The transformer substation is widely applied to distribution stations and box-type substations of load centers of urban residential districts, high-rise buildings, large public buildings, factory enterprises and the like.

In the traditional cable engineering construction, the ring main unit foundation can adopt three types of on-site manual brick laying, on-site concrete casting and prefabricated assembly, and the construction quality is not convenient to control due to the uneven skill level of construction teams; the brick foundation has the quality problems of poor appearance and the like due to the defects of the brick material, namely low strength, easy corrosion, poor adhesion of protective layer mortar, and easy falling; the foundation is slow in speed and long in construction period, engineering progress is severely restricted, mechanical strength of the foundation is not enough, the foundation is easy to collapse after the foundation is operated for a period of time, potential safety hazards exist, and the foundation does not meet use requirements.

The cast-in-place concrete structure is limited by site construction conditions, the quality of the reinforcing mesh cannot be guaranteed, the randomness of template construction is high, the compactness of cast-in-place vibration is poor, the environmental limitation is large, the mechanical construction is difficult, and the construction quality is difficult to guarantee. The method needs a long time to shape, is easily influenced by the external construction environment, prolongs the construction period, and cannot meet the requirement of power grid construction.

The prefabricated assembly type is prefabricated in a factory and conveyed to a construction site for splicing and forming, but because the volume of a concrete prefabricated part is larger, the weight of a single prefabricated part is heavier, mechanical cooperation construction is needed, but a large number of construction sites do not have the condition of mechanical construction and cannot be constructed; meanwhile, the connection quality of the concrete prefabricated part is poor, and the overall quality of the foundation is difficult to guarantee.
