Technical Field

The invention belongs to the technical field of pipeline valves, and particularly relates to a low-torque ball valve.

Background

In industrial or civil infrastructure, pipelines are often used to transport media. Since the piping is regulated due to a change in pressure or temperature, a regulating mechanism is used in the piping to regulate the flow rate, thereby ensuring optimum working conditions and environmental safety. The ball valve has the advantages of small fluid resistance, simple structure, tightness, reliability, convenient operation, rapid opening and closing, wide application range and the like, and is widely applied to the industrial fields of petroleum, chemical industry, power generation, paper making, atomic energy, aviation, rockets and the like and pipeline medium transportation of daily life. The conventional ball valve generally comprises a valve body, a valve cover, a valve ball, a valve seat and a valve rod, and when the ball valve is used, the valve ball at the lower end of the valve rod is driven to rotate by rotating the valve rod, so that a through hole in the valve ball corresponds to or is staggered with a flow passage of the valve, and the opening or closing of the ball valve is realized. However, under the high-pressure working condition, the sealing force between the valve seat and the valve ball is large, and the torque required when the ball valve is manually operated to open and close is large, so that great labor is consumed.

Disclosure of Invention

It is an object of the present invention to provide a low torque ball valve which can reduce the torque of operation.

In order to achieve the purpose, the invention provides the following technical scheme:

a low-torque ball valve comprises a valve body, wherein a left-right through channel is arranged in the valve body, the left end of the channel is an inlet, the right end of the channel is an outlet, and the pressure of the inlet is greater than that of the outlet; the valve body is internally provided with a mounting hole along the direction vertical to the channel, an upper end cover is arranged at the opening of the upper end of the mounting hole, and a lower end cover is arranged at the opening of the lower end of the mounting hole; a ball core for controlling the on-off of the channel is arranged in the mounting hole; a mandrel with the lower end fixedly connected with the ball core is rotatably connected in the upper end cover, a fan-shaped cutting groove is formed in the upper end cover by taking the mandrel as the center, a baffle plate extending into the fan-shaped cutting groove is arranged on the side surface of the mandrel, a valve block is fixedly mounted at the upper end of the fan-shaped cutting groove on the upper end cover, and the upper end of the mandrel is located in the valve block; the baffle plate divides the fan-shaped cutting groove into a first sealed chamber and a second sealed chamber; the valve block is rotatably connected with a valve disc, when the valve disc rotates to a first position, the first chamber is communicated with the outlet of the passage, the second chamber is communicated with the inlet of the passage, when the valve disc rotates to a second position, the first chamber is communicated with the inlet of the passage, and the second chamber is communicated with the outlet of the passage; a left valve seat is arranged at the left end of the channel in the valve body, and a sealing end of the left valve seat is provided with a sealing element and forms contact sealing with the outer surface of the ball core; the right end of the channel in the valve body is provided with a right valve seat, and the sealing end of the right valve seat is provided with a sealing piece and forms contact sealing with the outer surface of the ball core.

In a further technical scheme, the upper end of the valve block is provided with an installation groove, the valve disc is rotatably connected in the installation groove, the upper end of the installation groove of the valve block is fixedly provided with a cover plate, and the central position of the valve disc is provided with a convex shaft penetrating through the cover plate; a first through hole for communicating the inlet with the bottom of the mounting groove and a second through hole for communicating the outlet with the bottom of the mounting groove are formed in the valve block, the upper end cover and the valve body; a first annular groove and a second annular groove are formed in the side face of the mandrel, and a third through hole and a fourth through hole are formed in the mandrel and are used for communicating the first annular groove with the first cavity and communicating the second annular groove with the second cavity; a fifth through hole for communicating the first annular groove with the bottom of the mounting groove and a sixth through hole for communicating the second annular groove with the bottom of the mounting groove are formed in the valve block; a first communicating groove and a second communicating groove are formed in the lower end face of the valve disc; when the valve disc is at the first position, the first through hole is communicated with the sixth through hole, and the second through hole is communicated with the fifth through hole; when the valve disc is located at the second position, the first through hole is communicated with the fifth through hole, and the second through hole is communicated with the sixth through hole.

In a further technical scheme, a first handle is fixedly installed at the upper end of the protruding shaft.

Advantageous effects

Compared with the prior art, the technical scheme of the invention has the following advantages:

the invention realizes the control of the rotation of the ball core by using the pressure of the medium flowing in the channel, and the first handle only controls the reversing of the fluid medium loop and is not directly connected with the ball core mechanically, so the required control torque is small and the manual operation is convenient.

