Technical Field

The invention relates to the field of adhesives, in particular to a paper pulp paste and a preparation method thereof.

Background

Starch is a natural polymer, when a starch suspension is heated, the appearance of starch grains is not changed before the starch grains reach a certain critical temperature, and when the starch suspension reaches the critical temperature, some starch grains suddenly swell and lose the cross-shaped characteristic, and the two phenomena occur from the center and quickly diffuse to the periphery. The swelling temperature of each particle of the same starch grain is different, but the swelling temperature is about 10 ℃, and the gelatinization temperature of each particle is different, probably because of the different combination between starch molecules. The gelatinization may start in the region of the amorphous complex of starch grains where the bond is weakest, and it is clear that the bonding of these amorphous regions varies in degree of bonding in each starch grain, so that the gelatinization temperature is not a single temperature, but rather a range of temperatures.

Starch viscosity is a very important factor affecting the water resistance of the paste produced and is one of the simplest variables for the operator to control, the general rule being that high paste viscosity resists retrowetting of the paper and retains water on the paste line. Conversely, when the paste is too viscous, the moisture quickly leaves the batter lines, which have a white appearance because of the lack of water associated with raw starch or because the batter lines on the tops appear glossy because the adhesive is almost completely absorbed by the core paper and gels before contacting the backing paper. Currently, the waterproof property of the paste used in the market needs to be improved so as to be applied to more scenes.
