1. An absorbent article having:

a front-back direction;

a width direction orthogonal to the front-rear direction;

a central region including an excretory opening abutment opposite an excretory opening of a wearer;

a surface sheet;

an absorbent core disposed on the non-skin-facing surface side of the topsheet; and

an opening portion extending in a thickness direction across the surface sheet and the absorbent core, wherein,

in the absorbent core, a concave portion recessed in the thickness direction is provided on the non-skin-facing surface of the absorbent core,

the opening is disposed at least in the central region,

at least a part of the concave portion is located outside the opening in plan view and extends toward the outer edge of the absorbent core.

2. The absorbent article of claim 1,

the opening portion reaches the non-skin-facing surface of the absorbent core.

3. The absorbent article according to claim 1 or 2, wherein,

the pressure-bonding section in which the fibers constituting the top sheet and the absorbent core are pressure-bonded is not provided at least in a part of the peripheral section surrounding the opening.

4. The absorbent article according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein,

the recess has a width recess extending in the width direction,

the width concave portion is provided in plurality at intervals in the front-rear direction.

5. The absorbent article according to claim 4,

the central region has a 1 st central region located at the center of the central region in the width direction and a pair of 2 nd central regions located on both sides of the 1 st central region in the width direction,

the opening part is arranged in the 1 st central area,

the width concave parts are respectively arranged in the pair of No. 2 central areas,

the width concave portions are symmetrically arranged with respect to a width center line that passes through the center of the width direction of the absorbent core and extends in the front-rear direction.

6. The absorbent article according to any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein,

the recess has a front-rear recess extending in the front-rear direction.

the surface sheet is provided with surface recesses recessed toward the non-skin-facing surface side and surface protrusions arranged between the surface recesses,

Technical Field

The present invention relates to an absorbent article such as a sanitary napkin.

Background

Patent document 1 discloses an absorbent article having an absorbent core provided with a plurality of concave portions. The concave portions of the absorbent core of patent document 1 are provided with a plurality of concave portions extending in the front-rear direction and a plurality of concave portions extending in the width direction. Small absorbing portions are provided between the concave portions. The concave portion and the small absorbent portion are provided on the skin-facing surface side of the absorbent core.

Disclosure of Invention

Problems to be solved by the invention

In the absorbent article of patent document 1, the bodily fluid discharged from the wearer is guided to the concave portion and the small absorbent portion provided in the region facing the excretory opening. The body fluid is absorbed by the small absorbing portion and is guided to the outside in the width direction and the outside in the front-rear direction by the concave portion. The recessed portion reaches the outer edge in the width direction and the outer edge in the front-rear direction of the absorbent core on the skin-facing surface side of the absorbent core. Therefore, the body fluid discharged from the wearer may spread over the entire absorbent core on the skin-facing side of the absorbent core before being guided to the non-skin-facing side of the absorbent core, and leakage of the body fluid may occur.

Therefore, an absorbent article that easily guides bodily fluids to the entire absorbent core while suppressing leakage of bodily fluids is desired.

An absorbent article according to one aspect includes: a central region including an excretory opening abutment opposite an excretory opening of a wearer; a surface sheet; an absorbent core disposed on the non-skin-facing surface side of the topsheet; and an opening extending in the thickness direction across the topsheet and the absorbent core, wherein the absorbent core is provided with a recess recessed in the thickness direction on a non-skin-facing surface of the absorbent core, the opening is disposed at least in the central region, and at least a part of the recess is located outside the opening in a plan view and extends toward the outer edge of the absorbent core.

Detailed Description

(1) Brief description of the embodiments

At least the following matters will be made clear from the description of the present specification and the drawings.

An absorbent article according to one aspect has: a front-back direction; a width direction orthogonal to the front-rear direction; a central region including an excretory opening abutment opposite an excretory opening of a wearer; a surface sheet; an absorbent core disposed on the non-skin-facing surface side of the topsheet; and an opening extending in the thickness direction across the topsheet and the absorbent core, wherein the absorbent core is provided with a recess recessed in the thickness direction on a non-skin-facing surface of the absorbent core, the opening is disposed at least in the central region, and at least a part of the recess is located outside the opening in a plan view and extends toward the outer edge of the absorbent core.

