Technical Field

The present invention relates to a lifting tool for a nut of an inner wear part of a cone crusher.

Background

This section describes useful background information, but is not an admission that any of the technology described herein represents state of the art.

Cone crushers crush mineral material on conical inner wear parts. The inner wear part is supported from below by a support cone and is fixed to the support cone by a nut having a diameter of 0.5 to 1.5 m. The weight of the nut may exceed 100 kg. Since the nut is also positioned above the conical structure, a failed lifting attempt may result in the nut falling on the worker or causing material damage.

Lifting lugs (lifting loops) may be formed in the nut, but breakable rock material is fed onto the nut, which material easily breaks or blocks such lugs. The lifting lugs also hinder the flow of crushed rock material from the top of the nut to the actual crushing zone between the inner and outer wear parts.

Disclosure of Invention

According to a first exemplary aspect of the present invention, a lifting tool for a nut of an internal wear part of a cone crusher is provided. The lifting tool is characterized in that the lifting tool comprises:

a frame for placement around a nut to be lifted, the frame comprising:

a nut lifting lug for producing support from at least three sides of the center of gravity of the nut;

a frame suspension bracket (frame suspension fork) for suspending the frame on the nut prior to lifting the nut;

an open side for receiving a nut;

a lateral limiter forming a nut receiving space together with the lifting lug and the suspension bracket so that the frame can be slid around the nut from the open side; and

a lifting connection for connecting the crane to the frame.

The frame may comprise means for closing the open side during lifting, such as latches, bolts, screws or chains.

The latch may be hinged for pivoting in front of the open side. The latch may include a locking member for maintaining the latch in its closed position during lifting. The locking member may comprise a locking screw. The locking member may comprise a locking nut. In combination with the lifting connection, the lock may comprise a member attached to the lifting member of the crane.

The frame may be formed from one piece. The frame may be formed of a steel plate. The frame may be formed of a plate. The plate may be provided with a plurality of protrusions for the suspension bracket, which are bent to protrude onto a nut to be attached to the frame, and further bent over the nut to extend over a portion of the nut radius towards a nut rotation axis (axis) with which the nut is connected to the cone crusher. The protruding portion of the protrusion may form a lateral limiter. The upper portion of the protrusion may be bent to form a suspension bracket. The suspension bracket may include a clamping member for grasping the nut. The clamping member may include a hole formed in the suspension bracket for the screw to be screwed in. The bore may be threaded.

The latch may be formed from a single plate member. The latch may be formed from a steel plate. The latch may include a lateral limiter formed by bending a protrusion of the plate member. The latch may include a suspension bracket formed by bending a protrusion of the plate member.

The frame may include a stiffener (stiff) that bends downward. The reinforcement may be arranged to keep the frame separate from its base to reduce corrosion exposure during storage.

The lifting connection may be a lifting lug. The shackle may be formed as a plate-shaped frame by bending. The lifting lug may be further outward from the threads of the nut than the lateral restraint to provide sufficient space for attachment of a lifting member of the crane.

The nut support bracket may be made of one piece. The body of the frame may be arranged to rest against the lower edge of the nut (seat).

Embodiments of the invention have been described above in connection with a certain aspect or aspects of the invention. One skilled in the art will appreciate that any embodiment of an aspect may be used in the same aspect and in other aspects, alone or in combination with other embodiments.

FIG. 1 illustrates a nut lifting tool for an internal wear part of a cone crusher in accordance with a first embodiment of the present invention; and

fig. 2 shows a use example for explaining the structure of the lifting tool of fig. 1.

Detailed Description

In the following description, like reference numerals denote like elements or steps.

Fig. 1 shows a nut lifting tool 100 for the inner wear part of a cone crusher according to a first embodiment of the present invention. The lifting tool 100 includes a frame 110 placed around the nut to be lifted. The frame 100 includes:

nut lifting lugs (body 120 or optionally protrusions formed on the surface of body 120, for example using screw heads or curved edges) for producing support from at least three sides of the centre of gravity of the nut;

a frame suspension bracket 124 for suspending the frame on the nut prior to lifting the nut;

an open side S1 for receiving a nut;

a lateral limiter 122 forming a nut receiving space together with the lifting lug and the suspension bracket so that the frame can be slid around the nut from the open side; and

a lifting connection 128 for connecting the crane to the frame 110.

