Technical Field
The present application relates to the field of display technologies, and in particular, to a method for controlling a web page cursor by a remote controller and a display device.
Background
At present, browsers are basically built in smart televisions in the market, and browsing webpages through the television browsers becomes a choice of users. Since the television is operated using the remote control, the user will also typically prefer to continue using the remote control to control the browsing of web pages while browsing web pages using the television browser.
Since most web pages only support the mouse control mode and do not support the keyboard control mode, the key operation of the remote controller is usually simulated as the mouse movement operation to realize the web page control. For example, the up, down, left, and right direction keys of the remote controller are mapped to the up, down, left, and right movements of the mouse, and the OK key of the remote controller is mapped to the left click event of the mouse. Because the actual remote controller operation mode is different from the actual mouse operation mode, the user can operate the cursor of the webpage through the remote controller, and the operation is very complicated and not humanized. There are currently three major problems:
1: it is difficult for the user to find the location of the cursor.
2: the user is very cumbersome to operate the cursor using the remote controller.
3: it is very cumbersome for the user to scroll the web page using the direction keys of the remote controller.

The application layer, the application programs built in the system and the non-system-level application programs belong to the application layer and are responsible for direct interaction with users. The application layer may include a plurality of applications such as NETFLIX applications, setup applications, media center applications, and the like. These applications may be implemented as Web applications that execute based on a WebKit engine, and in particular may be developed and executed based on HTML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and JavaScript.
Here, HTML, which is called HyperText Markup Language (HyperText Markup Language), is a standard Markup Language for creating web pages, and describes the web pages by Markup tags, where the HTML tags are used to describe characters, graphics, animation, sound, tables, links, etc., and a browser reads an HTML document, interprets the content of the tags in the document, and displays the content in the form of web pages.
CSS, known as Cascading Style Sheets (Cascading Style Sheets), is a computer language used to represent the Style of HTML documents, and may be used to define Style structures, such as fonts, colors, locations, etc. The CSS style can be directly stored in the HTML webpage or a separate style file, so that the style in the webpage can be controlled.
JavaScript, a language applied to Web page programming, can be inserted into an HTML page and interpreted and executed by a browser. The interaction logic of the Web application is realized by JavaScript. The JavaScript can package a JavaScript extension interface through a browser, realize the communication with the kernel layer,
the middleware layer may provide some standardized interfaces to support the operation of various environments and systems. For example, the middleware layer may be implemented as multimedia and hypermedia information coding experts group (MHEG) middleware related to data broadcasting, DLNA middleware which is middleware related to communication with an external device, middleware which provides a browser environment in which each application program in the display device operates, and the like.
The kernel layer provides core system services, such as: file management, memory management, process management, network management, system security authority management and the like. The kernel layer may be implemented as a kernel based on various operating systems, for example, a kernel based on the Linux operating system.
The kernel layer also provides communication between system software and hardware, and provides device driver services for various hardware, such as: provide display driver for the display, provide camera driver for the camera, provide button driver for the remote controller, provide wiFi driver for the WIFI module, provide audio driver for audio output interface, provide power management drive for Power Management (PM) module etc..

In some embodiments, a browser module is built into most televisions for browsing web pages on the television. Browsing web pages through a television browser is therefore also an option for users. Since the television is operated using the remote control, the user will also typically prefer to continue using the remote control to control the browsing of web pages while browsing web pages using the television browser.

Because the actual remote controller operation mode is different from the actual mouse operation mode, when a user operates the cursor of the webpage through the remote controller, the operation process is very complicated and is not humanized enough. The specific problems are as follows:
problem 1: it is difficult for the user to find the location of the cursor.
The active range of the mouse cursor is typically the range of the entire web page display interface. However, since the television screen is much larger than the computer screen, the position of the cursor on the television screen is difficult to find by the user. Especially, when the cursor moves to the bottom of the screen, the cursor pattern is hidden outside the bottom of the screen, which causes that the user is difficult to locate and find, and the user needs to repeatedly and tentatively press the direction keys of the remote controller to move the cursor to find the specific position of the cursor.
Problem 2: the process of the user operating the cursor using the remote controller is very cumbersome.
