Technical Field

The invention relates to a locking device and a case adopting the same.

Background

With the rapid development of electronic devices, more and more public places use the electronic devices to meet the needs of work, such as large business surpasses. However, in order to prevent the risk of theft of the chassis in the electronic device in public places, people lock the chassis on other devices through the locking mechanism, so as to avoid the situation that the chassis is stolen. Even if the case is pulled, the case is protected because the case is locked on other devices. However, in the process of pulling the case, a large moment is generated on the locking mechanism, and the locking mechanism is easily damaged after the case is pulled for many times.

Disclosure of Invention

In view of the above, there is a need to provide a locking device and a chassis using the same, which aims to reduce the moment generated by pulling the chassis.

A locking device is used for connecting a case to a fixing device and comprises a lock body, a locking rope and a connecting block, wherein the connecting block is fixed at one end of the lock body and is flush with the end face of the lock body;

Referring to fig. 1, the present embodiment provides a chassis 200, where the chassis 200 includes a chassis body 40 and a locking device 100 mounted on an outer surface of the chassis body 40.

Referring to fig. 1, 2 and 3, the locking device 100 is used to connect the casing 200 to a fixing device (not shown). The locking device 100 includes a lock body 10, a connecting block 20 and a locking rope 30, wherein the connecting block 20 is fixed at one end of the lock body 10, and the connecting block 20 is flush with the end surface of the lock body 10. One end of the locking rope 30 is fixed on the connecting block 20, and the other end of the locking rope 30 is connected to the fixing device. The lock body 10 is fixed to the case 200 through one end connected to the connection block 20.

The locking device 100 is connected to the fixing device through a locking rope 30 connected to the lock body 10, when the case 200 is pulled by an external force, the locking device 100 is also pulled by the pulling force of the case 200, the connecting block 20 which is pulled by the pulling force is close to the case 200, and the fixing device tensions the case 200 through the locking device 100. Because the connecting block 20 is close to the case 200, the moment applied to the locking device 100 is reduced.

Referring to fig. 3 and 4, in order to reduce the moment applied to the locking device 100, in some embodiments, the lock body 10 has a substantially cylindrical shape, and a first protrusion 11 is further disposed at one end of the lock body 10, and the other end of the lock body is used for unlocking the lock body 10 or locking the lock body 10. When the lock body 10 is mounted on the case 200, the first protrusion 11 is disposed inside the case 200. The first protrusion 11 and the lock body 10 may be connected together by welding, and the lock body 10 may be held on the case 200 by the first protrusion 11.

It is understood that the connection manner of the first protrusion 11 and the lock body 10 is not limited thereto.

Referring to fig. 2, 3 and 4, the connecting block 20 is disposed on the side wall 12 of the lock body 10 and is substantially perpendicular to the side wall of the lock body 10. In this embodiment, the connecting block 20 and the lock body 10 are integrally formed. It is understood that in other embodiments, the connecting block 20 may be a separate member mounted on the lock body 10. The connecting block 20 and the first protruding portion 11 are located at the same end of the lock body 10, the connecting block 20 is located on the side wall 12, the first protruding portion 11 is located on one end face of the lock body 10, and the connecting block 20 and the first protruding portion 11 are also approximately in a perpendicular state. Specifically, the end face of the lock body 10, which is provided with the first protrusion 11, and the end face of the connecting block 20 are coplanar, and the coplanar faces are attached to the surface of the case 200, so that the distance between the connecting block 20 and the case 200 is reduced, and when an external force is applied, the connecting block 20 can reduce the moment applied to the lock body to protect the locking device 100.

Referring to fig. 4 and 5, further, the first protrusion 11 and the second protrusion 21 are substantially cross-shaped or X-shaped. It is understood that the shapes of the first protrusion 11 and the second protrusion 21 are not limited thereto.

Referring to fig. 1, the locking rope 30 is used to connect the locking device 100 and the fixing device together to enhance the protection of the chassis 200.

Referring to fig. 3, the chassis 200 further includes an upper cover 41, and the upper cover 41 covers the chassis body 40. Further, the upper cover 41 is provided with a bent portion 410, and the bent portion 410 is clamped at the edge of the chassis body 40 and coincides with the edge of the chassis body 40, so that the upper cover 41 is matched with the chassis body 40.

Referring to fig. 1 and fig. 3, the lock body of the locking device 100 is disposed at the overlapping position of the bending portion 410 and the case body 40, so as to fix the bending portion 410 and the case body 40 together, i.e., to connect the upper cover 41 and the case body 40 together. The coplanar position of the lock body 10 and the connecting block 20 is attached to the surface of the bending part 410.

In other embodiments, in order to reduce the moment to which the locking device 100 is subjected, the predetermined distance between the lock body 10 and the edge of the casing body 40 may be reduced to reduce the moment to which the locking device 100 is subjected when the casing 200 is subjected to an external force.

When the locking device 100 is installed on the case 200, the locking rope 30 of the locking device 100 is connected to the fixing device, and the case 200 is fixed to the fixing device through the locking device 100. When the case 200 is pulled, the connection block 20 on the locking device 100 is subjected to an external force, because the connection block 20 is attached to the surface of the case 200, the distance between the connection block 20 and the case 200 is reduced. When external force is applied, the moment applied to the connecting block 20 is also reduced, thereby protecting the locking device 100.

In summary, the present invention provides a locking device 100 and a chassis 200 using the locking device 100, wherein the chassis 200 is connected to the fixing device through the locking device 100, so as to ensure the security of the chassis 200. And the connecting block 20 is disposed close to the surface of the case 200 to reduce the distance between the connecting block 20 and the case 200. Therefore, when the external force pulls the case 200, the distance between the connection block 20 and the case 200 is reduced, the moment applied to the connection block 20 is reduced, and the damage to the locking device 100 is reduced.
