the stretchable sheet is positioned on the non-skin side in the thickness direction of the first waist part with respect to the absorbent main body, and

in the lower end portion of the stretchable sheet,

the folded portion of the stretchable sheet overlaps the absorbent main body in the up-down direction.

Technical Field

The present invention relates to an absorbent article.

Background

Pants-type disposable diapers are known as examples of absorbent articles. Patent document 1 discloses a pants-type disposable diaper in which an absorbent body is disposed across between a front body outer cover and a back body outer cover, and both widthwise side edges of the front body outer cover and the back body outer cover are joined to each other to form a waist opening. In the front-body exterior assembly and the back-body exterior assembly, the waist elastic member is fixed in an extended state between the inner sheet and the outer sheet (non-stretchable sheet).

Disclosure of Invention

Problems to be solved by the invention

In patent document 1, a linear elastic member is given as an example of the waist elastic member, but by using an elastic sheet instead, the front-body exterior body and the back-body exterior body (waist portion) can be brought into close contact with the wearer. Therefore, this can suppress the elastic member from leaving marks on the skin of the wearer.

Further, appropriately reducing the stretching force in the waist opening side end portion of the stretchable sheet allows the waist opening to be easily opened when the diaper is put on, and allows the diaper to be easily put on. However, if the stretching force in the crotch-side end portion of the stretchable sheet is also reduced to match the waistline opening side, there is a risk of positional deviation of the absorbent main body.

The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned conventional problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide an absorbent article capable of suppressing the positional deviation of an absorbent main body while maintaining the ability of a waistline opening to be easily opened.

Means for solving the problems

A principal aspect of the present invention for achieving the above object is an absorbent article having an up-down direction and a left-right direction, the absorbent article comprising: an absorbent main body; a first waist portion; and a second waist portion, the first waist portion including a stretchable sheet and a non-stretchable sheet, the stretchable sheet being stretchable in the left-right direction, the non-stretchable sheet being layered on the stretchable sheet, a lower end portion of the stretchable sheet being folded upward, a number of layers of the stretchable sheet in a lower end portion of the stretchable sheet being greater than a number of layers in an upper end portion of the stretchable sheet.

Other features of the present invention will become apparent from the description of the specification and the drawings.

ADVANTAGEOUS EFFECTS OF INVENTION

According to the present invention, it is possible to provide an absorbent article that can suppress positional displacement of an absorbent main body while maintaining the ability of a waistline opening to be easily opened.

Detailed Description

At least the following matters will become clear from the description of the present specification and the accompanying drawings.

An absorbent article having a top-bottom direction and a left-right direction, the absorbent article comprising: an absorbent main body; a first waist portion; and a second waist portion, the first waist portion including a stretchable sheet and a non-stretchable sheet, the stretchable sheet being stretchable in the left-right direction, the non-stretchable sheet being layered on the stretchable sheet, a lower end portion of the stretchable sheet being folded upward, a number of layers of the stretchable sheet in a lower end portion of the stretchable sheet being greater than a number of layers in an upper end portion of the stretchable sheet.

According to this absorbent article, the number of layers in the upper end portion of the stretchable sheet is small, and therefore the waist opening can be maintained to be easily opened. In addition, since the number of layers in the lower end portion of the stretchable sheet is large, the positional deviation of the absorbent main body can be suppressed.

In such an absorbent article, the folded portion of the stretchable sheet does not overlap the absorbent main body in the vertical direction at the lower end portion of the stretchable sheet.

According to this absorbent article, the portion of the first waist portion near the absorbent main body can be brought into close contact with the wearer by the folded portion of the stretchable sheet, and thus the positional deviation of the absorbent main body caused by the positional deviation of the first waist portion can be suppressed. In addition, the stretching force in the folded portion of the stretchable sheet is less likely to be hindered by the highly rigid absorbent main body.

In such an absorbent article, the stretchable sheet is positioned on the non-skin side in the thickness direction of the first waist body portion with respect to the absorbent main body, and the folded portion of the stretchable sheet overlaps the absorbent main body in the vertical direction at the lower end portion of the stretchable sheet.

According to this absorbent article, the folded portion of the stretchable sheet can bring the absorbent main body into close contact with the wearer from the non-skin side, and can suppress the positional displacement of the absorbent main body.

In such an absorbent article, the stretchable sheet is positioned on the skin side in the thickness direction of the first waist portion with respect to the absorbent main body, and the folded portion of the stretchable sheet overlaps the absorbent main body in the up-down direction in the lower end portion of the stretchable sheet.

According to this absorbent article, the upper end (edge) of the absorbent main body can be covered with the stretchable sheet positioned on the skin side, and the wearer can be inhibited from feeling a foreign body.

In such an absorbent article, the absorbent main body includes an absorbent core configured to absorb the excretory fluid, and the folded section of the stretchable sheet does not overlap with the absorbent core in the up-down direction.

According to this absorbent article, the stretching force in the folded portion of the stretchable sheet is less likely to be hindered by the absorbent core having high rigidity. Therefore, the positional deviation of the absorbent main body can be suppressed.

In such an absorbent article, the folded portion of the stretchable sheet is provided so as to extend across the upper end of the absorbent main body in the up-down direction.