Detailed Description

Referring to fig. 1-8, a low torque ball valve includes a valve body 7, a left-right through passage 71 is provided in the valve body 7, a left end of the passage 71 is an inlet, and a right end thereof is an outlet, and a pressure of the inlet is greater than a pressure of the outlet; a mounting hole 72 is formed in the valve body 7 along the direction perpendicular to the channel, an upper end cover 6 is mounted at an opening at the upper end of the mounting hole 72 of the valve body 7, and a lower end cover 10 is mounted at an opening at the lower end of the mounting hole 72; the ball core 1 for controlling the on-off of the channel 71 is arranged in the mounting hole 72. A mandrel 4 with the lower end fixedly connected with the ball core 1 is rotatably connected in the upper end cover 6, a fan-shaped cutting groove 61 is formed in the upper end cover 6 by taking the mandrel 4 as the center, a baffle plate 41 extending into the fan-shaped cutting groove 61 is arranged on the side surface of the mandrel 4, a valve block 9 is fixedly mounted at the upper end of the fan-shaped cutting groove 61 on the upper end cover 6, and the upper end of the mandrel 4 is located in the valve block 9; the baffle plate 41 divides the sector-shaped incised slots 61 into a sealed first chamber 412 and a sealed second chamber 411; a valve disc 5 is rotatably connected in the valve block 9, when the valve disc 5 rotates to a second position, the first chamber 412 is communicated with an inlet of the passage 71, the second chamber 411 is communicated with an outlet of the passage 71, when the valve disc 5 rotates to a first position, the first chamber 412 is communicated with the outlet of the passage 71, and the second chamber 411 is communicated with the inlet of the passage 71; a left valve seat 8b is arranged at the left end of the channel in the valve body 7, the sealing end of the left valve seat 8b is provided with a sealing piece 8b1 and forms contact sealing with the outer surface of the ball core 1; the valve body 7 is provided with a right valve seat 8a at the right end of the passage 71, and the sealing end of the right valve seat 8a is provided with a sealing member 8a1 and forms a contact seal with the outer surface of the ball core 1.

The upper end of the valve block 9 is provided with a mounting groove 91, the valve disc 5 is rotatably connected in the mounting groove 91, the valve block 9 is fixedly provided with a cover plate 3 at the upper end of the mounting groove 91, a convex shaft 5 penetrating through the cover plate 3 is arranged at the central position of the valve disc 5, and the upper end of the convex shaft 5 is fixedly provided with a first handle 2; first through holes 9b, 6b and 7b for communicating the inlet with the bottom of the mounting groove 91 and second through holes 9a, 6a and 7a for communicating the outlet with the bottom of the mounting groove 91 are formed in the valve block 9, the upper end cover 6 and the valve body 7; a first ring groove 42 and a second ring groove 43 are arranged on the side surface of the mandrel 4, and a third through hole 4b for communicating the first ring groove 42 with the first chamber 412 and a fourth through hole 4a for communicating the second ring groove 43 with the second chamber 411 are arranged in the mandrel 4; a fifth through hole 9d for communicating the first ring groove 42 with the bottom of the mounting groove 91 and a sixth through hole 9c for communicating the second ring groove 43 with the bottom of the mounting groove 91 are formed in the valve block 9; a first communicating groove 5b and a second communicating groove 5a are formed in the lower end face of the valve disc 5; when the valve disc 5 is at the first position, the first through hole 9b is communicated with the sixth through hole 9c, and the second through hole 9a is communicated with the fifth through hole 9 d; when the valve disc 5 is in the second position, the first through hole 9b communicates with the fifth through hole 9d, and the second through hole 9a communicates with the sixth through hole 9 c.

As depicted in fig. 1, with the low torque ball valve in a closed position, the valve disc 5 is in a first position; when the ball valve needs to be opened, the valve disc 5 is driven to rotate by 90 degrees to a second position through the first handle 2 and the convex shaft 51, at the moment, the first chamber 412 is communicated with an inlet through the third through hole 4b, the first annular groove 42, the fifth through hole 9d, the first connecting groove 5b and the first through hole, the second chamber 411 is communicated with an outlet through the fourth through hole 4a, the second annular groove 43, the sixth through hole 9c, the second connecting groove 5a and the second through hole, pressure liquid at the inlet enters the first chamber 412 to push the baffle plate 41 to rotate, the baffle plate 41 drives the mandrel 4 to rotate when rotating, the mandrel 4 drives the ball core 1 to rotate, the channel 71 is opened by rotating by 90 degrees, and therefore the opening of the ball valve is completed.

As depicted in fig. 5, with the low torque ball valve in the open state, the valve disc 5 is in the second position; when the ball valve needs to be closed, the valve disc 5 is driven to rotate by 90 degrees to a first position through the first handle 2 and the convex shaft 51, at the moment, the first cavity 412 is communicated with the outlet through the third through hole 4b, the first annular groove 42, the fifth through hole 9d, the first connecting groove 5b and the second through hole, the second cavity 411 is communicated with the outlet through the fourth through hole 4a, the second annular groove 43, the sixth through hole 9c, the second connecting groove 5a and the first through hole, pressure liquid at the inlet enters the second cavity 411 to push the baffle 41 to rotate reversely, the baffle 41 drives the mandrel 4 to rotate reversely when rotating reversely, the mandrel 4 drives the ball core 1 to rotate, the channel 71 is closed by rotating by 90 degrees, and therefore the closing of the ball valve is completed.
