7. The control arm as set forth in claim 5 wherein said control arm body includes first and second opposed surfaces, said weight-reducing slot extending through said first and second surfaces.

8. The control arm as set forth in claim 1 wherein said control arm body, said mounting bracket, said first link, said second link, and said third link are each provided with a corrosion resistant layer on a surface thereof.

9. The control arm as claimed in claim 1, wherein said control arm body, said mounting bracket, said first connector, said second connector and said third connector are made using a casting process.

10. An automobile, characterized in that it comprises a control arm according to any one of claims 1 to 9.

The control arm body 10 may be a U-shaped structure, and the second end and the third end of the control arm body 10 are two opposite ends of the opening of the U-shaped structure, respectively, and the first end is the end of the U-shaped structure away from the opening.