According to this absorbent article, the number of material layers in the vicinity of the upper end of the absorbent main body can be gradually changed, and the wearer can be prevented from feeling a foreign body.

In such an absorbent article, the absorbent main body includes an absorbent core configured to absorb the excretory fluid, and the folded portion of the stretchable sheet overlaps with the absorbent core in the up-down direction.

According to this absorbent article, when the stretchable sheet is positioned on the non-skin side of the absorbent main body, the folded portion of the stretchable sheet can bring the absorbent core into close contact with the wearer from the non-skin side and can suppress positional displacement of the absorbent main body. In addition, in the case where the stretchable sheet is positioned on the skin side of the absorbent main body, the upper end (edge) of the absorbent core can be covered with the stretchable sheet positioned on the skin side, and the wearer can be inhibited from feeling a foreign object.

In such an absorbent article, the folded section of the stretchable sheet is provided so as to extend across the upper end of the absorbent core in the up-down direction.

According to this absorbent article, the number of material layers in the vicinity of the upper end of the absorbent core can be gradually changed, and the wearer can be prevented from feeling a foreign object.

In such an absorbent article, both side end portions of the first waist portion in the left-right direction are welded to both side end portions of the second waist portion in the left-right direction in a state where the lower end portion of the stretchable sheet is folded back.

According to this absorbent article, the folded state of the lower end portion of the stretchable sheet can be maintained.

Embodiments of the present invention are described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings

An embodiment of the absorbent article according to the present invention will be described below taking a pants-type disposable diaper for infants as an example. Note that the absorbent article according to the present invention is not limited to disposable diapers for infants, and may be applied to disposable diapers for adults and sanitary shorts, for example. Further, it is applicable not only to pants-type disposable diapers but also to, for example, open-type disposable diapers.

Fig. 1 is a perspective view of a pants-type disposable diaper 1 (hereinafter, referred to as "diaper"). Fig. 2 is a plan view of the diaper 1 in an unfolded and extended state. Fig. 3 is a sectional view taken along line I-I in fig. 2.

In the state of the pants shape shown in fig. 1, the diaper 1 has up-down and left-right directions, and includes a waist opening BH and a pair of leg openings LH. The hip opening BH side is an upper side and the crotch side is a lower side with respect to the up-down direction. As shown in fig. 3, the thickness direction refers to a direction in which the constituent members of the diaper 1 are stacked on each other, the skin side refers to a side that contacts the wearer in the thickness direction, and the non-skin side refers to a side that does not contact the wearer in the thickness direction.

The diaper 1 further includes an absorbent main body 10, a ventral waistline portion 20, and a dorsal waistline portion 30, which are three members that are rectangular in plan view. The abdomen-side waistline portion 20 (first waistline portion) is in contact with the abdomen-side region of the wearer, and the back-side waistline portion 30 (second waistline portion) is in contact with the back-side region of the wearer.

When the diaper 1 is in the developed state shown in fig. 2, the abdominal-side waistline portion 20 and the back-side waistline portion 30 are disposed so that the longitudinal direction thereof coincides with the left-right direction of the diaper 1. One end in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent main body 10 is disposed in the center portion with respect to the left-right direction of the abdomen-side waistline portion 20, and the other end in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent main body 10 is disposed in the center portion with respect to the left-right direction of the back-side waistline portion 30.

When the diaper 1 is in the unfolded state shown in fig. 2, the absorbent main body 10 is folded once at substantially the center in the longitudinal direction so that the longitudinal direction of the absorbent main body 10 coincides with the up-down direction of the diaper 1. Both side end portions of the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 in the left-right direction of the diaper 1 are joined to both side end portions of the back-side waistline portion 30 by using heat fusion, ultrasonic fusion, or the like to form a pair of joined regions 2, thereby obtaining the diaper 1 in a state of an underwear shape shown in fig. 1.

As shown in fig. 3, the absorbent body 10 includes an absorbent body 11, a liquid-permeable front sheet 12 disposed on the skin side of the absorbent body 11, a liquid-impermeable back sheet 13 disposed on the non-skin side of the absorbent body 11, and an exterior sheet 14 disposed on the non-skin side of the back sheet 13.

The absorbent body 11 includes an absorbent core 11A that absorbs and holds discharged liquid such as urine, and a liquid-permeable core-wrapping sheet 11B that covers the absorbent core 11A. For example, the absorbent core 11A is composed of liquid absorbent fibers (such as pulp containing Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP)) molded into a predetermined shape.

Further, as shown in fig. 2, leg elastic members 15 are provided on both side portions in the left-right direction of the absorbent main body 10, thereby allowing the diaper 1 to fit the legs of the wearer. For example, the leg elastic members 15 are fixed between two layers of the exterior sheets 14 folded inward in the left-right direction in a state of being stretched in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent main body 10. The leg elastic member 15 is a linear elastic member, an elastic sheet, or the like.

As shown in fig. 3, the abdominal-side waistline portion 20 and the back-side waistline portion 30 respectively include inner layer sheets 21 and 31, outer layer sheets 22 and 32 respectively laminated on the inner layer sheets 21 and 31, and a plurality of linear elastic members 23 and 33.

