subsequently bringing the freeze plate closer to a freezing position by moving at least one of the upper freeze plate and the lower freeze plate to clamp each individual pocket in contact with the contact surface of the upper freeze plate and the contact surface of the lower freeze plate, wherein the each individual pocket is held in an angled pocket configuration at an angle of at least 2 ° relative to horizontal;

The method of any of claims 9 to 14, wherein bringing the freeze plate close to a freezing position to sandwich each individual pocket in contact with the contact surface of the upper freeze plate and the contact surface of the lower freeze plate by moving at least one of the upper freeze plate and the lower freeze plate comprises linearly and vertically displacing at least one of the freeze plates.
