Technical Field

The invention relates to the technical field of container structures, in particular to a combined container.

Background

A container is a large cargo container having a certain strength, rigidity and specification and dedicated for the transportation of goods. Since the last 60 s, containers have gradually evolved into an international common transport vehicle for multimodal transport. When the container is used for transferring goods, the goods can be directly loaded in the warehouse of a shipper and unloaded in the warehouse of a consignee, and the goods do not need to be taken out from the container for reloading when vehicles and ships are changed midway.

Existing partial containers are also often used to store equipment due to the container having sufficient accommodation space that a user can transport the container to a location where the equipment needs to be placed and then place the equipment in the container via the end opening of the container. However, in order to facilitate transportation, the specifications and dimensions of the existing containers have certain industry standards, the size of the end opening of each container has certain limitations, and when the size of equipment to be placed is too large, the equipment cannot be placed in the container, so that the requirements of users cannot be met.

Therefore, there is a need to provide a combination container to at least partially solve the above problems.

The present invention provides a combination container which can be used to store equipment having a large size, and hereinafter, a combination container according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to fig. 1 to 12.

In one embodiment according to the invention, the modular shipping container comprises at least two shipping containers, wherein a lintel and a sill extending in a horizontal direction are provided at the lengthwise ends of the shipping containers, the lintel being located above the sill and only one upright being fixedly arranged in a vertical direction between the lintel and the sill, the lintel, the sill and the upright defining at least one end opening of the shipping container. In addition, the combined container also comprises a top connecting piece and a bottom connecting piece, when a plurality of containers are arranged in parallel along the width direction of the containers, the top connecting piece can be connected between the respective lintels of two adjacent containers, and the bottom connecting piece can be connected between the respective doorsills of two adjacent containers.

In the present embodiment, the overall size of the container is designed according to international standards so as to be transportable by a general container transport apparatus, for example, both vehicles and ships for transporting conventional containers can transport the container in the present embodiment.

When the user transports the assembled container to the destination, the ends of the plurality of containers may be aligned and the lintels and doorsills of the plurality of containers may be connected by the top and bottom connectors. In the case of a combined container, the end opening defined by the lintel, the pillar and the door sill of an individual container can form a larger end opening with the end opening of an adjacent individual container, and the internal spaces of adjacent containers are communicated to form a larger accommodating space. The user can then place a larger sized device in this larger receiving space via this larger end opening.

The combined container comprises a plurality of containers, the end parts of the containers are provided with at least one end opening limited by a door lintel, a column and a door sill, when at least two containers are arranged side by side, the end openings of the adjacent containers are communicated to form a larger opening, and the inner spaces of the adjacent containers are communicated to form a larger accommodating space, thereby ensuring that the containers can be normally transported and a user can combine a plurality of containers to place larger equipment which can not be placed by a single container.

In a particular embodiment according to the invention, the combination container comprises both a first container and a second container. When at least two containers are juxtaposed in the width direction, the first container is placed on the outside, and the second container is placed between the two first containers. It will be appreciated that one or more second containers may be placed between the two first containers. In an embodiment not shown, the combi-container may also comprise only first containers, and placing two first containers side by side also allows to accommodate equipment of larger size.