The outer sheets 22 and 32 are disposed on the non-skin side of the inner sheets 21 and 31. The inner sheets 21 and 31 and the outer sheets 22 and 32 are disposed on the non-skin side of the absorbent main body 10. It should be noted that the upper end portions 221 and 321 of the outer sheets 22 and 32 are folded down in such a manner as to cover the lengthwise ends of the absorbent main body 10 from the skin side.

The inner sheets 21 and 31 and the outer sheets 22 and 32 are each a non-stretchable sheet having substantially no stretchability in the left-right direction of the diaper 1. The inner sheets 21 and 31 and the outer sheets 22 and 32 may be composed of an SMS nonwoven sheet (spunbond/meltblown/spunbond nonwoven sheet), a spunbond nonwoven sheet, an air-permeable nonwoven sheet, a plastic sheet, a porous plastic sheet, or a laminate sheet including any of the above layers.

The linear elastic members 23 and 33 are arranged side by side in the up-down direction between the inner layer sheets 21 and 31 and the outer layer sheets 22 and 32, respectively, and are fixed in a state of being elongated in the left-right direction. Therefore, the abdominal-side waistline portion 20 and the back-side waistline portion 30 can be stretched in the right-left direction so as to fit the waistline of the wearer. The linear elastic members 23 and 33 may be constituted by linear elastic members made of rubber, spandex, or the like.

In the back-side waistline portion 30, the linear elastic member 33 is disposed in a range from the upper end portion to the lower end portion. However, the upper end portion of the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 is not provided with the linear elastic member 23, but is provided with a stretchable sheet 24 having stretchability in the left-right direction. Note that, in the present embodiment, although the lower end portion of the stretchable sheet 24 overlaps the linear elastic member 23 in the vertical direction, the overlapping is not essential.

According to the structure in which the upper end portion of the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 is provided with the stretchable sheet 24 without providing the linear elastic member 23, the upper end portion of the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 is in close contact with the wearer's ground. Therefore, this suppresses local strangulation, and can suppress the trace formation by the telescopic member. In particular, the infant has an abdominal region that swells, and therefore it is advantageous to suppress the contraction of the abdomen-side waist portion 20.

Further, the stretching force in the upper end portions of the waistline portions 20 and 30 greatly affects the ability of the waistline opening BH to be easily opened when the diaper 1 is put on. The stretchable sheet 24 has a property of being easily stretched from a natural state but being hardly contracted from the stretched state. Therefore, by providing the stretchable sheet 24 at the upper end portion of the abdominal-side waistline portion 20, it is possible to more easily open the waistline opening BH when putting on the diaper 1, and also to prevent strangulation of the abdominal-side region after the waistline portions 20 and 30 have fitted to the wearer.

The stretchable sheet 24 may be constituted of a stretchable fibrous nonwoven fabric sheet manufactured by any of various known manufacturing methods, such as by having a mass of 10g/m2To 40g/m2Or more preferably 15g/m2To 30g/m2A spunbonded nonwoven fabric sheet, an air-permeable nonwoven fabric sheet, a needle-punched nonwoven fabric sheet, etc. comprising the elastic fibers. The raw material constituting the elastic fiber is a thermoplastic elastomer, rubber, or the like. In particular, when the raw material is a thermoplastic elastomer, melt spinning can be performed using an extruder as in the case of a general thermoplastic resin. The fibers thus obtained can be easily heat-welded, which is advantageous for a stretchable fiber nonwoven sheet. Examples of the thermoplastic elastomer include styrene elastomers, olefin elastomers, polyester elastomers, and polyurethane elastomers. Any of the above may be used alone, or two or more of them may be used in combination. The stretch sheet only needs to exhibit elasticity at least in the left-right direction, and may exhibit elasticity in two or more directions. The stretch ratio of the stretchable sheet 24 in the left-right direction is preferably about 1.2 times to 3.0 times.

Note that the configuration of the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 is schematically shown in fig. 4 and 5, and the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 is depicted thicker than it is actually. This also applies to the cross-sectional views described later. In addition, the linear elastic member 23 is not shown in fig. 6.

As described above, the abdominal-side waistline portion 20 includes the inner layer sheet 21, the outer layer sheet 22, and the stretchable sheet 24. In the state in process (fig. 4), the outer sheet 22, the inner sheet 21, and the stretchable sheet 24 are laminated in this order from the non-skin side in the thickness direction.

As shown in fig. 6, the inner layer sheet 21, the outer layer sheet 22, and the stretchable sheet 24 have first ends 21a, 22a, and 24a and second ends 21b, 22b, and 24b extending in the left-right direction, respectively. In the product state (fig. 5), the first ends 21a, 22a and 24a of the sheets are located at a higher level than the second ends 21b, 22b and 24 b.

The inner layer sheet 21 and the outer layer sheet 22 are joined together with an adhesive (not shown) applied therebetween. The inner layer sheet 21 and the outer layer sheet 22 correspond to the non-stretchable sheet of the present invention. Hereinafter, the inner layer sheet 21 and the outer layer sheet 22 are also collectively referred to as a non-stretchable sheet.

