Technical Field

The invention relates to a water-soluble film and a preparation method thereof, belonging to the technical field of film processing.

Background

The water-soluble film is made of a water-soluble high polymer material which can be quickly dissolved in water by a specific film forming process, is a novel water-soluble degradable green packaging material, and has the characteristics of environmental protection, easy dissolution, safety, no toxicity, oil resistance, corrosion resistance, static electricity prevention, elastic tensile resistance, random packaging, accurate metering, strong heat sealability, ventilation, oxygen resistance, clear printing and high anti-counterfeiting performance. Water-soluble films are widely used in countries such as europe, america, japan, and the like for packaging products for use in water, such as agricultural chemicals, fertilizers, pigments, dyes, detergents, water treatment agents, mineral additives, detergents, and concrete additives. In addition, the fabric can also be used as a garbage bag or a laundry bag of medical polluted fabrics; the film is used as a water transfer blank film and a temporary protective film; the anti-fake label is used as an anti-fake intelligent label to prevent the product from mixing moisture and the like. The manufacturers mainly adopt the casting method and the blow molding method to produce the water-soluble film, and mainly adopt Japan, America, France, Korea and the like to produce and sell such products, such as GREENSOL of France, TECHNOLOGY PARTNERS (W.T.P) of WORDWIDE, Japan, synthetic chemical company of Japan and the like.

Typical water-soluble films include polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) films, polyethylene oxide (PEO) films, methylcellulose and other edible starch films, and the like, the components are C, H, O compounds, so the water-soluble film is safe and nontoxic, only physical dissolution occurs among the components in the film preparation process, the physical property, the mechanical property, the process property and the water-soluble property of the water-soluble film are improved, but no chemical reaction occurs and the chemical property of the water-soluble film is not changed. PVA films are currently the most widely used water-soluble films in the packaging field. However, since PVA contains a large number of hydroxyl groups in its molecule and is easily decomposed in a molten state, it is difficult to blow a film directly from the PVA material. Besides being difficult to process, PVA has poor moisture resistance and has a certain vinegar taste. Polyethylene oxide (PEO) becomes a film material with great development prospect due to good water solubility and hot processing performance, has wider application range and bacteriostasis, and has better application prospect in the medical industry. The foreign patent US2001/0003613a1 mentions low molecular weight PEO (less than 30 million) which, although it can be processed into a film, has a low mechanical strength. PEO (30 million or more) having a high molecular weight has a high melt viscosity and is difficult to stretch-mold, and only a sheet having a thickness of 70 μm or more can be obtained. At present, relatively few researches are carried out on the development of a soluble film by taking cellulose and other edible starch films as raw materials, and reports are also rarely seen.