According to a preferred aspect, the opening reaches the non-skin-facing surface of the absorbent core.

The body fluid is more easily guided to the non-skin-facing surface of the absorbent core by the opening, and the diffusion of the body fluid on the skin-facing surface side of the absorbent core can be further suppressed.

According to a preferred embodiment, a pressure-bonding section in which fibers constituting the top sheet and the absorbent core are pressure-bonded is not provided at least in a part of a peripheral section surrounding the opening section.

If the pressure-bonding section is formed entirely around the opening, the body fluid guided to the opening is drawn into the pressure-bonding section and easily spreads in the plane direction around the entire periphery of the opening. Since the crimping portion is not formed in the entire peripheral portion, the body fluid guided to the opening portion can be more easily diffused in the thickness direction than in the planar direction.

Therefore, the body fluid can be guided to the non-skin-facing surface side of the absorbent core on the non-skin-facing surface side of the absorbent core.

According to a preferred aspect, the recess has a plurality of width recesses extending in the width direction, and the plurality of width recesses are provided at intervals in the front-rear direction.

Since the plurality of width concave portions are arranged at intervals in the front-rear direction, the absorbent core can be easily arranged along the roundness of the body by the plurality of folding base points arranged at intervals in the front-rear direction. By arranging the absorbent core along the body, it is easier to obtain the effect of absorbing body fluid by the central region of the absorbent core and spreading the body fluid by the openings and the concave portions.

According to a preferred aspect, the central region has a 1 st central region located at the center of the central region in the width direction and a pair of 2 nd central regions located on both sides of the 1 st central region in the width direction, the opening portion is provided in the 1 st central region, the width concave portions are provided in the pair of 2 nd central regions, respectively, the width concave portions are arranged symmetrically with respect to a width center line passing through the center of the absorbent core in the width direction and extending in the front-rear direction.

The bodily fluid discharged to the 1 st central region can be guided to the non-skin-facing surface side, and can be guided from the 1 st central region to the 2 nd central region side on the non-skin-facing surface side of the absorbent core. In addition, since the width concave portions are symmetrical, the folding base points connecting the width concave portions to each other are formed, and the entire width direction of the absorbent core is more easily along the body. The width concave portion of one 2 nd central region and the width concave portion of the other 2 nd central region are deformed in the same direction, and their positions in the front-rear direction coincide, so that the deformed shape of the absorbent core by the concave portions is easily maintained in cooperation with each other.

According to a preferred aspect, the recess has front and rear recesses extending in the front-rear direction.

The body fluid can be guided in the front-rear direction by the front-rear concave portions, and the body fluid can be diffused in the front-rear direction. Generally, the length of the absorbent core in the front-back direction is longer than the length in the width direction. By providing the front and rear concave portions, the bodily fluid can be easily guided to the entire front and rear direction region of the absorbent core.

According to a preferred aspect, the front and rear recesses are provided in at least one of the front side region and the rear side region.

The body fluid guided to the non-skin-facing surface side through the opening in the central region can be guided to the front region or the rear region by the front and rear concave portions. It is easy to guide the bodily fluid to the entire region in the front-rear direction of the absorbent core.

According to a preferred aspect, the plurality of concave portions are provided, and the compressed portion is provided by compressing the top sheet and the absorbent core in the thickness direction, and the compressed portion is disposed so as to straddle the plurality of concave portions in the plan view.

The body fluid can be introduced by the compression portion and guided to the plurality of concave portions by the compression portion. The recessed portions allow bodily fluids to spread in the planar direction on the non-skin-facing surface side of the absorbent core, and thereby allow bodily fluids to be guided to the entire absorbent core.

According to a preferred aspect, the front sheet is provided with surface recesses recessed toward the non-skin-facing surface side and surface protrusions disposed between the surface recesses, and the surface recesses and the surface protrusions extend in the front-back direction and are alternately disposed in the width direction.

