The welding process is often used in the transformer box manufacturing process, generally, the welding seam needs to be detected after welding operation is finished, including airtight test or nondestructive test, in addition, appearance detection of the welding seam is also one of important links, the height of the welding seam is measured by means of a standard template and a gauge in a current common mode, however, angles of a welding face in actual production are various, the standard template is difficult to be suitable for measuring the welding seam at various angles, or a large number of templates at different angles need to be prepared, the mode has difficulty for field management, and along with abrasion of the templates, the measurement precision is difficult to guarantee.

The calibrator 30 includes a first clamping plate 31, a smooth rail 32, a set screw 33, a calibration point 34, a second clamping plate 35 and a circular guide rod 36, the first clamping plate 31 is tightly attached to a bottom surface of the bottom plate 11 during calibration, the bottom of the first clamping plate 31 has the circular guide rail 32, the circular guide rod 36 is installed in the circular guide rail 32 in a sleeved manner, the smooth rail 32 and the circular guide rod 36 are concentric, the circular guide rod 36 is installed on the second clamping plate 35, the smooth rail 32 and the circular guide rod 36 are mutually matched to realize angle adjustment within 180 degrees, the centers of the smooth rail 32 and the circular guide rod 36 are always located at an intersection point of extension lines of the first clamping plate 31 and the second clamping plate 35, and a person skilled in the art can easily understand the geometric relationship based on the above description and with reference to fig. 2, the end of the smooth rail 32, after the relative positions of the smooth rail 32 and the round guide rod 36 are adjusted to the right, the round guide rod 36 is locked by the set screw 33. Then two butterfly nuts 13 are loosened, so that the positioner 10 and the measuring part 20 are in a free rotation state, the bottom plates 11 of the two positioners 10 are tightly attached to the first clamping plate 31 and the second clamping plate 35, and the conical head 27 of the thimble 26 is adjusted to abut against the calibration point 34, as can be seen from a simple geometric relationship, the thimble 26 is located on an angular bisector of the two bottom plates 11 at this time, the butterfly nut 13 is locked, the positioner 10 and the measuring part 20 cannot rotate relatively any more, at this time, the zero cylinder 24 is adjusted, so that the zero boss 25 indicates a zero position of a length scale line of the thimble 26, at this time, calibration is performed, the butterfly nut 13 is kept in a locking state, the zero cylinder 24 is kept to be fixed, the positioner 10 and the measuring part 20 are integrally moved to a welding part to be measured, the two bottom plates 11 are respectively abutted against the side walls on two sides of the welding line, the thimble 26 is pushed, the conical head 27 abuts against the welding line, and a value corresponding to the zero, the height of the welding seam can be easily obtained, whether the welding seam belongs to a convex welding seam or a concave welding seam is judged, and whether the appearance of the welding seam is qualified or not is judged according to the welding technical requirements. If necessary, the measurement can be carried out for multiple times, and then the statistical height of the welding seam is obtained by using a statistical method.
