9. A composite fabric hemming process for preparing a composite fabric according to claims 1 to 8 comprising the steps of:

step S110, sequentially putting a surface layer fabric, a secondary surface layer fabric, a composite material layer fabric, a secondary bottom layer fabric and a bottom layer fabric into a mold;

step S120, if the first wrapping edge is manufactured, the periphery of the surface layer fabric with a larger area is turned downwards, wraps part of the outer surface of the edge of the bottom layer fabric and is tightly attached; if the second wrapping edge is manufactured, the peripheries of the surface layer fabric and the secondary surface layer fabric with larger areas are turned downwards, wrap part of the outer surface of the edge of the bottom layer fabric and are tightly attached; if the third edge covering is manufactured, the peripheries of the secondary bottom layer fabric and the bottom layer fabric with larger areas extend upwards, wrap part of the outer surface of the edge of the surface layer fabric and are tightly attached; if the fourth wrapping edge is manufactured, the periphery of the bottom layer fabric with a larger area extends upwards, wraps part of the outer surface of the edge of the surface layer fabric and is tightly attached;

s130, closing the die to press and shape the wrapped multilayer composite fabric;

A method of hemming a composite fabric according to claim 9 wherein: when the surface layer fabric, the secondary bottom layer fabric or the bottom layer fabric with larger area adopts the reinforced fabric, the inner side surfaces of the first covered edge, the second covered edge, the third covered edge or the fourth covered edge formed by the reinforced fabric are uniformly coated with the adhesive, and the adhesive adopts epoxy resin, phenolic resin, unsaturated polyester, vinyl resin, polyurethane, polypropylene, polyurethane, polyimide, acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene, high-density polyethylene, polycarbonate, thermoplastic polyester, polyphenylene sulfide, polyformaldehyde, polycarbonate, polyether ether ketone or polylactic acid.

Technical Field

The invention relates to the field of fabrics and edge covering methods thereof, in particular to a composite fabric and an edge covering method thereof.

Background

As fiber-reinforced composite molding technology matures, the number and range of applications of composite materials in the textile field are gradually expanding, but problems such as cracking, bulging, edge damage of composite materials, and moisture absorption and failure of sandwich composite materials are gradually exposed during the application of composite materials. These problems are closely related to the manufacturing process and technology of the composite material, and in order to solve the problems of cracking and bulging, engineering technicians adopt various interlayer connection means, such as three-dimensional weaving, sewing, needling and the like, and also achieve certain effects.

However, most of the existing composite materials are paved in a lamination mode, the edges of the composite materials are all open, and particularly, the sandwich composite material is more obvious, so that many defects are caused, such as secondary damage of the edges, edge cracking, interlayer swelling, failure, moisture absorption of the sandwich material at the edges and the like, and the comprehensive use performance and the service life of the composite material fabric are directly influenced.

Therefore, there is still a need for improvement and development of the prior art.

Disclosure of Invention

In order to solve the technical problems, the invention provides the composite fabric which is high in comprehensive use performance and long in service life.

Meanwhile, the invention also provides a composite fabric edge covering method, which can improve the comprehensive use performance of the composite fabric and prolong the service life of the composite fabric.

The composite material fabric edge covering method comprises the following steps: when the surface layer fabric, the secondary bottom layer fabric or the bottom layer fabric with larger area adopts the reinforced fabric, the inner side surfaces of the first covered edge, the second covered edge, the third covered edge or the fourth covered edge formed by the reinforced fabric are uniformly coated with the adhesive, and the adhesive adopts epoxy resin, phenolic resin, unsaturated polyester, vinyl resin, polyurethane, polypropylene, polyurethane, polyimide, acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene, high-density polyethylene, polycarbonate, thermoplastic polyester, polyphenylene sulfide, polyformaldehyde, polycarbonate, polyether ether ketone or polylactic acid.

According to the composite fabric and the edge covering method thereof provided by the invention, the edge of the outermost layer fabric on one side with a larger area and/or the edge of the outermost layer fabric on the other side with a smaller wrapping area of the secondary outer layer fabric are used for forming the edge covering, so that the edge of the laminated or sandwiched composite fabric is protected, the cracking or secondary physical damage of the edge is reduced or avoided, the sandwiched composite material is isolated from the outside, the moisture absorption problem of a foam core material or a honeycomb core material of the sandwiched or sandwiched composite fabric is solved, the comprehensive use performance of the laminated or sandwiched composite fabric is obviously improved, and the service life of the laminated or sandwiched composite fabric is also obviously prolonged.