The surface recess can diffuse the body fluid in the front-rear direction. Generally, the length of the absorbent core in the front-back direction is longer than the length in the width direction. By providing the surface recess, the bodily fluid can be easily guided to the entire relatively long front-rear direction region of the absorbent core.

(2) Structure of absorbent article

Hereinafter, an absorbent article according to an embodiment will be described with reference to the drawings. The absorbent article may be an absorbent article such as a sanitary napkin, panty liner, breast pad, adult incontinence pad, fecal pad or sweat pad. In particular, the absorbent article may be used by being attached to the inside of a wearing article such as underwear of a user.

In the following description of the drawings, the same or similar parts are denoted by the same or similar reference numerals. However, the drawings are schematic, and it should be noted that the scale of each dimension and the like may be different from those in reality. Therefore, specific dimensions and the like should be determined with reference to the following description. In addition, in some cases, the drawings include portions having different dimensional relationships and ratios from each other.

Fig. 1 is a plan view of an absorbent article 10 according to embodiment 1, as viewed from the skin-facing surface side. Here, the "skin-facing surface side" corresponds to a side facing the skin of the wearer during use. The "non-skin-facing side" corresponds to the side facing the opposite side of the wearer's skin during use. Fig. 2 is a sectional view taken along the line a-a shown in fig. 1, and fig. 3 is a sectional view taken along the section B-B shown in fig. 1.

The absorbent article 10 has a front-rear direction L and a width direction W. The front-back direction L is a direction extending from the front side (ventral side) to the back side (dorsal side) of the wearer, or a direction extending from the back side to the front side of the wearer. The width direction W is a direction orthogonal to the front-rear direction L.

The absorbent article 10 includes a front side region R1, a rear side region R2, and a central region R3. The central region R3 includes an excretory opening abutment R33 opposite an excretory opening (e.g., vaginal opening) of the wearer. When the absorbent article 10 is worn in underwear, the central region R3 is located in the crotch portion of the underwear. That is, the excretory opening contact portion R33 is a region disposed in the crotch of the wearer, i.e., between the legs of the wearer. The central region R3 preferably has a 1 st central region R31 located at the center of the central region R3 in the width direction W and a pair of 2 nd central regions R32 located on both sides of the 1 st central region R31 in the width direction W.

The front region R1 is located more forward than the center region R3. The front end edge of the front side region R1 defines the front end edge of the absorbent article 10. The rear region R2 is located more rearward than the central region R3. The rear end edge of the rear region R2 defines the rear end edge of the absorbent article 10. The length in the front-rear direction L of the rear region R2 is preferably longer than the length in the front-rear direction L of the central region R3.

The central region R3 is preferably provided with a wing portion 3 described later. Further, the hip flap 4 bulging outward in the width direction W is preferably provided in the rear region R2. The leading edge of the wing portion 3 is defined by the root of the wing portion 3 and corresponds to the portion located on the leading side of the two portions recessed most inward in the width direction W. The front end edge of the flap portion 3 may also define the boundary of the central region R3 and the front region R1. The rear end edge of the wing portion 3 is defined by the root of the wing portion 3 and corresponds to the portion located on the rear side of the two portions recessed most inward in the width direction W. The rear end edge of the flap portion 3 may also define the boundary of the central region R3 and the rear region R2.

The absorbent article 10 includes a front sheet 11 facing the skin of the wearer, a back sheet 12 facing the opposite side of the skin of the wearer, and an absorbent core 20 disposed between the front sheet 11 and the back sheet 12. The topsheet 11 is provided on the skin-facing surface side T1 with respect to the absorbent core 20. The back sheet 12 is provided on the non-skin-facing surface side T2 with respect to the absorbent core 20. The absorbent core 20 is provided between the topsheet 11 and the backsheet 12. It is preferable to provide a compressed portion 41 that compresses at least the surface sheet 11 and the absorbent core 20 in the thickness direction.

