5. The control arm as set forth in claim 3 wherein said control arm body includes first and second opposed surfaces, said weight-reducing slot extending through said first and second surfaces.

6. The control arm as claimed in claim 1, wherein a bumper is further provided on the control arm body.

7. The control arm according to claim 1, characterized in that said control arm body, said first connection, said second connection and said third connection are provided with a corrosion resistant layer on their surface.

8. The control arm as set forth in claim 7 wherein said corrosion resistant layer is formed by a spray coating process.

9. The control arm as claimed in claim 1, wherein said control arm body, said first connector, said second connector and said third connector are made using a casting process.

10. An automobile, characterized in that it comprises a control arm according to any one of claims 1 to 9.
