In the disclosed technical scheme for eliminating formaldehyde, a strong oxidant and a strong acid-base formaldehyde scavenger can corrode the surfaces of hardware and paint in the using process; some latex paints with aldehyde-removing and antibacterial effects are added with heavy metal oxides or pyrethroids harmful to human bodies and substances with poor water solubility and the like as aldehyde-removing active ingredients.