The top sheet 11 is a liquid-permeable sheet that allows liquid such as body fluid to pass through. The topsheet 11 preferably covers the central portion of the absorbent core 20 in the width direction W. The top sheet 11 preferably extends from the front region R1 to the rear region R2 in the front-rear direction L. The top sheet 11 is made of any sheet-like material having a liquid-permeable structure, such as a nonwoven fabric, a woven fabric, a perforated plastic sheet, or a mesh sheet. As a material of the woven fabric or the nonwoven fabric, any of natural fibers and chemical fibers can be used. The topsheet 11 may be composed of a plurality of layers, or may be composed of a sheet covering the absorbent core 20 and a side sheet covering the outer edge of the absorbent core 20.

The back sheet 12 is a liquid-impermeable sheet. The back sheet 12 may be a polyethylene sheet, a laminated nonwoven fabric mainly composed of polypropylene or the like, an air-permeable resin film, a sheet obtained by joining an air-permeable resin film to a nonwoven fabric such as a spun-bonded nonwoven fabric or a spunlace nonwoven fabric, or the like.

The absorbent core 20 is disposed at least in the central region R3 and the rear region R2. In addition, the absorbent core 20 may also extend from the central region R3 to the front side region R1. The absorbent core 20 contains an absorbent material that absorbs liquid. The absorbent core 20 may also be covered by a core cladding. The absorbent material constituting the absorbent core 20 can be formed of, for example, hydrophilic fibers, pulp, and Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP). The core wrap can be made of, for example, nonwoven fabric or tissue paper.

As described above, the absorbent article 10 has the wing portions 3 and the hip flaps 4. The wing portions 3 and the hip flaps 4 project outward in the width direction W from the outer edge of the absorbent core 20 in the central region R3. The wing portions 3 and the hip flaps 4 are preferably configured by laminating a front sheet 11 and a back sheet 12. The wing portions 3 are configured to be foldable toward the back sheet 12. The wing sections 3 are folded back toward the non-skin-facing surface side of the crotch section of the undergarment during use.

The hip flap 4 is provided in the rear region R2 at a position rearward of the wing portion 3. The hip flaps 4 are not folded back during use but are disposed between the underwear and the hips of the wearer. In the present embodiment, no absorbent material is provided on the hip flaps 4. It is also possible to provide the hip flaps 4 with absorbent material instead.

Next, a structure of the absorbent article 10 configured as above for spreading body fluid will be described. The absorbent article 10 is configured to easily guide bodily fluids to the entire absorbent core 20 while suppressing leakage of bodily fluids. The absorbent article 10 has an opening 45 extending in the thickness direction across the topsheet 11 and the absorbent core 20. The bodily fluid discharged to the skin-facing surface of the topsheet 11 can be introduced into the non-skin-facing surface side T2 through the opening 45, and can be guided to the absorbent core 20. The opening 45 may extend over the topsheet 11 and the absorbent core 20, or may be provided in a part of the topsheet 11 and a part of the absorbent core 20 in the thickness direction T. The opening 45 preferably penetrates from the skin-facing surface of the topsheet 11 to the non-skin-facing surface of the absorbent core 20.

The opening 45 is preferably provided at least in the central region R3. The central region R3 includes the excretory opening abutment R33 and facilitates the discharge of bodily fluid from the wearer. By forming the opening 45 in the central region R3, the body fluid can be guided in the thickness direction T, that is, from the skin-facing surface side T1 to the non-skin-facing surface side T2 through the opening 45. The opening 45 is preferably provided in the 1 st central region R31. The 1 st central region R31 includes the excretory opening contact portion R33 and is a region in which body fluid can be easily discharged from the excretory opening of the wearer. The opening 45 may be provided in the front region R1 and the rear region R2.

