Technical Field

The present invention relates to a polymer-modified organosilicon compound containing a fluoropolyether group, a surface-treating agent comprising the organosilicon compound, and an article surface-treated with the surface-treating agent.

Background

In recent years, the touch panel of a screen has been accelerated, including a display of a mobile phone. However, the touch panel is in a state of a bare screen, and there are many opportunities for direct contact of fingers, cheeks, and the like, and there is a problem that dirt such as sebum is likely to adhere. Therefore, in order to improve the appearance and visibility, there has been a growing demand for a technique for preventing fingerprints from adhering to the surface of a display and a technique for easily removing dirt, and development of materials that can satisfy these demands has been desired. In particular, since fingerprint stains are likely to adhere to the surface of a touch panel display, it is desirable to provide a water-and oil-repellent layer. However, the conventional water-and oil-repellent layer has a high water-and oil-repellency and an excellent dirt-wiping property, but has a problem that the stain-proofing performance is deteriorated during use. Further, depending on the method of coating, the performance may vary, or the adhesion may be deteriorated depending on the base material to be coated. Further, the surface treatment agents so far have exhibited excellent surface properties for glass in many cases, but have not exhibited sufficient surface properties such as adhesion, water and oil repellency, and abrasion resistance for a resin surface.

In general, a fluoropolyether group-containing compound has a very small surface free energy, and therefore has water-and oil-repellency, chemical resistance, lubricity, mold release property, stain resistance, and the like. By utilizing its properties, the composition is industrially widely used as a water-and oil-repellent antifouling agent for paper, fiber and the like, a lubricant for magnetic recording media, an oil-repellent agent for precision equipment, a release agent, a cosmetic, a protective film and the like. However, the properties thereof mean both non-adhesiveness and non-adhesiveness to other substrates, and even if the coating can be applied to the surface of the substrate, it is difficult to make the coating film adhere to the surface.

On the other hand, silane coupling agents are known as substances for bonding organic compounds to the surface of substrates such as glass and cloth, and have been widely used as coating agents for the surface of various substrates. The silane coupling agent has an organic functional group and a reactive silyl group (generally, a hydrolyzable silyl group such as an alkoxysilyl group) in 1 molecule. The hydrolyzable silyl group undergoes a self-condensation reaction due to moisture or the like in the air to form a coating film. The coating film is a strong coating film having durability by chemically and physically bonding the hydrolyzable silyl group to the surface of glass, metal, or the like.

Thus, there has been disclosed a composition which can form a coating film which is easily adhered to the surface of a base material and has water-and oil-repellency, chemical resistance, lubricity, mold releasability, stain-proofing property and the like on the surface of the base material by using a fluoropolyether group-containing polymer-modified silane having a hydrolyzable silyl group introduced into a fluoropolyether group-containing compound (patent documents 1 to 8: Japanese patent application laid-open Nos. 2003-238577, 2860979, 4672095, 2008-534696, 2008-537557, 2012-072272, 2012-157856 and 2013-136833).

When a substrate is surface-treated with the composition containing the fluoropolyether group-containing polymer-modified silane, the substrate is coated with a film by various coating methods, and after the coating, the hydrolyzable silyl group is hydrolyzed to form a film, and the hydrolysis reaction is promoted under high-temperature conditions of 100 ℃ or higher and under humidified conditions. Further, a cured film can be formed even at room temperature by reacting slowly with moisture in the air. However, this curing step requires high-temperature humidified conditions, and takes time when curing is performed at room temperature, which may cause a problem of speed control (delay factor) in manufacturing. Further, a coating film (water-and oil-repellent layer) cured for a short time under mild conditions such as room temperature curing has a problem of deterioration in abrasion resistance and stain-proofing performance during use.

In patent document 9 (jp 2008-144144 a), a fluorine-containing carboxylic acid is added to a coating composition as a curing catalyst to accelerate curing, thereby forming a film in a short time under mild conditions. However, even if a catalyst is added to try to accelerate curing, the abrasion resistance is not sufficient for a base material such as a resin or a metal.

The group represented, α is 1 or 2. ]

In the above formulae (1) and (2), when α is 1, Rf is preferably a 1-valent fluorooxyalkyl group represented by the following general formula (3) (that is, a 1-valent fluorooxyalkylene group-containing polymer residue).

[ solution 21]

(wherein p, q, r and s are each independently an integer of 0 to 200, p + q + r + s is an integer of 3 to 200, each repeating unit may be straight or branched, each repeating unit may be randomly bonded, d is an integer of 1 to 3, and the unit (-C)dF2d-) may be linear or branched. )

In the above formulae (1) and (2), when α is 2, Rf is preferably a 2-valent fluorooxyalkylene group represented by the following general formula (4) (that is, a 2-valent fluorooxyalkylene group-containing polymer residue).

In particular, in the present invention, even at room temperature, it is sufficient to take 10 minutes to 36 hours, particularly 30 minutes to 24 hours. The film thickness of the coating film is suitably selected depending on the type of the substrate, and is usually 0.1 to 100nm, particularly 1 to 25 nm.

The article treated with the surface treatment agent of the present invention is preferably used as a part or a part of an article such as a car navigation system, a mobile phone, a digital camera, a digital video camera, a PDA, a portable audio player, a car audio, a game machine, a spectacle lens, a camera lens, a lens filter, a sunglass, a gastroscope, or the like, a copier, a PC, a liquid crystal display, an organic EL display, a plasma display, a touch panel display, a protective film, a hard coat film, a high-hardness resin, an antireflection film, a wearable terminal, or the like, an optical article, a touch panel, an antireflection film, a quartz substrate, or the like.

The surface treatment agent of the present invention can form a coating film on the above-mentioned article in a short time even under mild conditions such as room temperature, and the coating film exhibits excellent water-and oil-repellency and durability, and thus is useful particularly as a water-and oil-repellent layer for spectacle lenses, touch panel displays, hard coating films, high-hardness resins, antireflection films, wearable terminals, and the like. The high-hardness resin is a resin molded product having a pencil hardness of 4H or more, such as a trade name シルプラス manufactured by nippon iron chemical corporation and a trade name HD film manufactured by グンゼ corporation, which are PR-substituted glass films, and particularly a resin film molded from the resin, and is not particularly limited to the above-mentioned products.

Articles having a surface layer formed with antifouling properties using the surface treatment agent comprising the fluoropolyether group-containing polymer-modified organosilicon compound of the present invention can exhibit excellent wear durability. The resin having an antifouling surface layer formed by the surface treatment agent of the present invention can be suitably used for applications requiring surface antifouling treatment, such as spectacle lenses, sunglasses, touch panel displays, and antireflection films.
