Technical Field

The invention relates to a technology for recycling aluminum hydroxide roasting dust, in particular to a method for preparing pure calcium aluminate cement from aluminum hydroxide roasting electric dust collection powder.

Background

In the process of boiling roasting of aluminum hydroxide, the aluminum hydroxide is preheated by hot air at 380 deg.C in a Venturi drier and then enters a preheating cyclone cylinder for classification under the action of centrifugal force, coarse powder enters a main roasting system, fine powder is collected by an electric dust collector and then is sent to a -grade cyclone cooler, and the fine powder is preheated and mixed into a finished product at 542 deg.C.

Industrial high-purity calcium aluminate cement is generally obtained by using industrial alumina as a raw material, matching with high-quality lime or light calcium carbonate, sintering in a high-temperature down-draft kiln or sintering in a rotary kiln or melting in an electric arc furnace, and has high production cost.

Disclosure of Invention

The invention aims to provide a method for preparing pure calcium aluminate cement by using aluminum hydroxide roasting electric dust collection powder, aiming at the defects of the prior art, so that the synthesis cost of the pure calcium aluminate cement is reduced, and the quality and the service performance of metallurgical-grade aluminum oxide products are improved.

The invention adopts the following technical scheme:

The method has the beneficial effects that the electric dust-collecting powder is separated from the alumina production flow in the process of producing alumina by boiling roasting of aluminum hydroxide, the chemical purity of metallurgical-grade alumina is improved, the physical performance indexes such as the fluidity and the granularity of an alumina product are improved, the quality of metallurgical-grade alumina is improved, and energy conservation and consumption reduction of aluminum electrolysis enterprises are facilitated.

Referring to fig. 1, A method for preparing pure calcium aluminate cement by roasting electric dust collection powder with aluminum hydroxide is characterized by comprising the following steps:

(1) screening electric dust collection powder by a vibration screening machine to remove impurities in the process of producing alumina by boiling roasting of aluminum hydroxide, and homogenizing undersize materials;

(2) weighing electric dust collection powder and light calcium carbonate according to the proportion required by the formula of the generated calcium aluminate, and grinding the electric dust collection powder and the light calcium carbonate in a dry ceramic lining ball mill for 25 to 32 hours respectively, wherein the ratio of balls to materials is 2: 1, and the average particle size of the ground materials is 4.8 to 5.2 mu m; then uniformly mixing the two ground raw materials in a mixer;

(3) loading the ground and uniformly mixed raw materials into a stainless steel sugar coating machine, adding 5-5.5% peach gum aqueous solution, and rolling into balls with the size of phi 30-10 mm;

(4) the ball-shaped objects are put into a sagger and put into a 1600 ℃ high-temperature box furnace or an 1800 ℃ ultra-high temperature gas kiln which takes a silicon-molybdenum rod as a heating element, and high-temperature sintering is carried out for 2 to 8 hours at the temperature of 1450 to 1700 ℃;

(5) after the fired material is cooled, the material is crushed by a jaw crusher, ground by a dry ceramic lining ball mill and sieved. Preferably, the screen residue of the square-hole screen with the fineness of 0.080mm cannot exceed 10 percent.
