Technical Field

The invention relates to a capsule intended to be mounted on the neck of a cosmetic packaging container, the service capsule comprising:

an outer skirt intended to be engaged around the neck,

a transverse wall closing the outer skirt, the transverse wall defining at least one cosmetic product outlet orifice,

the service capsule comprises, for the or each outlet hole, a product dispensing duct projecting from the transverse wall along a duct axis into the outer skirt, the duct defining a cosmetic dispensing channel of the container;

the service capsule comprises a closing cover mounted movable with respect to the transverse wall between a position clear of the transverse wall, in which it allows the passage of the cosmetic product, and a position applied to the transverse wall, in which it prevents the passage of the cosmetic product.

Such a service capsule is particularly intended to be used with a cosmetic product containing inclusions in order to prevent the inclusions contained in the cosmetic product from leaving the container.

Cosmetic products are in particular care, coloring and/or make-up products for body surfaces. In particular, the cosmetic is a care product for the face and/or the hair or a sunscreen product.

Background

Cosmetics are more generally products defined in EC regulation No. 1223/2009 on cosmetics issued by european parliament and council on 30/11 in 2009.

Service capsules, which are typically used to close cosmetic packaging containers, are not suitable for dispensing inclusion-containing cosmetics. Therefore, when the inclusions are separated with the product, the user is required to recover the inclusions, which is unpleasant for the contact.

US 6,374,726, US 2014/0131230 and US 7,461,587 describe beverage packaging containers provided with a stopper with a filter.

US 5,417,860 describes an insert provided with a tubular filter, which insert is intended to be inserted into a wine bottle to filter impurities from the wine.

However, the insert provided with the filter is complicated to manufacture. The insert comprises a plurality of parts made of different materials, which increases the number of parts to be assembled and referenced.

Disclosure of Invention

One purpose of the present invention is to obtain a serving capsule useful for dispensing a cosmetic product containing inclusions, which is easy to manufacture and use.

To this end, the invention relates to a service capsule of the type described above, in which a filter is arranged upstream of and/or in the product dispensing conduit, the filter being configured such that the cosmetic present in the container must pass through it when the product is taken out of the container through the service capsule, the filter being integral with the product dispensing conduit.

Due to the presence of the filter, the service capsule enables efficient dispensing of the cosmetic product containing inclusions without discomfort to the user. The service capsule according to the invention is still very easy to manufacture, since the number of components of the service capsule is small.

According to an alternative, in the position applied on the transverse wall, a cover closes the or each outlet hole; and the cap comprises a sealing finger which is inserted in a watertight manner into the dispensing duct in the application position.

The cover in its position of application to the transverse wall is able to completely prevent the cosmetic product from leaving the container, since each outlet hole is covered by the cover. The sealing fingers further improve the sealing of the service capsule.

According to one alternative, the distribution duct has an upper edge for connection to the transverse wall and has a lower edge from which the filter extends.

The configuration of the filter connected to the lower edge of the dispensing conduit prevents clogging of the dispensing conduit upstream of the filter and better directs the cosmetic product towards the outside of the container after filtration.

According to an alternative, the filter has a conical shape with an apex oriented away from the transverse wall and an axis corresponding to the axis of the duct.

The conical shape of the filter increases the cosmetic passing surface without increasing the size of the pores. Furthermore, this shape limits the risk of inclusions agglomerating on the filter.

According to one alternative, the filter has a flat shape extending substantially perpendicular to the pipe axis.

The flat shape of the filter makes manufacture easier while providing good filtration quality.

According to an alternative, the method comprises at least one member projecting from an inner surface of the outer skirt for attaching the outer skirt to the neck; and

the securing member is a thread capable of mating with a complementary thread of a neck on the container.

The fixing means, preferably in the form of a net (net), provide a better fixing of the serving capsule on the neck of the container.

According to an alternative, the method comprises an inner sealing skirt projecting from the transverse wall into the outer skirt, the inner skirt and the outer skirt delimiting an annular space for housing the neck of the container in a watertight manner.

The annular space is able to accommodate the neck of the container, the inner skirt improving the seal of the serving capsule around the neck and limiting the risk of product leakage.

