In addition to being processed into various fermentation products (alcohol, monosodium glutamate, citric acid, lysine, yeast and the like), cane molasses is also used for producing antibiotics, riboflavin, caramel pigment and the like, and is also commonly used as a feed additive or directly used for cultivation. In recent years, molasses is also developed and utilized as an auxiliary raw material in the building material industry and the steelmaking industry, and the molasses is mainly applied to grinding aids, lignin, water reducers and calcium saccharified because of more impurities such as ash, colloidal substances and the like, more harmful microorganisms and easy fermentation due to heat.

The molasses is a sugar-making by-product, is low in cost and sufficient in supply, and when the molasses is used as a grinding aid, electricity is saved by 17-20%, the strength of cement at each age is improved, the workability of the cement is improved, the setting time is adjusted, grinding particles are uniform, and the problem of grinding aid of slag cement existing for a long time is solved.

However, as an inexpensive sugar-making by-product, there are also the following disadvantages in use:

the molasses has high viscosity and is difficult to flow in winter, when the component content is high, the molasses is difficult to directly enter a grinding aid production kettle through a pipeline, and the molasses can be added into a reaction kettle through a container after being transferred from the container;

because the sugar-making byproduct has low utilization value and is not subjected to any filtration during shipment, the sugar-making byproduct contains more impurities and insoluble substances, and is easy to cause: the motor rotor is damaged, and obvious precipitation and floating impurities appear in the grinding aid product.

After the product with high molasses content is used, a thicker insoluble precipitate layer is easily formed at the bottom of the storage tank, so that a supplier needs to artificially clean the storage tank of a customer at irregular intervals, and large funds and manpower are consumed.

Because of different raw material fluctuations of the sugar manufacturing process, the molasses produced by the same manufacturer has larger content fluctuation, and products produced by the same manufacturer often have unstable quality and are adjusted, so that the grinding-aid use effect of cement manufacturers is directly influenced.
