1. A dispersion of composite particles in an aqueous medium, wherein the composite particles comprise

(I) A crosslinked polyolefin core, and

(II) a full or partial shell comprising polymerized units of one or more vinyl monomers.

2. The dispersion of claim 1, wherein the vinyl monomer comprises one or more (meth) acrylic monomers.

3. The dispersion of claim 1, wherein the vinyl monomer comprises one or more unsubstituted alkyl esters of (meth) acrylic acid.

4. The dispersion of claim 1, wherein the crosslinked polyolefin core comprises one or more hydrocarbon polyolefins and one or more non-hydrocarbon polyolefins.

5. The dispersion of claim 1, wherein the crosslinked polyolefin core has a Tg of-30 ℃ or less.

6. The dispersion of claim 1, wherein the gel fraction of the crosslinked polyolefin core is 10 wt% or greater.

7. The dispersion of claim 1, wherein the crosslinked polyolefin core is present in an amount of 60% to 90% by weight based on the sum of the weight of the crosslinked polyolefin core and the weight of the shell.

8. The dispersion liquid according to claim 1, wherein the amount of the shell grafted to the core is 40% by weight or more based on the total amount of the shell.