According to an alternative, the inner skirt projects to a free edge, the filter being arranged to at least partially pass over the free edge along the duct axis while moving away from the transverse wall.

This configuration provides a simple exit of the cosmetic product from the container, while guaranteeing a good filtering quality.

The invention also relates to a device for packaging and dispensing a cosmetic product, comprising: a container capable of containing a cosmetic product, the container having a neck; and a service capsule as defined above mounted on the neck.

In a particular embodiment of the invention, the packaging unit also has the following features:

-the container contains a cosmetic product with inclusions; and

the size of the inclusions is 2mm3To 800mm3In the meantime.

Detailed Description

In fig. 2 a first packaging and dispensing device 10 according to the present invention is shown. The device 10 is intended to package and dispense a cosmetic product 12.

The cosmetic product 12 is, for example, a care, coloring and/or makeup product.

The cosmetic product 12 includes a liquid 14 and solid inclusions 16 dispersed in the liquid 14.

The inclusions 16 include, for example, plant elements, such as flowers and/or active solid components. The volume of the inclusions 16 is in particular 1mm3To 1000mm3And advantageously between 2mm3To 800mm3In the meantime.

The amount of inclusions 16 in the cosmetic product 12 is between 0.05g/l and 20g/l and advantageously between 0.1g/l and 10 g/l.

The apparatus 10 comprises a container 18 and a serving capsule 20 according to the invention mounted on the container 18.

The container 18 is made of plastic, for example. In one alternative, the container 18 is made of glass or metal.

The container 18 includes a neck 22 extending about a central axis X-X' and a reservoir 24 connected to the neck 22.

The neck 22 defines an outer surface 26 that includes complementary threads 28. The threads 28 project from the outer surface 26 away from the central axis X-X'.

Reservoir 24 defines an interior volume intended to contain cosmetic product 12.

A service capsule 20 is mounted on the neck 22 of the container 18. The service capsule comprises an outer skirt 32 and a transverse wall 34, the transverse wall 34 closing the outer skirt 32 towards the outside. The service capsule 20 further comprises a product dispensing duct 36 projecting from the transverse wall 34 towards the interior of the container 18, and a filter 38 arranged upstream of the dispensing duct 36.

The service capsule further comprises a closure cap 40 movable with respect to the outer skirt 32 and advantageously an inner sealing skirt 42 projecting from the transverse wall 34 to the interior of the outer skirt 32.

The outer skirt 32 is engaged around the neck 22. The outer skirt 32 extends around the axis X-X' over the entire periphery of the neck 22.

The outer skirt 32 includes an inner surface 44 oriented toward the central axis X-X'. The inner surface 44 comprises a fixation member 46 protruding towards the central axis X-X'. The securing member 46 is here a thread that cooperates with the complementary thread 28 to secure the service capsule 20 to the neck 22.

The transverse wall 34 closes the outer skirt 32 at its upper edge. The transverse wall extends substantially perpendicular to the central axis X-X'.

The transverse wall 34 defines at least one cosmetic product passing outlet aperture 48. Advantageously, the central axis X-X' passes through the outlet hole 48 through the centre of the outlet hole 48.

The diameter of the outlet hole 48 is between 5mm and 10mm, advantageously between 7mm and 9mm, and in particular equal to 8.25 mm.

The distribution duct 36 projects from the transverse wall 34 along the central axis X-X' into the outer skirt 32.

The dispensing conduit 36 defines a dispensing passage 51 for the cosmetic product 12. The passage 51 passes outwardly through the outlet aperture 48 and inwardly toward the reservoir 24.

The distribution duct 36 extends between an upper connecting edge 52 connected to the transverse wall 34 and a lower edge 53 connected to the filter 38.

Cosmetic product 12 is able to flow from container 18 through dispensing passage 51 to outlet aperture 48.

The filter 38 extends from the lower edge 53 of the distribution pipe 36 towards the storage 24. The filter 38 is configured such that the cosmetic product 12 present in the container 18 must pass through the filter 38 when the product 12 is removed from the container 18.

The filter 38 is completely contained within the interior volume defined by the outer skirt 32. This limits the risk of breakage during transport and the risk of rubbing on the tool during factory packaging.