In the state in process of production (fig. 4), the position of the first end 21a of the inner layer sheet 21 and the position of the first end 24a of the stretchable sheet 24 are aligned with each other in the up-down direction. The outer sheet 22 extends to a position higher than the inner sheet 21 and the stretchable sheet 24.

In the product state (fig. 5), the outer sheet 22 has been folded downward at a folding position F corresponding to the positions of the first end 21a of the inner sheet 21 and the first end 24a of the stretchable sheet 24. The folded portion 221 of the outer sheet 22 covers the longitudinal end of the absorbent main body 10 on the skin side. Also, the folded portion 221 of the outer sheet 22 is fixed to the absorbent main body 10 using the adhesive 42.

Further, an adhesive 41 such as a hot melt adhesive is applied between the non-stretchable sheet (inner layer sheet 21 and outer layer sheet 22) and the stretchable sheet 24. The stretchable sheet 24 is fixed to the non-stretchable sheets 21 and 22 by the adhesive 41. As shown in fig. 6, the coated area coated with the adhesive 41 is a rectangular area in a plan view. Hereinafter, the application region to which the adhesive 41 is applied is also referred to as a fixing portion 41.

Note that the adhesive 41 may be applied only in a part of the application area where the adhesive 41 is applied, or the adhesive 41 may be applied to the entire application area. The coating pattern of the adhesive 41 may be a known pattern such as a stripe pattern, a spiral pattern, or an Ω pattern. In addition, the planar shape of the application region to which the adhesive 41 is applied is not limited to a rectangle. Further, the fixing portion may be a welded region where the stretchable sheet 24 is fixed to the non-stretchable sheets 21 and 22 by thermal welding, ultrasonic welding, or the like.

As shown in fig. 6, the fixing portion 41 has a first end 41a and a second end 41b extending in the left-right direction. In the product state (fig. 5), the first end 41a of the fixing portion 41 is located at a higher position than the second end 41 b.

The fixing portion 41 extends in the vertical direction across the first end 24a of the stretchable sheet 24. Specifically, in the state in process of production (fig. 4), the fixing portion 41 is located between the stretchable sheet 24 and the inner sheet 21, and extends beyond the first end 24a of the stretchable sheet 24 to a position on the skin-side surface of the outer sheet 22. Therefore, in the product state (fig. 5), a part of the fixing portion 41 is folded down along with the folding of the outer sheet 22, and the fixing portion 41 covers the first end 24a of the stretchable sheet 24 from above. Therefore, in the product state (fig. 5), the fixing portion 41 extends across the first end 24a of the stretchable sheet 24 in the up-down direction.

Since the fixing portion 41 is provided in this manner, the portion of the stretchable sheet 24 on the first end 24a side and extending to the first end 24a is fixed to the non-stretchable sheets 21 and 22. Therefore, it is possible to suppress a situation in which the first end 24a side portion of the stretchable sheet 24 is curled and folded downward by the contraction force of the stretchable sheet 24 during production.

Note that the position of the first end 41a of the fixing portion 41 and the position of the first end 24a of the stretchable sheet 24 may be aligned with each other in the up-down direction. However, providing the fixing portion 41 so as to extend across the first end 24a of the stretchable sheet 24 makes it possible to more reliably suppress curling of the first end 24 a-side portion of the stretchable sheet 24.

The method of manufacturing the diaper 1 does not include the step of folding the first end 24a side portion of the stretchable sheet 24. Therefore, in the upper end portion of the stretchable sheet 24, the stretchable sheet 24 is not folded downward, and there is one layer of the stretchable sheet 24.

The fixing portion 41 does not extend across the second end 24b of the stretchable sheet 24 in the vertical direction. Specifically, when the stretchable sheet 24 is fixed to the non-stretchable sheets 21 and 22 (fig. 4), the second end 41b of the fixing portion 41 is located at a higher position than the second end 24b of the stretchable sheet 24. In other words, the fixing portion 41 is not provided at the portion of the stretchable sheet 24 on the second end 24b side. Therefore, during production, the portion of the stretchable sheet 24 on the second end 24b side curls due to the contraction force of the stretchable sheet 24.

It is considered that such curling occurs due to local contraction of the stretchable sheet 24 caused by a slight difference in the manner of action of tension on the stretchable sheet 24 during transportation after the stretchable sheet 24 is fixed to the non-stretchable sheets 21 and 22 in the process of manufacturing the diaper 1. The curling is also considered to occur when the stretchable sheet 24 is temporarily stretched in the width direction intersecting the stretching direction of the stretchable sheet 24.

In addition, the second end 24b side portion of the stretchable sheet 24 overlaps with the absorbent main body 10 or is located in the vicinity of the absorbent main body 10. Therefore, in the product state (fig. 5), the second end 24b side portion of the stretchable sheet 24 is not only curled and raised in the thickness direction but also folded upward. Specifically, the second end 24b side portion of the stretchable sheet 24 is folded upward at the lower end 41b of the fixing portion 41.

Note that the stretchable sheet 24 may be folded in such a manner as to form a fold line extending in the left-right direction, or may be folded in such a manner that the lower end of the stretchable sheet 24 is bent (i.e., curled), as shown in fig. 5.