Detailed Description

The embodiments and examples of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings, and the described embodiments are only for the purpose of illustrating the present invention and are not intended to limit the embodiments of the present invention.

In order to improve the comprehensive use performance of the composite material fabric, overcome some defects of the composite material fabric in the design and manufacturing process, expand the application range of the composite material fabric product and prolong the service life of the composite material fabric, the invention provides the composite material fabric and a binding preparation method thereof, namely, all edges of the uppermost layer fabric and/or the secondary upper layer fabric are reserved with enough length or certain length, and part of the outer surface of the lowermost layer fabric is wrapped and tightly attached to form binding; or, reserving enough length or a certain length at all edges of the lowest layer fabric and/or the next lower layer fabric, wrapping part of the outer surface of the uppermost layer fabric and tightly fitting to form a reverse binding edge, thereby obtaining the composite fabric with a complete binding edge.

Scheme one, as shown in fig. 1, fig. 1 is a schematic layer structure of a first embodiment of the composite fabric of the present invention; the composite material fabric sequentially comprises a surface layer fabric 110, a secondary surface layer fabric 120, a composite material layer fabric 130, a secondary bottom layer fabric 140 and a bottom layer fabric 150 from top to bottom, the area of the surface layer fabric 110 is larger than that of the secondary surface layer fabric 120, the composite material layer fabric 130, the secondary bottom layer fabric 140 and the bottom layer fabric 150, the areas of the secondary surface layer fabric 120, the composite material layer fabric 130, the secondary bottom layer fabric 140 and the bottom layer fabric 150 are the same, and the periphery of the surface layer fabric 110 extends downwards, wraps part of the outer surface of the edge of the bottom layer fabric 150 and is tightly attached to form a first wrapping edge 111.

Scheme four, as shown in fig. 4, fig. 4 is a schematic view of a layer structure of a fourth embodiment of the composite fabric of the present invention; the composite fabric sequentially comprises a surface layer fabric 410, a secondary layer fabric 420, a composite layer fabric 430, a secondary bottom layer fabric 440 and a bottom layer fabric 450 from top to bottom, the areas of the surface layer fabric 410, the secondary layer fabric 420, the composite layer fabric 430 and the secondary bottom layer fabric 440 are the same, the area of the bottom layer fabric 450 is larger than the areas of the surface layer fabric 410, the secondary layer fabric 420, the composite layer fabric 430 and the secondary bottom layer fabric 440, the periphery of the bottom layer fabric 450 extends upwards, wraps part of the outer surface of the edge of the surface layer fabric 410 and is tightly attached to form a fourth wrapping edge 451.

In a preferred embodiment of the composite fabric of the present invention, for the surface layer fabric (110 or 210), the sub-surface layer fabric 220, the sub-bottom layer fabric 340 or the bottom layer fabric (350 or 450) with a larger area, the processing at the corners thereof may be provided with cut lines to adapt to the shape at the corners, so that the cut lines do not form creases or bulges during the edge covering or edge turn-up process.

Specifically, referring to fig. 5, fig. 5 is a schematic view of an expanded structure of an embodiment of the composite material fabric of the present invention at an outer arc corner, where a dotted line is a broken line and a solid line is a cut line; taking the surface layer material 110 in the first embodiment as an example, when the corner on the surface layer material is an outer arc corner, the first edge 111 at the corner is composed of a plurality of rectangular blocks 113 whose inner side edges are not cut.

Specifically, referring to fig. 6, fig. 6 is a schematic view of an expanded structure of an embodiment of the composite material fabric of the present invention at an inner arc corner, where a dotted line is a broken line and a solid line is a cut line; taking the bottom layer fabric 450 in the fourth embodiment as an example, in the case that the corner thereof is an inner arc corner, the fourth tipping 451 at the corner is composed of a plurality of segments 453 whose inner side edges are not cut.

