1. The food-grade starch master batch composition is characterized by comprising 35-70 wt% of thermoplastic starch, 12-35 wt% of matrix, 2-15 wt% of compatilizer, 0.1-2 wt% of lubricant and 0.1-1 wt% of auxiliary agent, based on the total weight of the food-grade starch master batch composition.

2. The food-grade starch masterbatch composition according to claim 1, wherein the thermoplastic starch is present in an amount of 45-60 wt%, the matrix is present in an amount of 20-35 wt%, the compatibilizer is present in an amount of 5-8 wt%, the lubricant is present in an amount of 0.1-1 wt%, and the adjuvant is present in an amount of 0.1-0.5 wt%, based on the total weight of the food-grade starch masterbatch composition.

The food-grade starch masterbatch composition according to claim 1, wherein said thermoplastic starch is plasticized from raw starch selected from one or more of corn starch, potato starch, and sweet potato starch, and said plasticizer is selected from one or more of glycerin, glycerol monostearate, and sorbitol;

preferably, the native starch is used in an amount of 60 to 90 parts by weight, relative to 100 parts by weight of the thermoplastic starch.

4. The food-based starch masterbatch composition according to claim 1, wherein said matrix is selected from one or more of linear low density polyethylene, polypropylene, and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer.

5. The food-grade starch masterbatch composition according to claim 1, wherein the compatibilizer is an octenyl succinic acid graft polymer and/or a succinic acid graft polymer.

6. The food grade starch concentrate composition of claim 1, wherein the lubricant is selected from the group consisting of fatty acids, fatty acid salts, and esters thereof;

preferably, the lubricant is calcium stearate and/or zinc stearate.

7. The food grade starch masterbatch composition of claim 1, wherein the auxiliary agent is an antioxidant and/or a bacteriostatic modifier.

8. A preparation method of food grade starch masterbatch is characterized by comprising the following steps:

a food grade starch concentrate composition according to any of claims 1 to 7, obtainable by granulation.

9. Food grade starch concentrate made by the method of claim 8.

10. The food-grade starch concentrate of claim 9, wherein the food-grade starch concentrate has a particle size of 10-30 μm;

preferably, the water content of the food grade starch master batch is 0.2-0.6 wt%.

Technical Field

The invention belongs to the technical field of chemistry, and particularly relates to a food-grade starch master batch composition, food-grade starch master batches and a preparation method thereof.

Background

The plastic packaging bag made of polyethylene and other materials is light in weight, relatively low in cost, convenient to use, good in water and oil resistance, and capable of increasing the using amount rapidly, and the polyethylene materials bring great convenience to the life of people, and packaging wastes are increased in a large scale. Only 9% of plastics are recycled worldwide, which causes serious problems because most plastics cannot be biodegraded, usually more than 400 years are needed for complete degradation, and the incomplete degradation of plastics causes more and more serious ocean, land and air pollution. The natural ecological environment faces a great challenge.

With the proposal of the policy of building ecological civilization in China, the country pays more and more attention to environment-friendly materials. Therefore, there is a great need to provide a degradable package to solve the problems existing at present. To this end, many techniques and related materials are known to solve this problem. However, the main direction of research is to blend starch with polyethylene, granulating and blowing the starch into film, wherein the starch is cheap relative to polyethylene, but most of the used compatilizers are toxic and cannot be in direct contact with food, so that the application of starch-based plastics in food packaging is limited to a great extent. Therefore, it is highly desirable to provide a starch-filled plastic that is inexpensive and has good properties, making it useful for food packaging applications.

Disclosure of Invention

The food-grade starch master batch composition and the starch master batch provided by the invention can further increase the addition amount of starch in the bio-based environment-friendly degradable material or product, save the cost, ensure the excellent plastic performance of the prepared bio-based environment-friendly degradable material or product and further improve the environment-friendly performance of the bio-based environment-friendly degradable material or product.

In order to achieve the above objects, in a first aspect, the present invention provides a food grade starch concentrate composition comprising 35-70 wt% of thermoplastic starch, 12-35 wt% of a matrix, 2-15 wt% of a compatibilizer, 0.1-2 wt% of a lubricant, and 0.1-1 wt% of an auxiliary, based on the total weight of the food grade starch concentrate composition.

Preferably, based on the total weight of the food-grade starch master batch composition, the content of the thermoplastic starch is 45-60 wt%, the content of the matrix is 20-35 wt%, the content of the compatilizer is 5-8 wt%, the content of the lubricant is 0.1-1 wt%, and the content of the auxiliary agent is 0.1-0.5 wt%.

Preferably, the thermoplastic starch is plasticized from raw starch selected from one or more of corn starch, potato starch and sweet potato starch, and the plasticizer is selected from one or more of glycerol, glycerol monostearate and sorbitol.

Preferably, the native starch is used in an amount of 60 to 90 parts by weight, relative to 100 parts by weight of the thermoplastic starch.

Preferably, the matrix is selected from one or more of linear low density polyethylene, polypropylene and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer.

In a third aspect, the present invention provides food grade starch concentrate produced by the method of the present invention.

Preferably, the particle size of the food grade starch concentrate is 10-30 μm.