The method of manufacturing the diaper 1 does not include the step of folding the second end 24b side portion of the stretchable sheet 24. Therefore, at the lower end of the stretchable sheet 24, there are two layers of the stretchable sheet 24.

In other words, the number of layers of the stretchable sheet 24 is greater in the lower end portion than in the upper end portion of the stretchable sheet 24. As the number of layers of the stretchable sheet 24 increases due to folding, the stretching force in the left-right direction increases by an amount commensurate with the folded portion of the stretchable sheet 24.

Therefore, the stretching force in the left-right direction is smaller in the upper end portion of the stretchable sheet 24, that is, the end portion on the waistline opening BH side than in the lower end portion. In other words, in the upper end portion of the stretchable sheet 24, the curling of the stretchable sheet 24 is suppressed, and the stretching force is appropriately suppressed according to the design. This therefore makes it possible to maintain the ability to easily open the waistline opening BH when putting on the diaper 1, and to prevent the abdomen area of the wearer from being pinched.

In particular, the ease with which the waistline opening BH opens is greatly affected by the stretching force of the upper end portions of the waistline portions 20 and 30. Therefore, when the stretchable sheet 24 is provided at the upper end portion of the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 as in the diaper 1 of the present embodiment, it is particularly preferable to reduce the number of layers of the stretchable sheet 24 at the upper end portion. This therefore makes the opening of the waistline opening BH easier.

Note that the stretchable sheet 24 provided in the upper end portion of the abdominal-side waistline portion 20 refers to a case where at least a part of the stretchable sheet 24 is located at a position higher than the center CL (see fig. 5) in the vertical direction of the abdominal-side waistline portion 20. More preferably, the entire stretchable sheet 24 is located at a position higher than the center CL in the vertical direction of the abdomen-side waistline portion 20.

On the other hand, the lower end portion of the stretchable sheet 24, i.e., the end portion located on the crotch side, has a greater stretching force in the left-right direction than the upper end portion. Specifically, the stretching force is set to be large in the portion of the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 overlapping the absorbent main body 10 and in the vicinity of the absorbent main body 10. Therefore, this can suppress the positional deviation of the absorbent main body 10. Specifically, the positional displacement of the absorbent main body 10 caused by the movement of the wearer can be suppressed, and the sagging of the absorbent main body 10 caused by the absorption of the excretory fluid can be suppressed. This therefore enables maintaining the fit of the absorbent main body to the wearer and reducing leakage of excreta. Further, for example, the wearer does not feel discomfort and can walk more easily.

Further, the stretching force in the lower end portions of the waistline portions 20 and 30 has less influence on the ease with which the waistline opening BH opens than the stretching force in the upper end portions. Therefore, even if the two-layer stretchable sheet 24 is present in the lower end portion, the ease with which the waistline opening BH is opened can be maintained.

Further, the following configuration is possible: the fixing portion 41 is provided to extend across the second end 24b of the stretchable sheet 24 in the up-down direction, and the manufacturing method of the diaper 1 may include a folding step of folding the second end 24b side portion of the stretchable sheet 24. Even in this case, the number of layers of the stretchable sheet 24 in the lower end portion may be set to be larger than that in the upper end portion. It should be noted that by utilizing the contractive force of the stretchable sheet 24 and folding the second end 24b side portion of the stretchable sheet 24 as described above, the stretchability force in the lower end portion of the stretchable sheet 24 can be increased without increasing the complexity of the manufacturing process of the diaper 1.

In the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 in fig. 5, a portion of the stretchable sheet 24 which has been folded back (hereinafter also referred to as a folded portion 241) is located higher than the upper end 10a of the absorbent main body 10 in the lower end portion of the stretchable sheet 24. In other words, the folded portion 241 does not overlap the absorbent main body 10 in the up-down direction. Note that the folded portion 241 is specifically a portion extending from the portion 24c of the stretchable sheet 24 in contact with the second end 41b of the fixed portion 41 to the second end 24b of the stretchable sheet 24.

In this case, the folded portion 241 can bring the portion of the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 near the absorbent main body 10 into close contact with the body of the wearer, thereby suppressing the positional deviation of the absorbent main body 10 caused by the positional deviation of the abdomen-side waistline portion 20. Therefore, this can maintain the fit of the absorbent main body 10 to the wearer and reduce leakage of excrement. Also, the expansion and contraction force of the folded portion 241 is less likely to be hindered by the absorbent main body 10 having higher rigidity. Therefore, this can suppress the positional deviation of the absorbent main body 10.

The pants-type diaper 1 has a pair of joined regions 2, and both right and left side end portions of the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 are joined to both right and left side end portions of the back-side waistline portion 30 in the pair of joined regions 2 by welding. As shown in fig. 6, it is preferable that the stretchable sheet 24 is provided to extend outward in the left-right direction with respect to the position where the joining region 2 is formed. Further, the joint region 2 is preferably formed in a state where the second end 24b side portion of the stretchable sheet 24 is folded upward in the lower end portion of the stretchable sheet 24. According to this configuration, the folded state of the second end 24b side portion of the stretchable sheet 2 is maintained, and the positional displacement of the absorbent main body 10 can be suppressed when the diaper 1 is put on. Therefore, this can maintain the fit of the absorbent main body 10 to the wearer and reduce leakage of excrement.

