Referring to fig. 6, when the gas meter is inverted due to an abnormal reason, gas flows into the outlet pipe 6 from the gas outlet 10, and at this time, the backflow prevention device 5 is installed in the outlet pipe 6 to intercept the gas, so that the backflow prevention effect is realized. The invention enables the gas meter to have the function of anti-reflux; the gas meter can not be normally used when being inverted; prevent the malicious upside-down installation of user and steal the gas action. Meanwhile, the problems that the counter-flow prevention device of the existing gas meter has poor counter-flow prevention effect and reliability or too large pressure loss and cannot cover gas meter products with full-series flow are solved.
