1. An aircraft cockpit-mounted portable display combination comprising:

a stationary display device comprising a stationary display screen and a bezel surrounding the stationary display screen; and

a portable display mounting device disposed on the bezel of the stationary display device, the portable display mounting device adapted to mount the portable display in a mounting position covering the stationary display screen.

2. The combination of an aircraft cockpit mounted portable display of claim 1,

the portable display mounting apparatus includes:

a mounting base disposed on the bezel below the fixed display screen, the mounting base adapted to support the portable display in the mounted position; and

the limiting part is arranged on the frame above and/or on the side edge of the fixed display screen, and the limiting part is provided with a limiting part which is suitable for being in contact with the portable display to limit the portable display to move away from the installation position.

3. The combination of an aircraft cockpit mounted portable display of claim 2,

the limiting member is rotatable between an operating position in which the limiting portion of the limiting member is adapted to contact the portable display supported in the mounting position to limit movement of the portable display away from the mounting position, and a non-operating position in which the limiting portion is spaced from the portable display to allow movement of the portable display away from the mounting position.

4. An aircraft cockpit mounted portable display combination according to claim 2 or 3,

the limiting member is arranged to be capable of sliding on the frame along the horizontal direction or the vertical direction of the fixed display device.

5. An aircraft cockpit mounted portable display combination according to claim 2 or 3,

the limiting part is provided with a locking device, and the locking device is arranged to enable the limiting part to be pressed against the portable display, so that the portable display is tightly attached to and covers the fixed display screen.

6. An aircraft cockpit mounted portable display combination according to claim 5,

the locking device is a spring, and the stroke of the spring is adapted to the thickness of the portable display.

7. An aircraft cockpit mounted portable display combination according to claim 2 or 3,

Technical Field

The invention mainly relates to the field of display installation, in particular to a combined device for installing a portable display in an aircraft cockpit.

Background

An electronic flight bag is an electronic information management device, helps a pilot (unit) to perform flight management tasks more easily and effectively, and is also a general computing platform for reducing or replacing paper reference materials common in flight bags carried by the pilot, such as: flight operation manual, flight set operation manual, navigation map, etc. In addition, electronic flight bags can host special-purpose applications to automatically perform other functions that are typically done manually, such as: and calculating takeoff performance parameters and the like.

Generally, an electronic flight bag display is designed at the lower part of a window frame in front of a measuring rod of a civil aircraft cockpit, and electronic flight bags are classified into A, B, C types, namely fixed type and portable type. Future cockpit designs are biased toward fixed electronic flight bag displays, cross-linked with the aircraft's own systems. However, in the current aviation operation environment, there are still airlines equipped with portable electronic flight bag displays, and it is necessary to satisfy the situation that the fixed electronic flight bag display and the portable electronic flight bag display coexist.

Disclosure of Invention

In view of the above, it is an object of the present invention to provide a combination unit that can use a portable electronic flight bag display in an aircraft cockpit having a fixed electronic flight bag display.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a combination unit for mounting a portable display in a cockpit of an aircraft, the combination unit comprising: a stationary display device comprising a stationary display screen and a bezel surrounding the stationary display screen; and a portable display mounting device disposed on the bezel of the stationary display device, the portable display mounting device adapted to mount the portable display in a mounting position overlying the stationary display screen.

Preferably, the portable display mounting apparatus includes: a mounting base disposed on the bezel below the fixed display screen, the mounting base adapted to support the portable display in the mounted position; and the limiting part is arranged on the frame above and/or at the side edge of the fixed display screen, and is provided with a limiting part which is suitable for being in contact with the portable display to limit the portable display to move away from the installation position.

Preferably, the position limiting member is rotatable between an operating position in which the position limiting portion of the position limiting member is adapted to contact the portable display supported at the mounting position to limit the movement of the portable display away from the mounting position, and a non-operating position in which the position limiting portion is spaced away from the portable display to allow the movement of the portable display away from the mounting position.

Preferably, the position limiting member is configured to slide on the frame along a horizontal direction or a vertical direction of the fixed display device.

Preferably, the limiting member has a locking device, and the locking device is configured to press the limiting portion against the portable display, so that the portable display is closely attached to and covers the fixed display screen.

Preferably, the locking device is a spring, and the stroke of the spring is adapted to the thickness of the portable display.

Preferably, the fixing base has a groove for receiving the bottom of the portable display, and the width of the groove is adapted to the thickness of the portable display.

Preferably, the fixing seat has a stopper at one end or both ends of the groove.