The opening 45 may be in a dot shape, a linear shape, or a curved shape in a plan view, and a plurality of openings are preferably formed. The opening 45 may be formed by a process of cutting and punching the topsheet to the absorbent core without applying heat, may be formed by a linear embossing process, or may be formed by a dot embossing process. Preferably, the process is performed without forming a pressure-bonded part in which fibers constituting the top sheet 11 and the absorbent core 20 are pressure-bonded. That is, it is preferable that the pressure-bonding section is not provided at least in a part of the peripheral portion R5 (see fig. 3) surrounding the opening 45. If the pressure-bonding section is formed in the entire periphery R5 of the opening 45, the body fluid guided to the opening 45 is drawn into the pressure-bonding section and easily spreads in the planar direction. Since no crimping portion is formed in the peripheral portion R5, the body fluid guided to the opening 45 can be more easily diffused in the thickness direction than in the planar direction. Therefore, the bodily fluid can be guided to the non-skin-facing surface side of the absorbent core 20. The peripheral portion R5 is a portion surrounding the opening 45 in a plan view, and is a portion having a distance from the opening 45 equal to the thickness of the topsheet or the absorbent core. At least a part of the peripheral portion is a part of the entire periphery of the opening in a plan view. Preferably, the pressure-bonding section is not provided in 50% or more of the peripheral portion.

In the absorbent core 20, a concave portion 30 that is concave in the thickness direction is provided on the non-skin-facing surface of the absorbent core 20. The concave portion 30 is recessed from the non-skin-facing surface side T2 of the absorbent core 20 toward the skin-facing surface side T1. The bottom (most depressed portion) of the concave portion 30 does not reach the skin-facing surface of the absorbent core 20. Therefore, as shown in fig. 2 and 3, an absorbent is disposed on the skin-facing surface side T1 of the concave portion 30. The depth of the concave portions 30 can be set to 10% to 80% of the thickness of the absorbent core. The concave portion 30 may be formed of a low basis weight portion having a lower basis weight than the surrounding region of the absorbent material, or may be formed of a portion compressed in the thickness direction.

The concave portion 30 is located outside the opening 45 in plan view and extends toward the outer edge 20E of the absorbent core 20. The concave portion 30 can diffuse the body fluid guided to the non-skin-facing surface side by the opening 45 toward the outer edge of the absorbent article. The recess 30 may be located outside one opening 45, or may not be located outside all the openings 45. For example, the opening 45 may be disposed outside the recess 30. The outer edge is a peripheral edge of the member, and includes a front edge and a rear edge in the front-rear direction and an outer edge in the width direction. The outside of the opening 45 is a position closer to the outer edge than the opening 45. That is, the concave portion 30 may be provided between the opening 45 and the outer edge 20E of the absorbent core 20. The recess 30 is preferably provided in the front region R1, the center region R3, and the rear region R2. In the central region R3, the concave portion 30 is preferably provided in the 2 nd central region R32.

The recess preferably includes a width recess 31 extending in the width direction W and a front-rear recess 32 extending in the front-rear direction L. The width concave portion 31 includes not only a structure extending parallel to the width direction W but also a structure extending along a line forming an angle of 45 degrees or less with respect to the width direction W. The front-rear concave portion 32 includes not only a structure extending parallel to the front-rear direction L but also a structure extending along a line forming an angle of less than 45 degrees with respect to the front-rear direction L.

The width concave portion 31 is preferably provided outside the opening 45 in the width direction W. The body fluid guided in the thickness direction T by the opening 45 can be guided outward in the width direction W by the width concave portion 31, and the body fluid can be easily spread over the entire region in the width direction W of the absorbent core 20. The width concave portion 31 is preferably provided in the range of the front-rear direction L of the opening 45, that is, a region extending in the width direction from the entire region of the opening in the front-rear direction. The width concave portion 31 is preferably provided in the 2 nd central region R32. By providing the opening 45 in the 1 st central region R31 and the width concave portion 31 in the 2 nd central region R32, the bodily fluid can be guided to the non-skin facing surface side T2 in the 1 st central region R31 and the bodily fluid can be guided from the 1 st central region R31 to the 2 nd central region side in the non-skin facing surface side T2 of the absorbent core 20. The width concave portion 31 may be provided outside the opening 45 in the front-rear direction L. The width recessed portions 31 of the present embodiment are disposed in the front region R1, the center region R3, and the rear region R2, respectively. Therefore, the effect of spreading the body fluid over the entire region of the absorbent core 20 in the front-rear direction can be exhibited.

