The contact module of claim 7, wherein the compression contact comprises a contact body extending from the edge of the shield toward the ground contact and a crimp at an end of the contact body proximate the ground contact, the compression contact being in compression contact with the ground contact through the crimp.

9. The contact module according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the contact piece and the shield piece are integrally formed by bending.

The invention aims to provide a contact module, which aims to solve the problem that the existing contact module has poor signal crosstalk prevention capability; in addition, the present invention also aims to provide a high-speed electrical connector to solve the problem of poor signal transmission performance of the current high-speed electrical connector due to poor shielding effect of the shielding plate.

Detailed Description

The following further describes embodiments of the present invention with reference to the drawings.

In the embodiment of the contact module of the present invention, as shown in fig. 1 to 8, the contact module includes an insulator 1, a ground contact 2 fixed in the insulator 1, and signal contacts 30, wherein the signal contacts 30 are arranged in pairs in the insulator 1, and two signal contacts 30 arranged in pairs constitute a differential signal pair 3. The differential signal pair 3 and the grounding contact 2 are arranged side by side, and two grounding contacts 2 are arranged on two sides of the differential signal pair 3, so that the shielding effect of the differential pair is ensured. The ground contact 2 and the signal contact 30 are both bent contacts, and the differential signal pair 3 and the ground contact 2 are both plastic-encapsulated in the insulator 1.

As shown in fig. 2 and 3, the contact module further includes a shielding plate group 4 on one side of the signal contact 30, the shielding plate group 4 includes four shielding plates 41, the shielding plates 41 correspond to the differential signal pairs 3 one to one, and the shielding plates 41 are on one side of the differential signal pairs 3 and extend along the extending direction of the differential signal pairs 3 to shield the differential signal pairs 3. The grounding contact pieces 2 at two sides of the differential signal pair 3 are contacted with corresponding contact piece shielding groups 6, that is, the two sides of each differential signal pair 3 are provided with the contact piece shielding groups 6, the contact piece shielding groups 6 at two sides of the differential signal pair 3 and the shielding pieces 41 corresponding to the differential signal pair 3 jointly enclose a U-shaped shielding cavity 7 for shielding the differential signal pair 3, the shielding effect on the differential signal pair 3 is ensured, and signal crosstalk between different differential signal pairs 3 is prevented. When the contact module is used in combination with other contact modules, the openings of the U-shaped shielding cavities 7 of two adjacent contact modules are in the same direction or in opposite directions.

In this embodiment, the shielding piece realizes that shielding piece and ground contact are fixed through the jack interference fit on grafting contact piece and the ground contact, and in other embodiments, the contact piece also can be connected the contact through modes such as welding, elastic crimping buckle connection with ground contact.