When the direction key of the remote controller simulates the movement of a mouse, the cursor can only move a small fixed distance by pressing the direction key once, and the cursor is moved to a target position by continuously pressing the direction key for many times. When a user uses the remote controller to control the cursor to move in the full screen range, the moving range is too wide, and the number of times that the user needs to press the direction keys of the remote controller is too many, so that the user feels that the operation is very complicated.
Problem 3: the operation is very cumbersome when the user scrolls the web page using the direction keys of the remote controller.
When the user uses the direction keys of the remote controller to scroll the web page, the user generally presses the down key or the up key of the remote controller, so that the cursor moves to the bottom or the top of the web page display screen first. The user then continues to press the down or up button of the remote control to scroll the web page.
Before triggering the webpage scrolling operation, a user must continuously press the direction key of the remote controller for multiple times to move the cursor to the top or the bottom of the webpage display screen, if the current cursor position is close to the bottom, but the user wants to move the cursor to the top to trigger the webpage scrolling operation, the user needs to click the up button for multiple times to move the cursor of the mouse to the top, so that the scrolling operation is triggered, and the operation is very complicated.
Moreover, after the web page is scrolled, if the user needs to click the web page element located in the middle area of the screen next time, the cursor needs to be moved back to the center of the screen again from the bottom or top of the screen, which is also tedious.
In view of the above-mentioned problems, the present application provides a method and a display device for controlling a web page cursor by a remote controller, which can reduce the normal moving range of the cursor, make it easier for a user to locate the cursor position, and can scroll a web page without moving the cursor to the bottom or top of a web page display screen when the web page is controlled by using up and down direction keys of the remote controller. The method and the device can reduce the frequency of pressing the direction keys of the remote controller when a user presses the webpage, and can reduce the reset operation frequency of the cursor after moving to the bottom or the top of the screen, thereby greatly improving the user experience when browsing the webpage through the remote controller.
See the following examples for specific embodiments.
In a first embodiment, the present application provides a display device, and in particular, some components in the display device may further specifically perform the following operations:
a display;
the network module is used for downloading the webpage file;
a browser module to:
and displaying the webpage in a webpage display area in the browser window based on the webpage file.
In the present embodiment, a web page file (e.g., HTML file) is composed of many different types of web page elements, and these web page elements form a DOM (Document Object Model) tree according to a certain nesting relationship. Each element is a node on the DOM tree. The browser module of the display device can analyze the webpage file to obtain a DOM tree of the complete element corresponding to the webpage file. The current web page is then displayed based on the DOM tree of the complete element.
Monitoring a remote controller direction key event, acquiring a remote controller key value from the remote controller direction key event, and determining a remote controller direction key corresponding to the remote controller key value. The browser module can acquire a corresponding relation between a remote controller key value and a remote controller direction key which are locally stored in the display equipment, further acquire a remote controller direction key corresponding to the remote controller key value from the corresponding relation, and determine the direction indicated by the direction key.
In this embodiment, the situation when the direction key of the remote controller is triggered when the user browses a web page through a browser is mainly addressed.
In a first case, when it is determined that the remote controller direction key corresponds to a downward direction, the method comprises:
the browser module may determine a position of a cursor in a browser window. The cursor position is a coordinate position of the cursor in the browser, specifically a coordinate position of a vertex of an arrow of the cursor. The browser window is characterized in that the top of the browser window is a status bar, a webpage display area is arranged below the browser window, the webpage display area is longitudinally divided into three areas in advance, the status bar, a first area, a second area and a third area are sequentially arranged from top to bottom, the webpage display area is longitudinally divided into four areas in advance, the upper edge of the status bar is located at the upper edge of a browser interface, and the lower edge of the third area is located at the lower edge of the browser interface.
Currently, a television browser window usually displays a web page in full screen, the screen area is basically divided into two parts, and the upper part is a status bar of the browser. The lower part is the web page display area. The status bar of the browser can be set to an automatically hidden or un-hidden state, and the default is an un-hidden state. The range of movement of the cursor is typically the entire display screen range, including the status bar and web page display area of the browser.
In an example, the web page display area may be divided into an upper area, a middle area and a lower area, which correspond to the first area, the second area and the third area, respectively, as shown in fig. 2, the first area, the second area and the third area are arranged from top to bottom, no gap exists between two adjacent areas, and the left edge and the right edge of each area overlap with the left edge and the right edge of the screen. The space occupation ratios of the three areas can be adjusted according to specific conditions, and the space occupation ratios of the three areas are not limited in the application. When the user opens the webpage, the default position of the cursor may be at the upper left corner of the first region of the cursor, may be at the upper left corner of the second region, or may be at another reasonable position, and the present application is not limited specifically.