In the preferred embodiment of the composite material fabric of the present invention, preferably, the facing material (110, 210, 310 or 410), the secondary facing material (120, 220, 320 or 420), the secondary bottom facing material (140, 240, 340 or 440) or the bottom facing material (150, 250, 350 or 450) may be reinforced fabric or prepreg; the composite material layer fabric (130, 230, 330 or 430) can be a multilayer laminated composite material, and can also be a sandwich composite material of a foam core or a honeycomb core.

For example, in the first embodiment, a glass fiber plain woven fabric is used as a reinforcing fabric to produce a 6-layer laminated composite fabric, 5 pieces of the fabric, which are the secondary layer fabric 120, the (two-layer) composite layer fabric 130, the secondary bottom layer fabric 140 and the bottom layer fabric 150, are cut into pieces of fabric of 300mm × 300mm, while the glass fiber fabric, which is the primary layer fabric 110, is cut into pieces of fabric of 350mm × 350mm, and 25mm is left at each of the two symmetrical edges thereof as the length of the edge-wrapped fabric; the corners of the surface layer fabric 110 are cut, so that the edge covering process is not prone to generating creases or bulges; the periphery of the surface fabric 110 extends downwards, the periphery of the surface fabric 110 wraps part of the outer surface of the edge of the bottom fabric 150 and is tightly attached to form a first edge cover 111, the 6-layer laminated composite fabric is molded by using a mold, the temperature is raised for solidification, and the mold is opened to take out a part, so that the 6-layer laminated composite fabric with a complete edge cover is obtained.

For another example, in the second embodiment, a carbon fiber fabric prepreg is used as a ply material, a sandwich composite fabric with 4 layers each of the upper and lower layers and a foam core sandwiched therebetween is manufactured, 7 pieces of fabrics serving as (two layers of) other face fabric (located between the face fabric 220 of the sub-layer and the face fabric 230 of the composite layer, not shown), the face fabric 230 of the composite layer, (two layers of) other base fabric (located between the face fabric 230 of the composite layer and the face fabric 240 of the sub-layer, not shown), the face fabric 240 of the sub-layer and the face fabric 250 of the base layer are cut into pieces of fabric of 300mm × 300mm, the carbon fiber fabrics serving as the face fabric 210 and the face fabric 220 of the sub-layer are cut into pieces of fabric of 350mm × 350mm, and 25mm is left at each of the two; cutting is carried out at the corners of the surface layer fabric 210 and the secondary surface layer fabric 220, so that the folding or bulging cannot be generated in the edge covering process; the peripheries of the surface layer fabric 210 and the secondary surface layer fabric 220 extend downwards, wrap part of the outer surface of the edge of the bottom layer fabric and are tightly attached to form a second wrapping edge 212, then the 9 layers of sandwich composite fabric are molded by using a mold, the temperature is raised for solidification, and the 9 layers of sandwich composite fabric with complete wrapping edges are obtained after mold opening and part taking.

For another example, in the third embodiment, a carbon fiber fabric prepreg is used as a ply material to produce an 8-ply composite fabric, 6 fabrics of the face fabric 310, the sub-face fabric 320 and the (three) composite fabric 330 are cut into 300mm × 300mm, the carbon fiber fabrics of the sub-base layer 340 and the base fabric 350 are cut into 350mm × 350mm, and 25mm is left at each of two symmetrical edges thereof as the length of the edge-covered fabric; the corners of the secondary bottom layer fabric 340 and the bottom layer fabric 350 are cut, so that the folding or bulging of the secondary bottom layer fabric is avoided in the edge covering process; the peripheries of the secondary bottom layer fabric 340 and the bottom layer fabric 350 extend upwards and wrap part of the outer surface of the edge of the surface layer fabric 310, the secondary bottom layer fabric and the bottom layer fabric are tightly attached to form a third edge cover 354, then the 8-layer laminated composite fabric is molded by using a mold, the temperature is raised for solidification, and the mold is opened to take out a piece, so that the 8-layer laminated composite fabric with the complete edge cover is obtained.

Based on the composite material fabric, the invention provides a composite material fabric edge covering method, which specifically comprises the following steps:

Experiments prove that the composite material fabric and the edge covering method thereof provided by the invention can prolong the service life of the laminated or sandwich composite material fabric by more than 20%.