The front-rear concave portion 32 is preferably provided outside the opening 45 in the front-rear direction L. The body fluid can be guided outward in the front-rear direction L by the opening 45. In general, the length of the absorbent core 20 in the front-back direction L is longer than the length in the width direction W. By providing the front and rear concave portions 32, the bodily fluid can be easily guided to the entire region of the absorbent core 20 in the front-rear direction L. The front-rear concave portion 32 is preferably provided in the range of the width direction W of the opening 45, that is, a region extending in the front-rear direction from the entire region of the width direction of the opening. The front and rear recessed portions 32 may be provided outside the opening 45 in the width direction W. The front and rear concave portions 32 are preferably disposed across the center in the width direction W of the absorbent article 10. The front and rear recessed portions 32 are preferably provided in at least one of the front region R1 and the rear region R2. The body fluid guided to the non-skin-facing surface side from the opening 45 of the central region R3 is guided to the front region R1 or the rear region R2 by the front and rear concave portions 32, so that the body fluid is easily guided to the entire region of the absorbent core 20 in the front-rear direction L.

It is preferable to provide both the width concave portion 31 and the front and rear concave portions 32. The bodily fluid can be diffused in both the width direction W and the front-back direction L, and the bodily fluid can be more easily guided to the entire absorbent core 20. Further, it is preferable that the width concave portion 31 and the front and rear concave portions 32 are partially connected. The wide recessed portion 31 and the front-rear recessed portion 32 cooperate with each other, so that the body fluid can be efficiently diffused in the front-rear direction L and the width direction W.

Next, the spreading of the body fluid will be described with reference to fig. 4. Fig. 4 is a view schematically showing the spread of body fluid in the absorbent core 20. The bodily fluid discharged from the excretory opening of the wearer is guided to the central region R3 including the excretory opening contact portion R33. The body fluid guided to the central region R3 is guided to the non-skin-facing surface side T2 by the opening 45 (arrow a in fig. 4). At this time, since the opening 45 extends over the topsheet 11 and the absorbent core 20, the body fluid is easily guided to the inside of the absorbent core 20 (the position inside the skin-facing surface). By guiding the body fluid to the non-skin-facing surface side, the diffusion of the body fluid to the skin-facing surface side of the absorbent core 20 can be suppressed, and leakage of the body fluid can be suppressed.

The body fluid guided to the absorbent core 20 spreads within the absorbent core 20. More specifically, the body fluid is diffused outward in the width direction W by the width concave portion 31 provided outside in the width direction W of the opening 45 (arrow B). Further, the body fluid is diffused outward in the front-rear direction L by the front-rear concave portion 32 provided outside the opening 45 in the front-rear direction L (arrow C). At this time, since the width concave portions 31 are continuous with the front and rear concave portions 32, the body fluid in the process of being guided to the rear side by the front and rear concave portions 32 is guided toward the outer edge 20E of the absorbent core 20 by the width concave portions 31 (arrow D). The recessed portions 30 are formed on the non-skin-facing surface of the absorbent core 20, and can diffuse body fluid in the planar direction on the non-skin-facing surface side of the absorbent core 20, thereby guiding the body fluid to the entire absorbent core 20. Therefore, the body fluid is easily guided to the whole of the absorbent core 20 while suppressing the leakage of the body fluid.

In order to facilitate movement of the body fluid guided by opening 45 to recess 30, opening 45 and recess 30 are preferably provided at the same level in the thickness direction. That is, the non-skin-facing surface of the opening 45 is preferably located closer to the non-skin-facing surface side T2 than the bottom surface (skin-facing surface) of the recess 30. With this structure, the body fluid can be easily moved from opening 45 to recess 30. Preferably, the opening 45 preferably reaches the non-skin-facing surface of the absorbent core 20. The body fluid is easily guided to the non-skin-facing surface of the absorbent core 20 by the opening 45, and the diffusion of the body fluid on the skin-facing surface side of the absorbent core 20 can be further suppressed.