Based on the above area division, the position of the cursor can be determined as the following 4 results:
1) and when the cursor is determined to be positioned in the status bar, moving the cursor downwards by one step length. The step value of cursor movement is a fixed value, a default value can be set when the cursor leaves a factory, and the step value can be modified when the cursor is used according to user requirements.
As shown in the left display in fig. 3A, when the cursor is located in the status bar of the browser, if the user presses the down button of the remote controller, the cursor may be moved down by one step, and after the movement, the cursor position is as shown in the right display in fig. 3A, where the cursor is moved vertically downward by a distance compared to the cursor of the left display. The cursor moved down may be in the status bar or moved out of the status bar into the first area.
2) When the cursor is determined to be located in the first area, moving the cursor downwards by one step length;
as shown in the left display of fig. 3B, when the cursor is located in the first area, if the user presses the down button of the remote controller, the cursor may be moved down by one step, and after the movement, the cursor position is as shown in the right display of fig. 3B, where the cursor is moved vertically down by a distance compared to the cursor of the left display. The cursor moved down can be in the first area, and can also move out of the first area and enter the second area.
3) When the cursor is located in a second area, firstly, judging whether the cursor crosses the second area after moving downwards by a step length, specifically, judging whether the distance of the step length is greater than the vertical distance from the cursor to the lower edge of the second area, and if so, determining that the cursor crosses the second area after moving downwards by a step length; if not, determining that the cursor does not cross the second area after moving downwards by one step length.
And if the cursor is determined to move downwards by one step and then cross the lower edge of the second area, judging whether the bottom of the current webpage is not completely displayed.
And if the bottom of the current webpage is not completely displayed, the cursor is not moved, and an upward rolling operation is executed, wherein the upward rolling operation is used for rolling the current webpage in the webpage display area for a preset distance, updating the webpage content in the webpage display area and keeping the status bar unchanged.
It should be noted that the preset distance may be a preset distance, which is not greater than the distance from the upper edge to the lower edge of the second area, and in an example, the preset distance may be the same as the step length of the cursor movement.
As shown in the left display in fig. 3C, where the first, second, and third regions display content 1, content 2, and content 3 of the web page, respectively. When the cursor is located in the second area and the vertical distance between the cursor and the lower edge of the second area is less than a step length (for example, the step length is equal to the height of the cursor itself, the cursor may be located at a position less than the height of the cursor from the lower edge of the second area, or the cursor is located just above the lower edge of the second area), if the user presses the down button of the remote controller, the cursor is not moved, but the scroll operation is performed upwards, after the web page is scrolled, as shown in the right display in fig. 3C, the third area displays a part of the content 3, and new content appears at the bottom thereof, such as content N, the original content 1 to the content 3 will move upwards by a preset distance (for example, the step length of the mouse cursor), as shown by the dotted line of the right display, the second area displays a part of the content 2 and a part of the content 3, the first area displays a part of the content 2, the cursor position does not change. Thereby realizing the effect of scrolling the display content of the webpage upwards. Because the cursor needs to be moved to the bottom of the webpage when the webpage is controlled to roll in the existing scheme, the webpage can be rolled only when the cursor is about to reach the lower edge of the second area, the distance that the cursor needs to move is reduced, and the operation times that a user presses down keys of a remote controller are equivalently reduced.
For example, assuming that the ordinate of the lower edge of the second area is 10, the cursor moving step is 3, and the coordinate of the cursor is based on the top left arrow vertex of the cursor.
Assuming that the coordinates before the cursor is moved are (5,7), if the cursor is moved one step down, the (5,10) coordinates will be reached, which belongs to reaching the lower edge without crossing the lower edge, so the cursor needs to be moved down.
Assuming that the coordinates before the cursor is moved are (5,6), if the cursor is moved down by one step, the coordinates of (5,9) will be reached, which is that the lower edge is not reached and the cursor needs to be moved down.
Assuming that the coordinates before the cursor is moved are (5,8), if the cursor is moved down by one step, the coordinates of (5,11) will be reached, which belongs to crossing the lower edge, and the cursor will not be moved, and the web page display content will be scrolled instead. And if the complete content is displayed at the bottom of the current webpage and the webpage display content cannot be scrolled, the cursor is still moved downwards by one step length.