Preferably, the water content of the food grade starch master batch is 0.2-0.6 wt%.

Compared with the prior art, the invention has the following beneficial effects:

1. the compatilizer which can be used in food is adopted, so that the use of maleic anhydride which is commonly used in starch-based films in the prior art is avoided, and the product is further ensured to be nontoxic and meet the requirements of food-grade packaging films;

2. the invention optimizes the components and the proportion of the food grade starch master batch, can further increase the addition amount and the addition proportion of starch in the plastic, and further saves the cost;

3. the starch-based plastic product prepared from the starch master batch composition and the starch master batch provided by the invention has excellent plastic performance, is suitable for packaging products, is particularly suitable for various packaging bags and/or sealing bags, and is particularly suitable for express bags, hand bags, vest bags, rope-penetrating bags, flat bags, buckle bags, zipper bags, edge sealing bags, hand bags, rope-drawing bags and the like.

The endpoints of the ranges and any values disclosed herein are not limited to the precise range or value, and such ranges or values should be understood to encompass values close to those ranges or values. For ranges of values, between the endpoints of each of the ranges and the individual points, and between the individual points may be combined with each other to give one or more new ranges of values, and these ranges of values should be considered as specifically disclosed herein.

In a first aspect, the present invention provides a food grade starch concentrate composition comprising, based on the total weight of the food grade starch concentrate composition, 35-70 wt% of a thermoplastic starch, 12-35 wt% of a matrix, 2-15 wt% of a compatibilizer, 0.1-2 wt% of a lubricant, and 0.1-1 wt% of an auxiliary.

By adopting the raw materials which can be used for food, the non-toxicity of the product is further ensured, the components and the proportion of the food grade starch master batch are optimized, the adding proportion of starch in plastic is increased, and the cost is further saved.

In the present invention, in order to further increase the addition amount of starch in subsequent products, preferably, based on the total weight of the food-grade starch masterbatch composition, the content of the thermoplastic starch is 45-60 wt%, the content of the matrix is 20-35 wt%, the content of the compatibilizer is 5-8 wt%, the content of the lubricant is 0.1-1 wt%, and the content of the auxiliary agent is 0.1-0.5 wt%.

In the present invention, preferably, the thermoplastic starch is plasticized from native starch.

The above raw starch is not particularly limited and may be derived from a cereal or tuber type plant, and in the present invention, it is preferable that the raw starch is selected from one or more of corn starch, potato starch and sweet potato starch.

The plasticizer is not particularly limited, and may be any of various plasticizers commonly used in the art, and in the present invention, it is preferable that the plasticizer is one or more selected from the group consisting of glycerin, glyceryl monostearate, sorbitol, triethanolamine, and urea.

In the present invention, it is preferable that the native starch is used in an amount of 60 to 90 parts by weight, relative to 100 parts by weight of the thermoplastic starch. In one embodiment of the present invention, the raw starch is used in an amount of 80 parts by weight, and the specific preparation method comprises:

drying raw starch for 30 minutes, adding the dried raw starch and plasticizer into a high-speed mixer according to the proportion of 80/20 by weight, adjusting the rotation speed to 450rpm, stirring for 15 minutes, completing plasticizing, and placing the mixture into a hopper for later use.

In the present invention, preferably, the matrix is selected from one or more of Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE), polypropylene (PP) and ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer.

In order to further ensure the non-toxicity of the product, in the present invention, it is preferable that the compatibilizer is an octenyl succinic acid graft polymer and/or a succinic acid graft polymer. By adopting the compatilizer which can be used for food, the non-toxicity of the product is further ensured,

in the present invention, preferably, the lubricant is selected from the group consisting of fatty acids, fatty acid salts, and esters thereof.

In the present invention, preferably, the lubricant is calcium stearate and/or zinc stearate.

In the present invention, preferably, the auxiliary agent is an antioxidant and/or a bacteriostatic modifier.

In a second aspect, the present invention provides a method for preparing food grade starch concentrate, comprising:

the food grade starch master batch composition is prepared by granulating. In a particular embodiment of the invention, the preparation is carried out in particular according to the following steps:

(1) preparation of raw materials

Sequentially adding the plasticized starch obtained in the above manner, a matrix, a lubricant and an auxiliary agent into a high-speed mixer, adjusting the rotating speed to 300rpm, stirring for 5 minutes, discharging, and discharging for later use;

(2) preparation of masterbatches

And (2) adding the uniformly mixed materials in the step (1) into a hopper in a double-screw extruder, and performing extrusion granulation to obtain the food-grade starch master batch. In a third aspect, the invention provides food grade starch concentrate produced by the above method.

The particle size of the starch concentrate is not particularly limited, and it is preferable that the food grade starch concentrate has a particle size of 10-30 μm in the present invention, in consideration of the actual situation of the starch concentrate production equipment and convenience in the subsequent use of the starch concentrate.

The moisture content of the starch concentrate is not particularly limited, and it is preferable that the moisture content of the food grade starch concentrate is 0.2-0.6 wt% in the present invention, in consideration of the actual situation of the starch concentrate production equipment and convenience in utilization of the subsequent starch concentrate.

The present invention will be described in detail below with reference to examples, but the present invention is not limited to the following examples.
