The sealing form has the advantages of simple structure, compact size and convenient installation, and occupies a great share in the market. The O-shaped sealing ring is mainly used for static sealing and sealing of low-speed rotary motion. The O-shaped sealing ring is used for the connector, so that the use reliability in air is high. However, in the use process of the ocean severe environment, various random vibrations caused by the outside exist, such as non-periodic forced vibrations caused by high-speed cruising seawater impact; the method also comprises deterministic periodic vibration of the equipment and the structure, such as vortex-induced vibration with poor cable guide effect, self-excited vibration of the equipment under unbalanced acting force (such as unbalanced rotation of an underwater equipment mechanism), involved vibration of a carrying platform (such as periodic vibration of high-power transmitting sonar) and the like. The sealing form of the connector itself cannot therefore be regarded simply as a static sealing form, but rather as a quasi-static sealing form.

The structure machining precision and the installation precision are strictly checked under extremely complex vibration working conditions. Therefore, the underwater vibration environment with high pressure and humidity cannot be entered by sea water for a short time, but the long-term work cannot avoid the moisture infiltration. And a small amount of moisture is often a catastrophic consequence to high voltage, heavy load, high power equipment with high insulation requirements.

The insulator is provided with an oil filling hole, an oil discharging hole and a longitudinal watertight jack, an electric contact pin is installed in the longitudinal watertight jack, and a lead in the cable is connected with the electric contact pin.
