Background

The swirler is an important component in the combustion chamber of the aircraft engine, is arranged at the head part of the flame tube and is used for generating the rotation speed of the flowing air so as to form a backflow area in the flame tube and improve the combustion stability.

In general, the swirler is cast or machined, the vanes and the front and rear walls are integrated or welded, and the throat area is fixed and cannot be adjusted. However, in the initial stage of combustion chamber development, the cyclone with different throat areas generally needs to be subjected to model selection tests, and the traditional method is to process a plurality of cyclones to respectively perform tests, so that on one hand, the production cost is high, on the other hand, the production period is long, most importantly, the throat areas of the cyclones cannot be steplessly adjusted, and the tests have the risk that the optimal throat areas cannot be found, thereby bringing certain difficulties to the initial stage of combustion chamber development and tests. Therefore, in order to solve the above problems of the conventional cyclone test, a cyclone structure having a simple structure and a steplessly adjustable throat area is required, thereby saving expenses and time for smoothly finding an optimal throat area.

Detailed Description
