Background

As one of urban roads, tunnels tend to be complicated with the development of cities and the restriction of ground space. Typically, tunnels have multiple branches connected to the ground and often directly to the underground structures of the various plots of the city. Once a fire occurs, especially the spread of smoke, the safety of lives and property is greatly threatened. The smoke is controlled within a certain range and then is discharged by the fan, which is an effective solution. Conventional smoke separation means include fire curtains, water curtains and the like. The tunnel can be completely isolated by adopting the separation measure of the fireproof roller shutter, so that the escape of personnel and the entry of fire-fighting vehicles are not facilitated. The existing separation measures adopting water curtains also have the problem of limited protection time. Because the water consumption of the water curtain is very large, the water curtain needs to be conveyed to the position of a fire disaster through a long-distance fire-fighting pipe network.
