(3) reducing the stirring speed, and adding a defoaming agent for defoaming to obtain a prefabricated dispersion liquid c;

(4) and (3) maintaining the stirring speed, adding the humectant and the preservative into the prefabricated dispersion liquid c, adding the rheology modifier, continuously stirring, adding the deionized water b, and filtering to obtain the leather pigment paste with the iridescent effect.

Technical Field

Background

Aqueous leather pigment pastes, which are a generic name for aqueous dispersions of pigments in the leather industry, are the most common type of leather finishing colorant, primarily combined with film-forming leather finishes, and serve primarily to mask minor imperfections and undertones on the leather surface and impart various colors to the leather coating. In terms of color effect, common leather pigment pastes have solid color, double-color effect, fluorescence effect, common pearlescent effect and the like. In recent years, the demand for special colors in the leather fields such as bags and belts is higher and higher, and the iridescent pigment paste has a more fashionable and layered coloring effect, replaces the personalized demand which cannot be met by the common pigment paste, and is bound to be paid attention by the leather industry.

The iridescent effect pigment paste has interference conversion colors similar to rainbow yellow, red, purple, blue and green, the crystal structure of the used pigment is rutile type, and the pigment has good light stability and color migration resistance, but the characteristic of multilayer metal oxide coating of the pigment is not beneficial to anchoring of a dispersing agent and difficult to form stable dispersion by adsorption. Based on the application examples in the automobile paint industry at present, pigment powder is directly added into the automobile paint and is not prefabricated into pigment paste (or color paste) for use; in the leather industry, iridescent effect pigment paste and similar products are not yet available. In addition, the compatibility of different resin systems is different in the actual use process, and the atomization performance is difficult to control. For the technical field, the problem to be solved is to develop an iridescent effect pigment paste with good dispersibility, stable quality and simple process for the water-based coating direction of leather.

Preferably, the leather pigment paste with the iridescent effect comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 57.5 parts of deionized water, 11.5 parts of dispersing agent, 1.25 parts of wetting agent, 1.25 parts of pH regulator, 20 parts of iridescent effect pigment, 0.3 part of foam inhibitor, 1 part of oriented assistant, 3 parts of rheology modifier, 0.3 part of defoaming agent, 3 parts of humectant and 0.3 part of preservative.

Preferably, the wetting agent is one of polyoxyethylene alkylphenol ether, polyoxyethylene fatty alcohol ether or polyoxyethylene polyoxypropylene block copolymer; the pH regulator is triethanolamine, AMP-95 or NH3·H2One or more of O, or a combination of two or more of O; the orientation auxiliary agent is one of water-based polyamide wax, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer or aralkyl modified organic silicon, or the combination of more than two of the water-based polyamide wax, the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer or the aralkyl modified organic silicon; the rheology modifier is one of ethylene glycol distearate, polyacrylate, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, associative polyurethane thickener, fumed silica or hydroxyethyl cellulose; the foam inhibitor is a polyether foam inhibitor; the defoaming agent is one of a water-based mineral oil defoaming agent, an organic silicon defoaming agent or an acetylene glycol defoaming agent, or the combination of more than two of the water-based mineral oil defoaming agent, the organic silicon defoaming agent or the acetylene glycol defoaming agent; the humectant is one of propylene glycol, polyethylene glycol, isopropanol or m-butanediol, or the combination of more than two of the propylene glycol, the polyethylene glycol, the isopropanol or the m-butanediol; the preservative is one of bronopol, Kathon preservative or DCOIT mildew-proof bactericide, or the combination of more than two of the bronopol, the Kathon preservative or the DCOIT mildew-proof bactericide.

(1) dividing the deionized water into two parts to obtain deionized water a and deionized water b; mixing the deionized water a with a dispersing agent, a wetting agent, a foam inhibitor and a pH regulator, and then dispersing and stirring to obtain a prefabricated dispersion liquid a;

(2) increasing the stirring speed, sequentially adding the directional assistant and the iridescent effect pigment, continuously stirring, increasing the stirring speed for the second time, and obtaining a prefabricated dispersion liquid b after stirring;

(3) reducing the stirring speed, and adding a defoaming agent for defoaming to obtain a prefabricated dispersion liquid c;

(4) and (3) maintaining the stirring speed, adding the humectant and the preservative into the prefabricated dispersion liquid c, adding the rheology modifier, continuously stirring, adding the deionized water b, and filtering to obtain the leather pigment paste with the iridescent effect.

Preferably, in the step (1), the weight ratio of the deionized water a to the deionized water b is 40-55: 10.

Preferably, in the step (1), the rotation speed of the dispersion stirring is 200-500 r/min, and the time of the dispersion stirring is 15-60 min.

Preferably, in the step (2), the stirring speed is increased to 500-800 r/min, the continuous stirring time is 30-120 min, and the stirring speed is increased to 800-1200 r/min for the second time.

Preferably, in the step (2), the system particle size of the pre-prepared dispersion liquid b is 30-40 μm.

Preferably, in the step (3), the stirring speed is reduced to 100-300 r/min.

Preferably, in the step (4), the continuous stirring time is 60-70 min.

The invention has the beneficial effects that:

1. the leather pigment paste with the iridescent effect ensures that the iridescent pigment has an excellent dispersion state through scientific proportioning and dispersion processes of all components. The pigment has good stability and is not easy to coarsen, sink and delaminate.
