A method of communication, comprising:

a terminal device receives resource information of a first frequency band sent by a base station, wherein the first frequency band comprises a first carrier set and a second carrier set, the resource information of the first frequency band comprises a carrier identifier in the first carrier set and/or a carrier identifier in the second carrier set, wherein the carrier in the first carrier set can be used for the terminal device to communicate with the base station, and the carrier in the second carrier set cannot be used for the terminal device to communicate with the base station;

and the terminal equipment determines the carrier wave communicated with the base station from the first carrier wave set according to the resource information of the first frequency band.
