The heating temperature of the server can reach more than 60 ℃, heat dissipation needs to be carried out through auxiliary equipment, and if the heat dissipation effect is poor, the server is very easy to crash due to local overheating inside, and the normal operation of the data center is affected. Therefore, server heat dissipation is an important issue that needs to be addressed by data centers. Most of traditional data centers adopt air conditioners for air cooling heat dissipation, a large amount of energy needs to be consumed, and the heat dissipation efficiency is low.

The liquid immersion type cooling is to place the server in cooling liquid for heat exchange and cooling, and the cooling liquid is in direct contact with the server for heat exchange, so that the heat exchange efficiency is high. And the temperature of the cooling liquid after heat exchange is higher than the perennial meteorological temperature of most areas in China, so that the natural cooling source can be fully utilized to cool the cooling liquid, and the energy consumption of the data center is greatly reduced.