And if the display at the bottom of the current webpage is complete, moving the cursor downwards by one step length.
As shown in the left display in fig. 3D, when the cursor is located in the second area and the vertical distance between the cursor and the lower edge of the second area is less than one step (for example, the step is equal to the height of the cursor itself, the cursor may be located at a position less than the height of the cursor from the lower edge of the second area, or the cursor is located at the lower edge of the second area), if the user presses the down button of the remote controller, since the bottom of the web page is already displayed completely, the web page will not be scrolled, but the cursor is moved down by one step, and after the movement, the cursor position is as shown in the right display in fig. 3D, where the cursor is vertically moved down by a distance relative to the cursor of the left display, and the cursor after the movement is in the third area.
And if the cursor is determined not to cross the lower edge of the second area after moving downwards by one step, moving the cursor downwards by one step.
As shown in the left display of fig. 3E, when the cursor is located in the second area, if the user presses the down button of the remote controller, the cursor may be moved down by one step, and after the movement, the cursor position is as shown in the right display of fig. 3E, where the cursor is moved vertically downward by a distance than the cursor of the left display. The cursor after the move-down is also within the second region.
4) And when the cursor is determined to be positioned in the third area, judging whether the cursor is already positioned at the lower edge of the third area.
And if so, not moving the cursor. Because in the existing scheme, the cursor can be hidden when the cursor is at the bottom of the screen, and the cursor of the application can not be hidden, thereby being convenient for a user to position the cursor.
And if not, moving the cursor downwards by one step length.
As shown in the left display in fig. 3F, when the cursor is located in the third area, if the user presses the down button of the remote control and the cursor has not reached the lower edge of the third area, the cursor may be moved downward by one step, and after the movement, the cursor position is as shown in the right display in fig. 3F, where the cursor is moved downward by a distance vertically as compared with the cursor on the left display. The cursor after the downward movement is also within the third area.
In a second case, when it is determined that the direction key of the remote controller corresponds to an upward direction, then:
the browser module can determine the position of a cursor in a browser window, the top of the browser window is a status bar, the lower side of the browser window is a webpage display area, the webpage display area is longitudinally divided into three areas in advance, and the three areas are a first area, a second area and a third area from top to bottom in sequence, wherein the upper edge of the status bar is located at the upper edge of a webpage interface, and the lower edge of the third area is located at the lower edge of the webpage interface, so that the position of the cursor is determined to have the following 4 results:
1) and when the cursor is determined to be positioned in the status bar, judging whether the cursor is already positioned at the upper edge of the status bar.
If so, the cursor is not moved.
If not, the cursor is moved up by one step.
As shown in the left display of fig. 4A, when the cursor is located in the status bar, if the user presses the up button of the remote control and the cursor has not reached the top edge of the screen, the cursor may be moved up by one step, and after the movement, the cursor position is as shown in the right display of fig. 4A, where the cursor is moved vertically by a distance more than the cursor of the left display. The cursor moved up is also within the status bar.
2) And when the cursor is determined to be positioned in the first area, moving the cursor upwards by one step.
As shown in the left display of fig. 4B, when the cursor is located in the first area, if the user presses the up button of the remote control, the cursor may be moved up by one step, and after the movement, the cursor position is as shown in the right display of fig. 4B, where the cursor is moved vertically by a distance more than the cursor of the left display. The moved-up cursor may be in the first area or in the status bar.
3) When the cursor is located in a second area, judging whether the cursor crosses the second area after moving upwards by one step length, specifically judging whether the distance of the step length is greater than the vertical distance from the cursor to the upper edge of the second area, and if so, determining that the cursor crosses the second area after moving upwards by one step length; and if not, determining that the cursor does not cross the second area after moving upwards by one step length.
And when the moved cursor is determined to cross the upper edge of the second area, judging whether the top of the current webpage is not completely displayed.
And if the top of the webpage is not completely displayed, the cursor is not moved, and a downward scrolling operation is executed, wherein the downward scrolling operation is used for scrolling the currently displayed webpage in the webpage display area for a preset distance downward so as to update the webpage content in the webpage display area and keep the status bar unchanged.
