile communication device 41, a wireless internet access device 42, and a short-range communication device 43, the mobile communication device 41 and the wireless internet access device 42 being configured to communicate with a portable terminal 200 of a user; the short range communication means 43 is configured to communicate with the ID tag 300. As shown in fig. 2, the mobile communication device 41 may be configured to transmit and receive data via a mobile communication network constructed according to a technical standard or communication scheme for mobile communication, such as global system for mobile communication (GSM), Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA), code division multiple access 2000(CDMA2000), enhanced voice data optimized or enhanced voice data only (EV-DO), wideband CDMA (wcdma), High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA), High Speed Uplink Packet Access (HSUPA), Long Term Evolution (LTE), Long Term Evolution Advanced (LTEA), and the like.

The wireless internet access device 42 may be configured to transmit and receive data via: wireless lan (wlan), wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi), Wi-Fi direct, Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA), wireless broadband (WiBro), Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX), High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA), High Speed Uplink Packet Access (HSUPA), Long Term Evolution (LTE), long term evolution advanced (LTE-a), and the like. The short-range communication means 43 may be by using bluetoothTMRadio Frequency Identification (RFID), infrared data association (IrDA), Ultra Wideband (UWB), ZigBee, Near Field Communication (NFC), and wireless USB technologies.

The short range communication device 43 may include a first antenna 431 and a second antenna 432, and the controller 50 may identify the location of the ID tag 300 in the vehicle using the first antenna 431 and the second antenna 432. The controller 50 may be configured to perform the overall operation of each component to perform the function corresponding thereto. The controller 50 may be implemented in the form of hardware or software, or may be implemented in a combination of hardware and software. The controller 50 may be implemented as a microprocessor, but is not limited thereto.

The controller 50 may be configured to operate the display 30 to inform the user of the location of the item in the vehicle, or to provide the user's portable terminal 200 with location information of the item in the vehicle via the mobile communication device 41 or the wireless internet access device 42 of the communicator 40. Specifically, for the convenience of the user, the position information of the article in the vehicle may be displayed on the image as shown in fig. 3.

In response to determining that the previously registered item is disposed on the vehicle, the controller 50 may be configured to operate the display 30 to output a message providing guidance to set a destination corresponding to the use of the item. For example, in response to determining that the swim pack is positioned on the vehicle, a message "do you set the destination as a swimming pool? ". The controller 50 may be configured to set a destination in conjunction with a navigation device provided in the vehicle. The controller 50 may be configured to edit the item registration table, the item management table, and the item location table in response to a request from the user's portable terminal 200. When the controller 50 receives a request for setting a destination of the vehicle from the user's portable terminal 200, the controller 50 may be configured to determine whether an article corresponding to the destination is mounted on the vehicle, and provide the determined information to the user's portable terminal 200. The apparatus for managing vehicle items according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention may be implemented in the form of a vehicle terminal, wherein the vehicle terminal may include a host unit.

Fig. 4 is a flowchart illustrating a method of managing vehicle items according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention. First, in step 401, the input device 20 is configured to receive information about an article to which an ID tag is attached from a user. Thereafter, in step 402, communicator 40 may be configured to communicate with an ID tag attached to an item.

Then, in step 403, the controller 50 is configured to manage the ID tag-attached article based on the communication result of the communicator 40. In other words, the controller 50 may be configured to provide a notification indicating whether an item corresponding to the user context is positioned on the vehicle. For example, when a destination is set in a navigation device of a vehicle, the controller 50 may be configured to determine whether an article corresponding to the destination is mounted on the vehicle, and provide information on any article not mounted on the vehicle to the user.

According to the apparatus and method for managing vehicle articles of the present invention, it is possible to register various articles (e.g., personal articles, office articles, sporting articles, leisure articles, etc.) to which an ID tag is attached and which are provided by a user, and to inform the user whether an article corresponding to the user's scene is mounted on the vehicle, thereby maximally improving the user's convenience in various activities related to the vehicle.

The above description is a simple example of the technical spirit of the present invention, and various modifications and alterations may be made to the present invention by those skilled in the art to which the present invention pertains without departing from the essential characteristics of the present invention. Therefore, the disclosed exemplary embodiments of the present invention do not limit the technical spirit of the present invention, but are exemplary, and the scope of the technical spirit of the present invention is not limited by the exemplary embodiments of the present invention. The scope of the invention should be construed by claims, and it should be understood that all technical spirit within the equivalent scope falls within the scope of the invention.
