Background

The in vitro enzyme activity test result shows that: the red clover water extract and the ethanol extracts with different concentrations have certain inhibitory activity on tyrosinase, wherein the activity of the ethanol extract is higher than that of the water extract, and the activity of the 40% ethanol extract is close to that of chamomile.

The above results show that: the red clover extract is an excellent tyrosinase natural inhibitor and has the potential of further developing into cosmetics or skin medicaments.

It is another object of the present invention to provide a tyrosinase inhibitor.

The red clover extract can be used as an active ingredient for a tyrosinase inhibitor independently, and can also be used as an active ingredient for the tyrosinase inhibitor together with other ingredients with the same activity, such as chamomile extract, arbutin and the like, so that the tyrosinase inhibitory activity is further improved. The tyrosinase inhibitor contains active ingredients and pharmaceutically acceptable carriers.

Preferably, the red clover extract is a red clover alcohol extract, and the alcohol includes, but is not limited to, ethanol, methanol, propylene glycol, n-butanol, isobutanol and other monohydric or polyhydric alcohols.

The present invention is preferably 20-80% ethanol.

Further preferred according to the invention is 40% ethanol.

Based on the invention, the invention further provides a cosmetic or daily chemical product, wherein the cosmetic or daily chemical product contains the whitening agent, and the whitening agent is the red clover extract. The cosmetics comprise dosage forms of facial masks, milky lotions, creams and the like, and the daily chemical products comprise dosage forms of perfumed soaps, shower gels and the like. The cosmetic or daily chemical product has a main function of whitening.

Based on the above invention, the present invention still further provides a medicament for treating diseases caused by melanin pigmentation, the active ingredient of which is red clover extract. The diseases caused by the melanin pigmentation include but are not limited to freckles, chloasma and melanoma.

Of course, the application of the invention is not limited to this, and in view of the wide existence and important role of tyrosinase in bacteria, microorganisms, plants and animals, the inhibitor provided by the invention also has great application potential in the fields of agriculture, animal husbandry, food additives and the like, and the application related to the tyrosinase inhibitor is within the protection scope of the invention.