As shown in the left display in fig. 4C, where the first, second, and third regions display content 1, content 2, and content 3 of the web page, respectively. When the cursor is located in the second area and the vertical distance between the cursor and the upper edge of the second area is less than one step length (for example, the step length is equal to the height of the cursor itself, the cursor may be located at a position less than the height of the cursor from the upper edge of the second area, or the cursor is located just on the upper edge of the second area), if the user presses an up button of the remote controller, the cursor is not moved, and a down scrolling operation is performed, after the web page is scrolled, as shown in a right display in fig. 4C, a part of content 1 and new web page content are displayed in the first area, such as content N, a part of content 1 and a part of content 2 are displayed in the second area, a part of content 2 and a part of content 3 are displayed in the third area, the original content 2 is moved downward by a preset distance (for example, the step length of the mouse cursor), and. The status bar is unchanged and the cursor position is unchanged. Thereby realizing the effect of scrolling the web page downwards. Because the cursor needs to be moved to the top of the webpage when the webpage is controlled to roll in the existing scheme, the webpage can be rolled only when the cursor is about to reach the upper edge of the second area, the distance that the cursor needs to move is reduced, and the operation times that a user presses down keys of a remote controller are equivalently reduced.
If the display at the top of the webpage is complete, the cursor is moved up by one step.
As shown in the left display in fig. 4D, when the cursor is located in the second area and the vertical distance between the cursor and the upper edge of the second area is less than one step (for example, the step is equal to the height of the cursor itself, the cursor may be located at a position less than the height of the cursor from the upper edge of the second area, or the cursor is located at the upper edge of the second area), if the user presses the up button of the remote controller, because the top of the current web page is completely displayed, the web page is not scrolled, but the cursor is moved up by one step, and after the movement, the cursor position is as shown in the right display in fig. 4D, where the cursor is moved vertically by a distance than the cursor of the left display. The cursor after moving up is in the first area.
When it is determined that the moved cursor will cross the upper edge of the second area, the cursor is moved one step upward.
As shown in the left display of fig. 4E, when the cursor is located in the second area, if the user presses the up button of the remote controller, the cursor may be moved up by one step, and after the movement, the cursor position is as shown in the right display of fig. 4E, where the cursor is moved vertically by a distance more than the cursor of the left display. The moved-up cursor may be in the second area or the first area.
4) And when the cursor is determined to be positioned in the third area, moving the cursor upwards by one step length.
As shown in the left display of fig. 4F, when the cursor is located in the third area, if the user presses the up button of the remote controller, the cursor may be moved up by one step, and after the movement, the cursor position is as shown in the right display of fig. 4F, where the cursor is moved vertically by a distance more than the cursor of the left display. The cursor after moving up can be in the third area and can also be in the second area.
In this embodiment, the browser module executes a specific operation process of controlling a cursor by a remote controller, as shown in fig. 5, where the specific operation process includes:
step 501, starting a browser module and displaying a webpage;
step 502, monitoring a remote controller direction key event message;
step 503, determining the direction key in the message, if yes, turning to step 504; if yes, go to step 512; if yes, go to step 514;
step 504, judging whether the cursor is in the first area or the status bar, if yes, turning to step 505; if not, go to step 506;
step 505, moving the cursor downwards by a step length, and turning to step 502;
step 506, judging whether the cursor is in the third area, if so, turning to step 507; if not, go to step 509;
step 507, judging whether the cursor is positioned at the bottom of the screen, if so, turning to step 508; if not, go to step 505;
step 508, moving the cursor, turning to step 502;
step 509, determining whether the cursor crosses the lower edge of the second area after moving downward by one step; if yes, go to step 510; if not, go to step 505;
step 510, judging whether the webpage displays complete bottom content; if yes, go to step 505; if not, go to step 511;
step 511, without moving the cursor, executing the operation of scrolling the webpage upwards, and turning to step 502;
step 512, judging whether the cursor position reaches the left edge or the right edge of the screen, if so, turning to step 508; if not, go to step 513;
step 513, moving the cursor one step left or right, turning to step 502;
step 514, judging whether the cursor is in the third area, if so, turning to step 515; if not, go to step 516;
step 515, moving the cursor one step upwards, going to step 502;
step 516, judging whether the cursor is in the first area or the status bar, if so, turning to step 517; if not, go to step 518;
517, judging whether the cursor is positioned at the top of the screen, if so, turning to 508; if not, go to step 515;
step 518, judging whether the cursor crosses the upper edge of the second area after moving upwards by one step length; if yes, go to step 519; if not, go to step 515;
step 519, judging whether the webpage already displays complete top content; if yes, go to step 515; if not, go to step 520;
and 520, executing the operation of scrolling the webpage downwards without moving the cursor, and turning to the step 502.
