Most of the new generation of afterburners adopt an integrated afterburner with a rectification support plate and a flame stabilizer which are integrally designed. However, the conventional strut plate flame stabilizer generates a karman vortex street type backflow vortex, and the backflow vortex has poor stability, so that local unstable combustion can be caused.

Compared with the conventional support plate flame stabilizer with increased width, the novel support plate flame stabilizer has the advantages that crescent sand dune molded surfaces are arranged on two sides of the conventional support plate flame stabilizer to achieve the same flame stabilization performance, flame propagation speed and combustion efficiency, so that the caused flow resistance loss is smaller, and the K-H backflow vortex replaces the karman vortex street type backflow vortex, thereby being beneficial to reducing the flow resistance loss.