The plurality of width recessed portions 31 are preferably provided at intervals in the front-rear direction L. The shape of the body along the front-back direction L from the ventral side toward the dorsal side is a rounded curve. Preferably, the absorbent article is disposed along the roundness of the body in a state of being worn by a wearer. The width concave portion 31 extends in the width direction, and is liable to become a folding base point of the absorbent core 20 extending in the width direction. The absorbent core 20 can be easily arranged along the roundness of the body by using a plurality of folding base points arranged at intervals in the front-rear direction. By disposing the absorbent core 20 along the body, it is easier to obtain the effect of absorbing body fluid in the central region R3 and spreading the body fluid by the openings 45 and the indentations 30. Further, since the concave portions are formed on the non-skin-facing surface of the absorbent core 20, when the absorbent core 20 is deformed so as to bend along the body during wearing, the width (length in the front-rear direction) of the non-skin-facing surface side of the concave portions 30 becomes longer than the length before deformation. The sectional area of the diffusion path of the bodily fluid on the non-skin-facing surface side of the absorbent core 20 is increased, and the bodily fluid is more easily diffused on the non-skin-facing surface side of the absorbent core 20.

The width concave portions 31 are preferably arranged symmetrically with respect to a width center line CL that passes through the center in the width direction of the absorbent core 20 and extends in the front-rear direction L. Since the width concave portions 31 are symmetrical, folding base points that connect the width concave portions 31 to each other are formed, thereby making it easier for the entire width direction of the absorbent core 20 to follow the body. Further, the width concave portion 31 of the first 2 nd central region and the width concave portion 31 of the second 2 nd central region are deformed in the same direction (deformed so as to be rounded inward on the skin-facing surface side) and the positions in the front-rear direction L thereof are matched, so that the deformed shape of the absorbent core 20 by the width concave portions 31 can be easily maintained in cooperation with each other.

Preferably, the recess 30 does not reach the outer edge 20E of the absorbent core 20. The body fluid guided by the concave portions 30 can be absorbed by the absorbent material provided at the outer edge of the absorbent core 20, so that side leakage can be prevented. In other ways, the recesses 30 may also reach the outer edge of the absorbent core 20.

In a plan view, the compression portion 41 is preferably disposed so as to span the plurality of recesses 30. At the compressed portion 41, the surface sheet 11 and the absorbent core 20 are compressed, and have a higher density than their surroundings, so that body fluid is easily introduced. In addition, the absorbent core 20 is not disposed in the concave portion 30, and the density is lower than that of the compressed portion 41. Therefore, the body fluid introduced by the compression portion 41 is easily guided to the concave portion 30 after being diffused along the compression portion 41. The body fluid can be introduced by the compression portion 41, and the body fluid can be guided to the plurality of concave portions 30 by the compression portion 41. The recessed portions 30 can diffuse bodily fluids in the planar direction on the non-skin-facing surface side of the absorbent core 20, and can guide bodily fluids to the entire absorbent core 20. In addition, it is preferable that the compression portion 41 and the recess 30 are locally connected. This makes it easier for the body fluid to diffuse from the compressed portions 41 to the recessed portions 30, and can improve the effect of guiding the body fluid to the entire absorbent core 20.

Further, the front sheet 11 may diffuse the body fluid in the front-rear direction. Fig. 5 is a schematic enlarged view of the surface sheet. The front sheet 11 is preferably provided with front concave portions 11A recessed toward the non-skin-facing surface side and front convex portions 11B disposed between the front concave portions 11A. The surface recesses 11A and the surface protrusions 11B preferably extend in the front-rear direction L and are alternately arranged in the width direction W. The body fluid can be diffused in the front-rear direction L along the front surface concave portion 11A. Generally, the length of the absorbent core 20 in the front-back direction is longer than the length in the width direction. By providing the surface indentations 11A, bodily fluids can be easily guided over the relatively long front-back direction of the absorbent core 20.

The present invention can be implemented as modifications and variations without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention defined by the claims. Therefore, the description of the present specification is for illustrative purposes and does not have any limiting meaning to the present invention.

Industrial applicability

An absorbent article can be provided that can easily guide bodily fluids to the entire absorbent core while suppressing leakage of bodily fluids.
