1. An oil blending system for a marine diesel two-stroke engine and/or generator comprising:

a dispenser having at least one inlet for receiving a lubricating oil and at least one other component and at least one outlet for outputting a mixed lubricating oil composition to the engine or generator;

a blender controller configured to:

receiving parameter data regarding a current state of lubrication oil used in the engine or generator and receiving parameter data regarding a current engine and/or generator state;

automatically determining whether the currently used lubricating oil is within a predetermined parameter range based on the current engine and/or generator state; and

determining a new lubricating oil composition for the engine or generator if the current lubricating oil is outside a predetermined parameter threshold.

2. The oil blending system of claim 1, wherein the new lubricating oil composition is determined based on the current engine and/or generator conditions and/or currently used oil condition data.

The oil blending system of any preceding claim, wherein the blender controller is connected to at least a lube valve or pump controller and at least one other ingredient valve or pump controller, wherein the blender controller is configured to send control signals to the valve controller and/or pump controller for controlling the amounts of lube oil and at least one other ingredient.

4. The oil blending system of any preceding claim, wherein the received parametric data for the current state of the used lubricant is data received from at least one sensor monitoring the current state of the current lubricant state.

5. The oil blending system of claim 4, wherein the at least one sensor is one or more of: an alkalinity sensor, a viscosity sensor, a temperature sensor, a sulfate sensor, or a contaminant sensor.

6. The oil blending system of any preceding claim, wherein the received parametric data regarding the current engine state is received from at least one sensor monitoring the engine, an engine parameter stored in a memory, or another controller associated with the marine diesel two-stroke engine.

7. The oil blending system of claim 6, wherein the at least one sensor is an engine-mounted sensor for monitoring at least one of: acidity, temperature, elemental pollutants, exhaust gas, fuel type, fuel line valve status, current fuel parameters, current engine load.

8. The oil blending system of claim 7 wherein the at least one sensor mounted on the engine comprises a wireless transmitter receiver for communicating with the blender controller.

9. The oil blending system of any preceding claim, wherein the blender controller receives other parameter data relating to one or more of: air temperature, water temperature sensor, humidity sensor, weather information, ship state.

10. The oil blending system of any preceding claim, wherein the mixed oil composition is a cylinder oil, a system oil, or a generator oil.

11. The oil blending system of any preceding claim, wherein the at least one other ingredient is a viscosity agent, detergent, dispersant, friction modifier, antiwear agent, alkalinity agent, antifoam agent, flocculant, pour point depressant, antioxidant, polymeric thickener, corrosion inhibitor, extreme pressure additive, or additive concentrate package.

12. The oil blending system of any preceding claim, wherein the at least one other ingredient comprises used system oil, fresh system oil, used cylinder oil, fresh cylinder oil, used generator oil, or fresh generator oil to be mixed with the lubricating oil.

13. The oil blending system of any of the preceding claims, wherein the blender comprises multiple outlets for different mixed oil compositions.

14. The oil blending system of any preceding claim, wherein the blender comprises a plurality of inlets for receiving different ingredients or base oils.

15. A method for blending oil for a marine two-stroke engine and/or generator, comprising:

receiving a lube oil and at least one other component in an inlet of a blender;

receiving in a blender controller parameter data regarding a current state of lubricant used in the engine or generator;

receiving parameter data regarding a current engine state or generator;

automatically determining whether the currently used lubricating oil is within a predetermined parameter range based on the current engine and/or generator state;

determining a new lubricating oil composition for the engine or generator if the currently used lubricating oil is outside a predetermined parameter threshold.

16. The method of claim 15, wherein the method comprises:

blending the received lubricating oil with at least one other component; and

outputting the new mixed lubricating oil composition from the at least one outlet of the blender to the engine or generator.