The frame 110 may include means, such as latches 130, bolts, screws, or chains, for closing the open side S1 during lifting. Fig. 1 shows a latch 130 that is hinged to pivot into front of the open side S1 of the frame for receiving or releasing a nut into or from the frame. The latch 130 of fig. 1 includes a locking member, in this case formed by a locking screw 132 and a recess 134 formed in the latch, for holding the latch in its closed position during lifting. Alternatively or additionally, the lock may comprise a lock nut, or a member connected to the lifting member of the crane together with the lifting link, such as an ear formed on the end of the latch, which pivots adjacent a corresponding ear formed on the body. For example, in fig. 1, the bolt 130 may be longer and its end bent to be placed adjacent to the lifting lug 128 on the hingeless side of the open side of the frame 110. The curved end may have an opening for insertion of the crane hook through the lifting lug 128 and hence through the improved latch.

The frame 110 of fig. 1 is formed of a single piece (not including latches), such as a steel plate or a composite plate. A plurality of protrusions (122, 124) for the suspension bracket are formed in the frame 120 or plate 1 of fig. 1, which are bent to protrude onto the nut 110 to be connected to the frame 110, and are further bent over the nut to extend a portion of the nut radius toward the nut rotation axis, whereby the nut is connected to the cone crusher. In this case, the protruding portion of the protrusion forms the lateral limiter 122. The upper portion of the protrusion is bent to form a suspension bracket 124. The suspension bracket 124 may include a clamping member for gripping a nut, such as a hole in the suspension bracket 124 for a bolt 126, which may be threaded.

The latch 130 of fig. 1 is formed from a single plate member, such as a steel plate. The latch 130 of fig. 1 includes a lateral restraint 122 formed by bending a plate member and includes a suspension bracket 124, which may be similar to the lateral restraint and suspension bracket of the frame 110. Alternatively, the lateral restraint 122 may raise the suspension bracket by a plate thickness that is less than the thickness of the lateral restraint 124 formed in the body 120 of the frame 110.

In addition, the frame 110 of fig. 1 also includes a downwardly bent stiffener 129 for keeping the frame 110 separate from its base to reduce corrosion experienced during storage.

The lifting link 128 of fig. 1 is a shackle formed by bending the plate frame 120. The lifting lug 128 may be further outward from the threads of the nut than the lateral restraint to leave sufficient space for attachment of the lifting member of the crane.

Fig. 2 shows an example of use of the lifting tool for explaining the structure of the lifting tool of fig. 1, wherein:

1. opening the nut of the inner wear member until the nut is fully open, i.e., the threads are no longer in contact, point a;

2. during the opening of the nut, any dirt that may interfere with the use of the lifting tool 100 on the nut surface is removed;

3. releasing the lifting tool latch and opening the latch to its extreme position, position B;

4. lifting the lifting tool and sliding it around the nut, then closing the latch and nut and tightening the locking bolt on the latch, point C;

5. tightening a locking or clamping screw of the nut against a top surface of the nut;

6. removing a gap of a hoisting chain (hoisting chain) by using a crane, and lifting a nut;

7. the nut is lowered onto the base and the lifting tool is released from the nut by loosening the clamping screw and opening the latch.

The foregoing description provides non-limiting examples of some embodiments of the invention. It is obvious to the person skilled in the art that the invention is not restricted to the details of the embodiments presented but that it can be implemented in other equivalent ways.

Some of the features of the previously described embodiments of this invention could be used to advantage without the corresponding use of other features. Accordingly, the foregoing description should be considered as merely illustrative of the principles of the present invention, and not in limitation thereof. The scope of the invention is therefore intended to be limited solely by the appended patent claims.