According to the invention, the transverse wall 34, the distribution duct 36 and the filter 38 are integral. In this example, the inner skirt 42, outer skirt 32 and cover 40 are also integral with the transverse wall 34.

In the example shown in fig. 1-3, the filter 38 has a pyramidal shape with an apex 56 oriented away from the transverse wall 34.

The filter 38 comprises at least two membranes 58 inclined towards the axis X-X 'and at least one circumferential ring 60 around the axis X-X', the membranes and the ring delimiting the passage holes 61. These membranes 58 connect the apex 56 to the lower edge 53 of the distribution duct 36. At the apex 56, at least one hole 61 is advantageously provided.

In this example, the filter 38 includes 2 to 10 membranes 58, for example 6 membranes 58, distributed at an angle. A circumferential ring 60 is disposed between the apex 56 and the lower edge 53 to connect the membrane 58. The circumferential ring extends around the central axis X-X' over the entire periphery.

The area of each passage hole 61 is smaller than the size of the inclusion 16. Due to the conical shape of the filter 38, the cumulative channel surface of the holes 61 is larger than the cross section of the dispensing channel 51.

In one alternative, the thickness of membrane 58 near apex 56 is greater than the thickness of membrane 58 near lower edge 53.

The lid 40 is hinged to the transverse wall 34 and/or to the outer skirt 32. The cover is mounted movably with respect to the transverse wall 34 between a position (visible in the figures) away from the transverse wall 34 and a position applied on the transverse wall 34.

In the position applied on the transverse wall 34, the lid 40 closes each outlet hole 48 and the cosmetic product 12 is prevented from leaving the container 18.

The lid 40 comprises a sealing finger 62, which sealing finger 62 is intended to be inserted into the dispensing duct 36 in a watertight manner when the lid 40 is in its position of application on the transverse wall 34. The length of the sealing finger is less than the length of the dispensing conduit 36. The sealing finger 62 remains disposed away from the filter 38 when the lid 40 is in its application position. This prevents the seal fingers 62 from damaging the filter 38.

In the clear position, the cover 40 has been pivoted away from the transverse wall 34. The exit aperture 48 is unobstructed. Cosmetics 12 can exit container 18.

The inner skirt 42 projects from the transverse wall 34 into the outer skirt 32 until reaching the free edge 64. The free edge 64 is disposed below the lower edge 53.

The inner skirt 42 and the outer skirt 32 delimit an annular housing space 66 intended for housing the neck 22 of the container 18 in a watertight manner.

During operation, when a user wishes to use the cosmetic product 12 contained in the container 18, the user first moves the cap 40 from its position of application on the transverse wall 34 to its off position. Sealing finger 62 exits dispensing conduit 36 and releases dispensing passage 51 for cosmetic product 12. The exit aperture 48 is then unobstructed.

Next, the user pivots the container 18. Cosmetic product 12 moves toward dispensing conduit 36 under the force of gravity and the optional pressure applied to container 18. A filter 38 disposed on the lower edge 53 of the conduit 36 prevents inclusions 16 from entering the conduit 36 while allowing the liquid 14 to enter the conduit 36. Thus, inclusions 38 are retained in the container 18 by the filter 38.

Liquid 14 without inclusions 16 flows in conduit 36 toward the exterior of vessel 18 to outlet orifice 48. Then, the user uses the cosmetic 12 without the inclusions 16.

In the second device according to the invention shown in fig. 4 and 5, the filter 38 has a flat shape extending substantially perpendicular to the central axis X-X'. The filter 38 of the second device differs from the filter of the first device in that the membrane 58 is radial and connects the lower edge 53 to the circumferential ring 60, terminating in the circumferential ring 60.

The second device according to the invention is also similar to the first device.

Thanks to the above-described invention, the design of the service capsule 20 is simplified. In fact, the transverse wall 34, the dispensing duct 36 and the filter 38, and advantageously the lid 40 and the outer skirt 32, are integral, so that the service capsule 20 can be manufactured using a simple and conventional moulding process, while ensuring adequate operation of the device 10 even in the presence of makeup containing inclusions.