A method for producing a composite material

Fig. 7A and 7B are sectional views of modifications of the abdominal-side waistline portion 20. Fig. 7A is a view showing the abdominal-side waistline portion 20 in an in-production state, and fig. 7B is a view showing the abdominal-side waistline portion 20 in a product state. As shown in fig. 7B, in the abdominal-side waistline portion 20, the stretchable sheet 24 can be fixed to the portion 221 of the outer sheet 22 which has been folded down by the fixing portion 41.

In this case, in the in-production state (fig. 7A), the lower end 24a of the stretchable sheet 24 is the first end 24a of the stretchable sheet 24, and the fixing portion 41 extends downward beyond the lower end 24a of the stretchable sheet 24. According to this configuration, in the product state (fig. 10B), the stretchable sheet 24 is less likely to curl in the upper end portion thereof, and has one layer of the stretchable sheet 24 in the upper end portion thereof.

In addition, in the state in production (fig. 7A), the upper end 24b of the stretchable sheet 24 is the second end 24b of the stretchable sheet 24, and the fixing portion 41 is not provided at the second end 24b side portion of the stretchable sheet 24. According to this configuration, in the product state (fig. 10B), the stretchable sheet 24 is folded upward in its lower end portion, and has two layers of the stretchable sheet 24 in its lower end portion.

Similarly, in the case of fig. 7B, the stretchable sheet 24 has a plurality of layers in the lower end portion of the stretchable sheet 24 than in the upper end portion. Therefore, this can suppress the positional deviation of the absorbent main body 10 while also maintaining the ease of opening the waistline opening BH. Therefore, this can maintain the fit of the absorbent main body 10 to the wearer and reduce leakage of excrement.

In fig. 5 and 7B, the stretchable sheet 24 has one layer in the upper end portion and two layers in the lower end portion of the stretchable sheet 24, but the number of layers is not particularly limited. For example, a configuration may be possible in which there is one layer of the stretchable sheet 24 in the upper end portion of the stretchable sheet 24 and three layers of the stretchable sheet in the lower end portion thereof, and a configuration may be possible in which there are two layers of the stretchable sheet 24 in the upper end portion of the stretchable sheet 24 and three layers of the stretchable sheet in the lower end portion thereof.

Although not shown, the following structure is possible: the fixing portion 41 is not provided at the first end 24a side portion of the stretchable sheet 24, and the first end 24a side portion of the stretchable sheet 24 is curled and folded in the up-down direction. In addition, the manufacturing method of the diaper 1 may include a step of folding the first end 24a side portion of the stretchable sheet 24, or a step of folding the second end 24b side portion of the stretchable sheet 24. In these cases, it is sufficient if the number of layers of the stretchable sheet 24 in the lower end portion of the stretchable sheet 24 is larger than that in the upper end portion thereof.

Fig. 8 to 11 are sectional views of modifications of the abdomen-side waistline portion 20, and show the position of the folded portion 241 of the stretchable sheet 24 in the up-down direction. Note that in fig. 8A, 9A, 10A, and 11A, the folded portion 241 is located on the non-skin side of the absorbent main body 10. On the other hand, in fig. 8B, 9B, 10B, and 11B, the folded portion 241 is located on the skin side of the absorbent main body 10.

In the abdominal-side waistline portion 20 in fig. 8A and 8B, the folded portion 241 of the stretchable sheet 24 is located at a position lower than the upper end 10a of the absorbent main body 10 and also located at a position higher than the upper end 11Aa of the absorbent core 11A. In other words, the folded portion 241 overlaps the upper end portion of the absorbent main body 10 (the front sheet 12, the back sheet 13, the exterior sheet 14, and the core wrapping sheet 11B) in the vertical direction, but does not overlap the absorbent core 11A.

Also, the folded portion 241 in fig. 8A is located on the non-skin side of the absorbent main body 10. Therefore, the folded portion 241 can bring the upper end portion of the absorbent main body 10 into close contact with the wearer from the non-skin side, and can suppress positional deviation of the absorbent main body 10. Therefore, this can maintain the fit of the absorbent main body 10 to the wearer and reduce leakage of excrement.

On the other hand, the folded portion 241 in fig. 8B is located on the skin side of the absorbent main body 10. In this case as well, the portion of the abdominal-side waistline portion 20 that overlaps the upper end portion of the absorbent main body 10 can be brought into close contact with the wearer by the folded portion 241, and the positional deviation of the absorbent main body 10 can be suppressed. In fig. 8B, the stretchable sheet 24 covers the skin side of the upper end 10a of the absorbent main body 10 together with the outer sheet 22. Therefore, the wearer is less likely to feel the upper end 10a (edge) of the absorbent main body 10, and the wearer can be restrained from feeling something else.

In addition, the region of the absorbent main body 10 where the absorbent core 11A is provided has higher rigidity than the region where the absorbent core 11A is not provided. Therefore, in the case shown in fig. 8A and 8B, the stretching force of the folded portion 241 is less likely to be hindered by the absorbent core 11A having higher rigidity.