Preferably, the stopper is in the form of a bracket, and the stopper is an end portion of the bracket.

Preferably, the fixed display device and the portable display mounting device are an integrated structure.

Compared with the prior art, the combined device for installing the portable display in the aircraft cockpit has the following advantages:

Detailed Description

The detailed features and advantages of the present invention are described in detail in the detailed description which follows, and will be sufficient for anyone skilled in the art to understand the technical content of the present invention and to implement the present invention, and the related objects and advantages of the present invention will be easily understood by those skilled in the art from the description, claims and drawings disclosed in the present specification.

The invention provides a combined device for mounting a portable display on an aircraft cockpit. The fixed display device includes a fixed display screen and a bezel surrounding the fixed display screen. The portable display mounting device is disposed on a bezel of the stationary display device and is adapted to mount the portable display in a mounting position covering (partially or completely) the stationary display screen. The portable display may be a tablet, ipad, digital display, or the like.

Referring to fig. 1, the combined device for mounting a portable display device in an aircraft cockpit according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention includes a fixed display device 1 and a portable display device mounting device, wherein the portable display device mounting device includes a limiting member 2 disposed on an upper frame of the fixed display device 1 and a fixing member 3 disposed on a lower frame of the fixed display device. The limiting piece is provided with a limiting part which is suitable for being in contact with the portable display so as to limit the portable display to move away from the installation position. The holder can support a portable display (not shown) at an installation position.

In one embodiment, the fixed display screen of the fixed display device plays a role of assisting and stabilizing the portable display while the limit part arranged on the upper/side frame of the fixed display device and the fixed seat arranged on the lower frame of the fixed display device are fixed, so that the problems of displacement and the like of the portable display due to vibration of an airplane cockpit and the like can be avoided.

Referring to fig. 2, in a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the position-limiting member 2 provided on the upper frame of the fixed display device is a rotating bracket that is rotatable about a fulcrum between a limited operating position in which an end portion (i.e., a position-limiting portion) of the rotating bracket is adapted to contact the portable display supported at the mounting position to limit the movement of the portable display from the mounting position, and a non-operating position in which the position-limiting portion is rotated away from the portable display to allow the movement of the portable display from the mounting position. When a pilot uses the fixed display screen, the rotating bracket can rotate to the horizontal direction, so that the visual field of the pilot is not shielded, and the content displayed by the fixed display screen is not shielded; when the pilot uses the portable display, the swivel stand is swiveled to a vertical direction for fixing the portable display. Of course, the rotation range of the rotating bracket is not limited to the above horizontal and vertical ranges, and may be set according to actual conditions as long as the desired function is performed.

In one embodiment, the position-limiting member of the portable display device mounting apparatus in the combined apparatus can be disposed on the upper frame of the fixed display device (refer to fig. 2), and can also be disposed on the side frame of the fixed display device. The limiting member can slide along the horizontal direction or the vertical direction of the fixed display, for example, the limiting member can be realized in the form of a guide rail, a sliding chute and the like, so that the limiting member can be adjusted according to the size of the portable display, and the switching between the transverse view mode and the longitudinal view mode of the portable display can also be realized.

Referring to fig. 3, in a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the fixing base 3 disposed on the lower frame of the fixed display device is a bracket having a groove for receiving the bottom of the portable display, and the shape of the groove is adapted to the thickness of the portable display. Stoppers 5 are provided at both ends of the bracket to prevent the portable display from sliding out of the groove of the bracket. Of course, the stopper may be disposed at both ends of the bracket, or at one end of the bracket, and when disposed at one end, may be engaged with the rotating bracket, for example: the rotary bracket is arranged on the left side of the portable display, and the stop block can be arranged on the right side of the portable display and basically has the same function of preventing the portable display from sliding out.

Referring to fig. 4, in a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the rotating bracket (i.e. the position-limiting member 2) has a spring 4, and the spring 4 is a locking device for pressing one end of the rotating bracket against the portable display, so as to tightly cover the portable display on the fixed display screen. The travel of the spring 4 is adapted to the thickness of the portable display. When the pilot installs the portable display, slide the portable display into the recess of the bracket of fixed display device below, its upper portion is fixed through the runing rest, when fixed, the pilot can turn the runing rest to the inoperative position earlier, puts into the portable display and then turns the runing rest to the operative position, the runing rest presses under the spring action on the portable display to together fix the portable display centre gripping with fixed display device. Of course, the locking device may be a magnet or other forms, and may also play a role in locking and fixing the portable display.

In one embodiment, the fixed display device and the portable display mounting device of the combined device may be an integrated structure.