In a second embodiment, the present application provides a display device, and in particular, some components in the display device may further specifically perform the following operations:
a display;
the network module is used for downloading the webpage file;
a browser module to:
displaying a webpage in a webpage display area in a browser window based on the webpage file;
monitoring a remote controller direction key event, acquiring a remote controller key value from the remote controller direction key event, and determining a direction indicated by a remote controller direction key corresponding to the remote controller key value;
in this embodiment, the situation when the direction key of the remote controller is triggered when the user browses a web page through a browser is mainly addressed.
In a first case, when it is determined that the remote controller direction key corresponds to a downward direction, the method comprises:
the browser module can determine the position of a cursor in a browser window based on coordinates of the cursor, the top of the browser window is a status bar, a webpage display area is arranged below the browser window, the webpage display area is longitudinally divided into two areas in advance, and the two areas are a first area and a second area from top to bottom in sequence. As shown in fig. 6, the first region and the second region are arranged from top to bottom, no gap is formed between two adjacent regions, and the left and right edges of each region overlap with the left and right edges of the screen. The space occupation ratio of the region can be adjusted according to specific conditions, and the space occupation ratio of the region is not limited in the application. When the user opens the webpage, the default position of the cursor may be in the upper left corner of the first area of the cursor or in the middle of the first area, and the application is not particularly limited.
Therefore, the position of the cursor is determined as the following 3 results:
1) when the cursor is determined to be positioned in the status bar, moving the cursor downwards by one step length;
as shown in the left display of fig. 7A, when the cursor is located in the status bar, if the user presses the down button of the remote control, the cursor may be moved down by one step, and after the movement, the cursor position is as shown in the right display of fig. 7A, where the cursor is moved vertically down by a distance compared to the cursor of the left display. The cursor moved down may be in the status bar or moved out of the status bar into the first area.
2) When the cursor is located in a first area, judging whether the cursor crosses the lower edge of the first area after moving downwards by a step length, specifically judging whether the distance of the step length is greater than the vertical distance between the cursor and the lower edge of the first area, and if so, determining that the cursor crosses the lower edge of the first area after moving downwards by a step length; if not, determining that the cursor does not cross the lower edge of the first area after moving downwards by one step length.
And when the cursor is determined to cross the lower edge of the first area after moving, judging whether the bottom of the current webpage is not completely displayed.
If the bottom of the webpage is not completely displayed, the cursor is not moved, and an upward rolling operation is executed, wherein the upward rolling operation is used for rolling the display content of the webpage upwards by a preset distance, and the status bar is not moved;
as shown in the left display of fig. 7B, the first and second areas display content 1 and content 2 of the web page, respectively. When the cursor is located in the first area and the vertical distance between the cursor and the lower edge of the first area is less than a step length (for example, the step length is equal to the height of the cursor itself, the cursor may be located at a position less than the height of the cursor from the lower edge of the first area, or the cursor is located at the lower edge of the first area right), if the user presses the down button of the remote controller, the cursor is not moved, and the scroll operation is performed upwards, after the web page is scrolled, as shown in the right display in fig. 7B, a part of content 2 and a part of new web page content are displayed in the second area, as shown in content N, a part of content 2 and a part of content 1 are displayed in the first area, and the position of the original content 2 is shown as a. The status bar is unchanged and the cursor position is unchanged. Thereby realizing the effect of scrolling the webpage upwards.
And if the display at the bottom of the webpage is complete, moving the cursor downwards by one step.
As shown in the left display in fig. 7C, when the cursor is located in the first area and the vertical distance between the cursor and the lower edge of the first area is less than one step (for example, the step is equal to the height of the cursor itself, the cursor may be located at a position less than the height of the cursor from the lower edge of the first area, or the cursor is located at the lower edge of the first area right), if the user presses the down button of the remote controller, since the bottom of the web page is already displayed completely, the cursor may not be scrolled but moved down by one step, and after the movement, the cursor position is as shown in the right display in fig. 7C, where the cursor is moved down by a distance vertically compared with the cursor of the left display. The cursor after the downward movement is within the second area.