In the abdominal-side waistline portion 20 in fig. 9A and 9B, the folded portion 241 of the stretchable sheet 24 extends in the up-down direction across the upper end 10a of the absorbent main body 10. In this case, the number of material layers in the vicinity of the upper end 10a of the absorbent main body 10 can be gradually changed.

Specifically, the number of material layers may increase from the upper side to the lower side, that is, there are a region having one layer of the stretchable sheet 24, a region having two layers of the stretchable sheet 24 (folded portion 241), and a region of the absorbent main body 10 laminated to a portion having two layers of the stretchable sheet 24 (folded portion 241). Therefore, the difference in height and the difference in rigidity between the region having the absorbent main body 10 and the region not having the absorbent main body 10 can be reduced, and the wearer can be inhibited from feeling foreign matter.

In particular, in fig. 9B, the folded portion 241 of the stretchable sheet 24 covers the skin side of the upper end 10a of the absorbent main body 10. Therefore, the wearer is less likely to feel the upper end 10a (edge) of the absorbent main body 10 even to a greater extent than in the case shown in fig. 8B, and the wearer can be restrained from feeling something.

In the abdominal-side waistline portion 20 in fig. 10A and 10B, the folded portion 241 of the stretchable sheet 24 is located at a position lower than the upper end 11Aa of the absorbent core 11A. In other words, the folded portion 241 overlaps the absorbent core 11A in the up-down direction.

Also, the folded portion 241 in fig. 10A is located on the non-skin side of the absorbent core 11A. Therefore, the folded portion 241 can bring the absorbent core 11A into close contact with the wearer from the non-skin side, so that the positional deviation of the absorbent main body 10 can be suppressed. In addition, since the absorbent core 11A becomes heavy when absorbing the excretory fluid, the portion of the absorbent main body 10 where the absorbent core 11A is provided is most likely to be displaced. Therefore, in fig. 10A, the portion of the absorbent main body 10 where the positional deviation is most likely to occur may be in close contact with the wearer. Therefore, this can maintain the fit of the absorbent main body 10 to the wearer and reduce leakage of excrement.

On the other hand, the folded portion 241 in fig. 10B is located on the skin side of the absorbent core 11A. In this case as well, the portion of the abdominal-side waistline portion 20 that overlaps the portion of the absorbent main body 10 where positional deviation is most likely to occur can also be brought into close contact with the wearer by the folded portion 241, and positional deviation of the absorbent main body 10 can be suppressed. In fig. 10B, the stretchable sheet 24 covers the upper end 10a of the absorbent body 10 and the upper end 11Aa of the absorbent core 11 on the skin side. Therefore, the wearer is less likely to feel the upper end (edge) 10a of the absorbent main body 10 and the upper end 11Aa of the absorbent core 11, and the wearer can be restrained from feeling a foreign matter.

In the abdominal-side waistline portion 20 in fig. 11A and 11B, the folded portion 241 of the stretchable sheet 24 extends in the up-down direction across the upper end 11Aa of the absorbent core 11A. In this case, the number of material layers in the vicinity of the upper end 11Aa of the absorbent core 11A can be gradually changed.

Specifically, the number of material layers may increase from the upper side to the lower side, that is, there are a region where the upper end portion of the absorbent main body 10 and the one-layer stretchable sheet 24 are laminated with each other, a region where the upper end portion of the absorbent main body 10 and the two-layer stretchable sheet 24 (folded portion 241) are laminated with each other, and a region where the absorbent core 11A is provided and the two-layer stretchable sheet 24 are laminated with each other of the absorbent main body 10. Therefore, the difference in height and the difference in rigidity between the region having the absorbent core 11A and the region not having the absorbent core 11A can be reduced, and the wearer can be inhibited from feeling foreign matter.

In particular, in fig. 11B, the folded portion 241 of the stretchable sheet 24 covers the skin side of the upper end 11Aa of the absorbent core 11. Therefore, the upper end (edge) 11Aa of the absorbent core 11A is less likely to be felt by the wearer even to a greater extent than in the case shown in fig. 10B, and it is possible to suppress the wearer from feeling a foreign matter.

The stretchable sheet 24 and the fixing portion 41

In the product state (fig. 5) of the abdominal-side waistline portion 20, the first end 22a side portion of the outer sheet 22 has been folded downward. The length L1 is the length in the vertical direction from the upper end 20a of the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 to one end of the downward folded portion of the non-stretchable sheet (here, the first end 22a of the outer sheet 22). The vertical length from the upper end 20a of the abdominal-side waistline portion 20 to the first end 24a of the stretchable sheet 24 is zero. It is sufficient that the length (zero) is shorter than the above-mentioned length L1.

In other words, it is sufficient that the first end 24a of the stretchable sheet 24 is located higher than the first end 22a of the folded portion of the outer sheet 22. According to this configuration, the position of the stretchable sheet 24 is not excessively low. Therefore, the fit of the upper end portion of the abdomen-side waist portion 20 can be maintained.

