Technical Field

The invention relates to the field of plastic-coated steel wire rope production equipment and a plastic-coated steel wire rope production method, in particular to a PVC coating device and a PVC coating method for a steel wire rope.

Background

The plastic-coated steel wire rope for the steel structure is made of plastic-coated steel wires and plastic-coated rope strands twisted or a steel wire rope with plastic coated on the surface, also called a plastic-coated steel wire rope, generally, the plastic-coated steel wire rope is made of a phosphatized coated steel wire rope, a galvanized steel wire rope, a stainless steel wire rope and a plain steel wire rope, the steel wire rope is subjected to outer-layer plastic coating treatment, generally PVC plastic coating treatment, the surface of the plastic-coated steel wire rope looks more attractive, the steel wire rope has a more stable structure, certain cushioning and anti-extrusion effects are achieved, and the service life of the steel wire rope can be prolonged.

The plastic-coated steel wire rope has outstanding corrosion resistance, and the corrosion resistance in the atmosphere, mine water and seawater is 3.5-5 times of the service life of a common galvanized steel wire rope. The plastic-coated steel wire rope has the advantages that the inner wire and the wire of the rope are separated from each other, and the strand are coated with the coating, so that the plastic-coated steel wire rope is good in wear resistance, can be used under carrying loads such as lifting and transportation, and is 1.5-2 times as long as that of a common steel wire rope. The plastic coated steel wire rope has good fatigue resistance, for example, the durability of the steel wire rope with the nylon coating and the nylon core is about 2 times that of the common hemp core or metal core steel wire rope.

The production of the plastic coated steel wire rope uses a special device, namely a plastic coating machine, the plastic coating machine gradually heats and softens PVC plastics, the molten PVC plastics are uniformly wrapped on the outer surface of the steel wire rope by matching with the running speed of a motor to the steel wire rope, and a special die is matched to finally form a smooth plastic coated surface.

Compared with the prior art, the invention has the beneficial effects that:

1. the PVC plastic has stable melting speed, is just melted when reaching a die, is coated and wrapped on the steel wire rope, and reduces the defective rate of the plastic-coated steel wire rope;

2. the PVC raw material is dried before being heated and melted, so that bubbling of the PVC raw material due to the existence of moisture is prevented;

3. the pressure sensor, the valve and the reflux device are arranged in the die, when the pressure in the die is too high, the valve is opened, the molten PVC raw material flows into the reflux device and drips back into the heating area through the reflux device, and the problems that bubbling is easily generated in the coating process of PVC plastics, the plastic-coated surface is not smooth and the plastic-coated surface is easily broken are solved.

Detailed Description

In order to further understand the objects, structures, features and functions of the present invention, the following embodiments are described in detail.

Referring to fig. 1, the PVC coating apparatus for a steel wire rope comprises a dryer 1, a heating area 2 and a mold 3, wherein the dryer 1 is arranged in front of the heating area 2 and connected with the heating area 2, the heating area 2 is arranged in front of the mold 3 and connected with the mold 3, and the mold 3 is provided with a reflux device 4 and a control unit 5.

Referring to fig. 2, a pressure sensor 6 is arranged in the mold 3, a valve 7 is arranged on the reflux device 4, the pressure sensor 6 is connected with the valve 7, when the pressure in the mold 3 is too high, the valve 7 is opened, the molten PVC raw material flows into the reflux device 4, and is dripped back into the heating area 2 through the reflux device 4.

Referring to fig. 3, the pressure sensor 6 includes a data acquisition unit 601 and a data transmission unit 602, the control unit 5 includes a data receiving unit 501, a data processing unit 502 and an instruction transmission unit 503, and the valve 7 includes an instruction receiving unit 701.

Referring to fig. 3, the data acquisition unit 601 of the pressure sensor 6 acquires pressure data and transmits the pressure data to the data transmission unit 602, the data receiving unit 501 of the control unit 5 receives the pressure data from the data transmission unit 602 and transmits the pressure data to the data processing unit 502, the data processing unit 502 processes the pressure data into an on instruction or an off instruction and transmits the on instruction or the off instruction to the instruction transmission unit 503, and the instruction receiving unit 701 of the valve 7 receives the on instruction or the off instruction from the instruction transmission unit 503.

Referring to fig. 4, the PVC coating method of the steel wire rope using the PVC coating apparatus includes the following steps:

step S1: drying the PVC raw material;

step S2: gradually heating the PVC raw material;

step S3: and (4) extrusion coating.

Specifically, the drying of the PVC raw material is realized through the dryer 1, and the moisture in the PVC raw material is dried, so that the bubbling of the PVC raw material due to the moisture is prevented.

With further reference to fig. 1, the gradual heating of the PVC raw material is realized by six heating zones 2, and the temperatures of the six heating zones 2 are respectively set to 200 ℃, 210 ℃, 220 ℃, 230 ℃, 240 ℃ and 245 ℃, so that the PVC raw material is melted in the last heating zone 2. The steel wire rope can not be wrapped with PVC when moving forwards in the heating area 2, so that the coating is not uniform.

With further reference to fig. 1, the extrusion coating is carried out by means of a die 3, into which die 3 molten PVC material is fed, and through which die 3 a steel cord is passed.

Referring to fig. 5, a screw 11 is disposed in the heating region 2 to push the PVC material to move forward.

Referring further to fig. 1, after the extrusion coating step, the steel wire rope moves forward, and after natural cooling, the steel wire rope is wound on a take-up device 10 through a roller 9.
