1. A step drop detection device for an escalator, comprising:

a capturing part which is above the ground of the machine room of the escalator and receives the step falling from the step shaft; and

and a detection unit that transmits a signal for stopping the escalator to a control panel for controlling the operation of the escalator when the capturing unit receives the steps.

7. The step dropout detection apparatus of an escalator according to claim 5 or 6, wherein,

the curved portion has a shape along a part of the step in a vertical plane including a front-rear direction of the step.

The invention relates to a step falling detection device of an escalator.

Background

Patent document 1 describes an example of a step fall-off detection device for an escalator. The step fall detection device is provided with a fall detection arm and a switch on the floor of the machine room. When the step is disengaged from the step shaft, the disengagement detection arm is brought into contact with the step to press the switch. The switch sends a signal for stopping the escalator to a control panel of the escalator.

Problems to be solved by the invention

However, in the step fall-off detection device of patent document 1, when the step falls off from the step shaft, the step may collide with a device inside the machine room. Therefore, the equipment inside the machine room may be damaged by collision of the dropped steps.

The present invention has been made to solve the above problems. The invention aims to provide a step drop detection device which prevents equipment in a machine room from being damaged when a step drops from a step shaft.

Means for solving the problems

The step drop detection device for an escalator of the present invention comprises: a capturing part which is above the ground of the machine room of the escalator and receives the step falling from the step shaft; and a detection part which sends a signal for stopping the escalator to a control panel for controlling the operation of the escalator when the capturing part receives the steps.

Effects of the invention

According to the present invention, the step drop-out detection device includes a capturing section and a detection section. The catching part receives the step dropped from the step shaft above the ground of the machine room of the escalator. The detection part sends a signal for stopping the escalator to a control panel for controlling the operation of the escalator when the capturing part receives the steps. Thus, the step drop detection device can prevent equipment inside the machine room from being damaged when the steps drop from the step shafts.