Further, the fixing portion 41 has a first region 411 and a second region 412 other than the first region 411 that fix one surface 24A (non-skin-side surface in fig. 4) of the stretchable sheet 24 to the non-stretchable sheets 21 and 22. The second region 412 of the fastening portion 41 is a region of the fastening portion 41 that is continuous with the first region 411, and is provided in the non-stretchable sheet (the outer sheet 22 in this case) so as to extend beyond the first end 24a of the stretchable sheet 24.

In the in-process state (fig. 4), the first region 411 of the fixing portion 41 is located between the stretchable sheet 24 and the inner sheet 21 and is not exposed. On the other hand, the second region 412 of the fixing portion 41 provided on the outer sheet 22 is exposed on the skin side. If the second region 412 of the fixing portion 41 is exposed on the skin side in the product state, the hardened adhesive 41 will come into contact with the wearer, and the comfort of the abdomen-side waist portion 20 will be reduced. Further, although not shown, even in the case where the second region 412 of the fixing portion 41 is exposed on the non-skin side, the texture of the abdominal-side waistline portion 20 is reduced when touched from the outside.

Therefore, at least a part of the second region 412 of the fixing portion 41 is preferably not exposed. More preferably, the entire second region 412 of the fixing portion 41 is not exposed. In other words, it is preferable that the second region 412 of the fixed portion 41 is located between the constituent materials of the diaper 1.

In the present embodiment, the second region 412 of the fixing portion 41 is covered by the downward folded portion 221 of the outer sheet 22 on the skin side. In other words, the second region 412 of the fixing portion 41 is located between the folded-down portion 221 of the outer sheet 22 and the stretchable sheet 24, and is not exposed. Therefore, the comfort and the texture of the abdomen-side waist portion 20 can be suppressed from being lowered.

Note that the configuration of the abdominal-side waistline portion 20 is not limited to the configuration shown in fig. 5. Other examples include a configuration in which the inner layer sheet 21 is also folded down together with the outer layer sheet 22, a configuration in which only the inner layer sheet 21 is folded down, and a configuration in which neither the inner layer sheet 21 nor the outer layer sheet 22 is folded down. Therefore, the material covering the skin side of the second region 412 of the fixing portion 41 is not limited to the outer sheet 22. Other examples include a folded-down portion of the inner layer sheet 21 and other sheets other than the outer layer sheets 21 and 22.

Also, in the product state (fig. 5), the first end 41a side portion of the fixing portion 41 has been folded downward. In other words, the manufacturing method of the diaper 1 includes a step of folding down the fixing portion 41 together with the outer sheet 22.

Therefore, the fixing portion 41 is stacked on the upper end portion of the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 in the thickness direction. More specifically, there are two layers of the adhesive 41, and the rigidity in the upper end portion of the abdomen-side waist portion 20 is high. Therefore, when putting on the diaper 1, the upper end portion of the abdomen-side waist portion 20 can be grasped more easily, so that the diaper 1 can be pulled up more easily. It is also possible to suppress the upper end portion of the abdomen-side waist portion 20 from curling and wrinkling during packaging or the like, thereby suppressing the appearance of the diaper 1 from deteriorating.

In addition, although not shown, the first end 24a of the stretchable sheet 24 may be located at a position lower than the upper end 20a of the abdominal-side waistline portion 20. In this case, it is sufficient that the first end 41a side portion of the fixing portion 41 is not folded down and the first end 41a of the fixing portion 41 is located higher than the first end 24a of the stretchable sheet 24. According to this structure, the curl of the first end 24a side portion of the stretchable sheet 24 is suppressed, the one-layer fixing portion 41 is present in the upper end portion of the abdomen-side waistline portion 20, and the upper end portion of the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 is flexible.

The first end 41a of the fixing portion 41 may be located lower than the upper end 20a of the abdomen-side waistline portion 20. In this case, the upper end portion of the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 has a region where the stretchable sheet 24 and the fastening portion 41 are not provided. Therefore, the upper end portion of the abdominal-side waistline portion 20 is soft.

If the upper end portion of the abdomen-side waist portion 20 is soft, the upper end (edge) 20a of the abdomen-side waist portion 20 can be prevented from irritating the skin of the wearer. Further, in the natural state of the diaper 1, the upper end portion of the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 may have a wrinkled shape. Thus, the user can be given an impression that the diaper 1 is soft and comfortable.

Although the embodiments of the present disclosure have been described above, the above embodiments of the present disclosure are only for the purpose of facilitating understanding of the present disclosure, and should not be construed as limiting the present disclosure in any way. Various changes or modifications may be made to the disclosure without departing from the spirit thereof, and the disclosure covers equivalents thereof.

For example, the stretchable sheet 24 is not limited to be provided in the upper end portion of the abdomen-side waistline portion 20. The stretchable sheet 24 may be provided at any position in the abdominal-side waistline portion 20 in the up-down direction. In addition, the following configuration is possible: the back-side waistline portion 30 (first waistline portion) may have an elastic sheet, and the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 (second waistline portion) may not have an elastic sheet, or both the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 and the back-side waistline portion 30 may have an elastic sheet 24.

In addition, although the diaper in which the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 and the back-side waistline portion 30 are separate members has been described as an example in the above embodiment, the following configuration may be adopted: a crotch portion is provided between the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 and the back-side waistline portion 30, and the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 and the back-side waistline portion 30 are a continuous single member.