And if the cursor is determined not to cross the lower edge of the first area after moving downwards by one step, moving the cursor downwards by one step.
As shown in the left display of fig. 7D, when the cursor is located in the first area, if the user presses the down button of the remote controller, the cursor may be moved down by one step, and after the movement, the cursor position is as shown in the right display of fig. 7D, where the cursor is moved vertically down by a distance than the cursor of the left display. The cursor after the move-down is also within the first region.
3) And when the cursor is determined to be positioned in the second area, judging whether the cursor is already positioned at the lower edge of the second area.
And if so, not moving the cursor.
And if not, moving the cursor downwards by one step length.
As shown in the left display in fig. 7E, when the cursor is located in the second area, if the user presses the down button of the remote controller and the cursor is not yet at the lower edge of the second area, the cursor may be moved downward by one step, and after the movement, the cursor position is as shown in the right display in fig. 7E, where the cursor is moved vertically downward by a distance than the cursor on the left display. The cursor after the move-down is also within the second region.
In a second case, when it is determined that the direction key of the remote controller corresponds to an upward direction, then:
the browser module can determine the position of a cursor in a browser window, wherein the top of the browser window is a status bar, the lower part of the browser window is a webpage display area, the webpage display area is longitudinally divided into two areas in advance, and the two areas are a first area and a second area from top to bottom in sequence, wherein the upper edge of the status bar is located at the upper edge of a webpage interface, and the lower edge of the second area is located at the lower edge of the webpage interface; therefore, the following 2 results are obtained for determining the position of the cursor:
1) and when the cursor is determined to be positioned in the status bar, judging whether the top of the current webpage is completely displayed.
And if the display is complete, not moving the cursor.
And if the display is not complete, executing a downward scrolling operation, wherein the downward scrolling operation is used for scrolling the webpage display content downward by a preset distance, and the status bar does not move.
As shown in the left display of fig. 8A, the first and second areas display content 1 and content 2 of the web page, respectively. When the cursor is located in the status bar and the top content is already displayed completely, if the user presses the up button of the remote controller, the cursor is not moved, but a downward scrolling operation is performed, after the web page is scrolled, as shown in the right display in fig. 8A, new content appears at the top of the first area, such as content N, original content 1 (shown by a dotted line) moves downward, the second area displays partial content 1 and partial content 2, the status bar is not changed, and the cursor position is not changed.
2) And when the cursor is determined to be positioned in the first area or the second area, moving the cursor upwards by one step.
Taking the cursor located in the second area as an example, as shown in the left display in fig. 8B, if the user presses the up button of the remote controller, the cursor may be moved up by one step, and after moving, the cursor position is as shown in the right display in fig. 8B, where the cursor is moved vertically by a distance more than the cursor on the left display. The moved-up cursor is in the first area, or the second area (the cursor is exemplarily shown in the first area in the figure).
As shown in the left display of fig. 8C, in the first embodiment, because the operation probability of the status bar is relatively high, if the user needs to move the cursor from the second area to the status bar, the user must first perform the web page downward scrolling operation until the top content of the web page (e.g., content N is the top content) is completely displayed, and then the cursor can reach the status bar by crossing the second area, as shown in the right display of fig. 8C.
However, in the second embodiment, as shown in the left display of fig. 8D, if the cursor needs to be moved from the middle of the first area to the status bar, the state bar can be reached by directly performing the cursor moving operation without triggering the web page downward scrolling operation first, as shown in the right display of fig. 8D.
Compared with the prior art, the method in the second embodiment is more convenient for the operation of moving the cursor from other areas to the status bar, can avoid the webpage from rolling, improves the operation efficiency of the cursor reaching the status bar, and further optimizes the user experience.
In this embodiment, the browser module executes a specific operation process of controlling a cursor by a remote controller, as shown in fig. 9, where the specific operation process includes:
step 901, starting a browser module and displaying a webpage;
step 902, monitoring a remote controller direction key event message;
step 903, determining a direction key in the message, and turning to step 904 if the direction key is a downward direction key; if yes, go to step 912; if yes, go to step 914;
step 904, judging whether the cursor is in the status bar, if so, turning to step 905; if not, go to step 906;
